The bed itself is OK, but I had serious issues with assembling it. The instructions are poorly written and do not describe the steps clearly enough. This is made worse by the VERY POOR illustrations in the instructions and the fact that most of the components were not even labelled with any form of tag. Because of the quality of the illustrations many hours were spent trying to guess how things were supposed to go together. I had to go back and fix things with trial and error a few times and I still haven't got the gas struts working yet but had to abandon it fix later because we needed a bed last night. I looked for you tube videos, photos, anything online and the only the Temple and Webster has in the Resources page was the same useless instructions.

Very happy with the bed. It is very sturdy and better than I expected for the price paid. As others have mentioned, the instructions aren't awesome....had a few wtf moments indeed hahaha. Step 2 is a doozie....good luck with that [grin] A step by step video tutorial would be a good idea. Something I didn't realise was that there is no base in the storage section of the bed.....things stored there are directly on the floor.But overall still giving it a 5 star rating. I believe it will do the job required at a very competitive price.

Quite difficult to assemble due to incorrect instructions and also requires a drill to put together. Also, the headboard is quite low for taller mattresses. However, we're very happy with the product, overall. Really nice looking bed frame. Fabric is comfortable, and good quality. If you're handy with instructions, and happy to spend a few hours to put this together (and someone to help) - I'd strongly recommend!

I bought it for my son. Impressed by how quickly and timely it was delivered. Super easy to put together. You do need 2 people to put it together quicker but can also take your time and do it solo. The only thing was we received 1 less B screw and 1 extra A screw. We were lucky we had a similar B screw at home that we could use. Not too heavy for the base to lift up to access the storage space with the matress on it. It does lift the overall bed height a little higher than normal. I was worried about the functionality and storage space and the online catalogue and photos are not super clear but the staff on the online chat were super helpful and emailed me specific info about the bed. Work mates also gave me great recommendations about it. Happy with my purchase.

Buying a bed and mattress online (and at amazing prices ) we were somewhat cynical.But we were wonderfully surprised !Mattress : perfectly plush and super comfortable ! Certainly exceeds our expectationsBed base/frame : dubious when we unboxed it , though putting it together we were amazed at the final product. Extremely sturdy, looks great. Gas lift base provides a lot of extra storage space . Best nights sleep we have had in a very very very long time

I read a lot of reviews about vague instructions and I have to agree with that; I feel like some steps are missing and few of the images are backwards/upside down, so it's easy to make a mistake. Also, I had an issue with the gas lift piston not closing but I did some research and found out that they come locked so you have to push the gas lift down just above the piston to unlock it, now the bed lifts up/down no worries. The instructions don't tell you that. It took me approx 4hrs to assemble solo, so you do need to be patient. Upon completion, the bed is stable with the mattress on top. The metal frame allows for a sturdy and long lasting design. Assembly was relatively easy with a single person building. The air lifting mechanism works effortlessly, enabling easy access you a surprisingly large volume of storage; No need to crawl under the bed to grab something. The headboard and side covers are aesthetically pleasing and feel high quality.

Absolutely love it. Take your time with assembling it and you should be fine. I bought two singles to go under our king bed. As our king mattress is two singles. It's allowed me to clear out our wardrobes of suitcases. Suitcases are items we all have but are bulky and not used every day. I still have plenty of space under the beds to find other items for storage. The beds arrived way faster than I expected and Im in WA. Sooo happy I finally purchased them.

We put the day aside and patient pants on to put this together and we needed both. It took many hours (2 ppl) as instructions vague having to turn things around and reinstall. One strut was missing its bolt which was disappointing so had to hunt one from the local store. However, all done and the slim line of the bedhead and base has given us 15cm extra room compared to our old bed.The under bed storage is a game changer but need muscles to open and close so suggest only putting occasions things in there.First night sleep 10/10.

Arrived quickly. Built it on my own and took roughly 2.5 hrs. Didn't come with a Manual however was able to access a digital copy. The manual had only 1 middle bar in the metal frame however this bed has 2 as it's the king size. Tip for getting the gas bars to work is to push it upwards firmly before trying to lower it down- took a few attempts. Great storage space- I left the feet off so it's directly on my carpet floor. Really happy with this purchase.
