Best motorcycle oil on the market hands down! I would recommend this oil to anyone looking for a cooler running, smoother shifting motorcycle. I also use this in a fully restored 79 Honda CB750 that would always run too hot in traffic. Once I started running this oil the bike does not run hot and I seriously feel it freed up a few horsepower due to less friction (no exaggeration) literally feels like a different engine was bolted in the thing.

Used this in my first bike and after further research on Motul's website I realized it fits the exact specifications needed for my 2009 DRZ400SM. Fairly certain it's what the previous owner used. No issues at all. From my very limited experience, the clutch feels great and engine runs smoooooth.

first of all I must say that Motul really knows what they are doing. This is by far the best oil a amongst its competitors. Changed my oil on my 05 R6. The gears shift like butter. Engine runs extremely smooth. Smooth shifting. Previously I used Yamalube full synthetic 15w50. I will be using Motul from now on. Great product. Worth the money. Highly recommend this oil.

I didn?t buy this here at Revzilla, but I recently put this in my new 2021 DR-Z400SM for the first oil change at 600 miles and I have to say, I?m absolutely stunned at the difference between Motul 7100 10W-50 and the stock 10W-40 mineral oil from Suzuki. The bike is noticeably quieter, the engine produces less heat to the point where I can actually feel the difference when putting a hand near the engine, and most of all, there?s much less vibration. About 150 miles before the oil change I had put IMS pegs on the bike, was considering going back to the stock rubber-topped pegs because of vibrations that got a little irritating on a 80 minute ride. After the oil change, there?s a massive reduction in vibration that results in no discomfort at all on the pegs. It?s ... MoreI didn?t buy this here at Revzilla, but I recently put this in my new 2021 DR-Z400SM for the first oil change at 600 miles and I have to say, I?m absolutely stunned at the difference between Motul 7100 10W-50 and the stock 10W-40 mineral oil from Suzuki. This is all I?ll be using from now on, including in any future motorcycles I get. Please buy this and run it in yours, it?s absolutely more than worth every penny.
Swapped to this after using non-synthetic for my first couple of oil changes on a new bike. The difference was immediately noticeable. Fully recommended 7100 before switching to 300V. Most will say this is better for "normal" street use. Can't go wrong with either. One is red, one is green, both smell fantastic.
Excellent oil for bmws1000r. Would recommend. And i recommend the visor shop for online shopping. Their a great shop to deal with. Well done guys
Motul 7100 is a Class 5, full Esther Synthetic base oil. Science class has taught me that in the lubrication universe, this base oil is the best.I have been using Motul 7100 for twenty years and have never had any issues. As a bonus, they sponsor the "High Side, Low Side" podcast, and that's enough reason right there to put Motul in my sump. And green is my favorite color.Enjoy the ride.
My Suzuki SFV650 used to do the weird thing where it doesn't shift from neutral into first unless you roll it forward and stomp the shifter. Just put this oil in and it goes right into first every time. Now I can let my clutch fingers rest at long red lights without worrying about holding up traffic trying to get in gear once the light changes. Highly recommended
Not sure if that "Motul smell" is on purpose or just because of their proprietary tech. Nor am I going to pretend I can feel the difference or anything, I am no engineer or pro racer. However, Motul has a fantastic reputation for a reason, and this is their "good stuff", you really can't go wrong. I run it in my '21 XSR700.
Purchased this oil for my 2018 VStrom 1000. Originally, it had the Suzuki OEM oil that you'd get from the dealer. This was my first personal oil change, so I used Motul. The oil itself is nice and the carton is very convenient to use and measure with. Especially when working with milliliters.I did, however, notice that shifting to 1st gear from neutral is a lot louder and clunkier now than it was with the OEM Suzuki oil. This may become less noticeable as I put some more miles on this oil.Apart from the clunky shift, I cannot complain. Revzilla did an awesome job helping me buy this product and the customer service reps go above and beyond!
