OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner 385ml

Ogx conditioner has brought the shine, strength and softness back to my hair. I’ve been using this for the last few weeks. I’ve noticed my hair is a lot more hydrated than it usually is. My hair/roots don’t get oily as quick as it does with my other conditioner and shampoo. I have thin and dry hair. I usually only wash my hair twice a week. My hair actually has volume after using this. I love this conditioner, it also smells amazing! I don’t have to use detangler nor leave in conditioner after using this product. Perfect!

I have tried other OGX products and have truly enjoyed them, however I found this specific scent to be far from the truth from that statement. The scent itself smells great. However, there’s one major issue. When using this, it gave me extremely painful cystic back acne. I know this product is to blame because when I swapped the shampoo and conditioner out and went back to my usual brand the issue went away after a few weeks and no other changes to my routine. I received these products for free from Influenster and OGX in exchange for my honest review. I love the feeling of clean, smooth, and soft hair; these products help me achieve that! This product is fragranced and can be a bit strong for some, I’m sensitive to smell, but find this scent to be manageable. I’ve been using both the shampoo conditioner for the past month now and my hair has never looked better. For best results, after I wet my hair, I love to leave the conditioner on for 5-10 minutes. I find that this helps my hair look healthier, feel soft and smoother.

Super nourishing and makes my hair super soft! I feel that it does what it claims to do which is bribing moisture back to the hair, and strengthens the hair. The only thing I would say is that this has a strong scent of coconuts, so this might not be for people who are sensitive to smell, as this scent can be overpowering. But surprisingly I do like it considering I prefer no scented products. I also like that this product doesn’t contain sulfates and parabens. BUT as I read the ingredients, it does contain dimethicone. This ingredient is associated with hair loss so I did stop using this product after looking at the back. I refuse to use products containing this ingredient as I’ve seen significantly less hair loss when I avoid products that have this ingredient.

I know JJ was facing a lawsuit due to the use of DMDM but I didn’t see it on the ingredients list. So I think they’ve removed it from their products. I liked the conditioner better than the shampoo. Again, it smelled incredible! I adore anything that’s tropical scented or smells like coconuts. The scent also lingers on the hair which I love. It did hydrate my hair which made up for the dryness from the shampoo. I only gave it 4 stars because I did still have some flyaways once my hair dried. There’s definitely better conditioners out there, but this one is still a fairly decent one to try!

These came at a great time because I am definitely in the market to try some new hair washing products. What I was previously using just wasn’t holding up to the level of moisture my hair needed in all the heat and humidity of summer. The Coconut Milk conditioner by OGX is intensely hydrating, maybe TOO hydrating. (Be Careful what you wish for, right?) Overall, the thick and creamy conditioner does a great job at adding moisture to my hair and nourishing it at the same time. The parts that were bleached before definitely need more TLC but nothing a little oil can’t fix. If I were using this on my natural straight black hair, then it would be completely fine. However for the bleached ends, I need another product to help supplement that needed moisture. However I liked how voluminous my hair was after washing. I absolutly LOVE the OGX Coconut Milk Conditioner! It leaves my hair feeling soft and feeling just as moisterized dry as it is wet... Which is really awesome, my hair dye wasnt coming out with the water either (huge plus). A great conditioner that also does not leave my hair frizzy whe dried which is really hard to find a good conditioner for damaged hair and comes out feeling healther after the first use. The only thing they could work on is the price by lowering it just a little. I dont make much and having to pay bills,morgage, and buy body and hair care products along with buying groceries, and dog and cat food plus other daily expenses adds up. Other than that i highly recommend this product! Enjoy!

I'm grateful for receiving this OGX Coconut Milk Conditioner in exchange for my honest opinion. The conditioner is sulfate free and has a beautiful but subtle scent. It's blend of coconut milk, coconut oil, and whipped egg white proteins is useful for dry, damaged hair. It made my hair very soft after using; however, after long usage, my hair got more oily. Although, I think that can be a mixture of incorrectly washing my hair or not using a scalp scrubber. Otherwise, the conditioner is very affordable and OGX does not disappoint.

Love the product but hate the bottle!

I love this conditioner as it makes my hair feel soft and shiny. I also love the gentle coconut smell without it seeming overpowering or artificial. I cant stand fruity smelling hair conditioner so this conditioner is a great option for me. However the bottle is a nightmare for me to use in the shower especially when the bottle is half full. I really struggle to get the product out of the bottle. Its a nightmare! Not sure Ill be purchasing this again because of the bottle design.
