Disappointed with the price due to how little of product you are given. I have hair that just goes past the shoulders and after one use, I assume the product will only last me 1.5 months for my hair length if I use it weekly. BUT of course, it is cheaper than getting the service done at salons.I paired the No. 0 with the No. 3 and followed the instructions for both products provided. While applying both products my hair felt very brittle. I was nervous and thought I was having a bad effect; but I did research prior to applying the products and I saw that it was mentioned that when adding protein to the hair it will give it a “strawy” texture. After shampooing and deep conditioning my hair with different products and then drying my hair, my hair felt amazing. It felt clean and voluminous. It did not feel AS dry and it was less tangled than usual. It also appeared more shiny.I have been suffering from very dry, damaged and thinning hair over the last year. I received an olaplex service in the salon once and I had amazing results. My hair dresser recommended me to buy my own olaplex to save money. So far so good and I’m looking forward to better results after consistent use.

I've been looking for a cruelty free line of products that can smooth, handle my split ends, style, and repair my hair from so much past damage. After a huge chop and brand new style, I invested in continuing the repair and nurishment of my hair. And WHAT A DIFFERENCE! By now (a month post hair cut and color), my hair would typcially be frizzy and unmanagable. i would have dry split ends and would get a sleek style. I am amazed by how the olaplex system has treated my hair. It feels soft, it's managable to style, and it feels and looks gloriously healthy! I started with the #hairrepairtreatmentkit and added sytling and smoothing products from there. I've struggled with my hair for my entire life, so this recommendation of the product doesn't come lightly.

I was torn on whether to give this 2 or three stars. I’ve used Olaplex off and on since it became available to the public. I’ve always owned it, just haven’t used it. You apply this to dry hair , saturating your hair from root to tip. If you have long hair like I do, this will take a good portion of the bottle and is really a hassle! Much easier now that it’s in a spray bottle, but in this bottle, it’s ridiculous! You leave on for 10 minutes- do not rinse (!!) and then apply No3 and wait another 10 minutes. Then you can get in shower and shampoo with recommended Olaplex shampoo and conditioner. I love doing self care and a hair mask, but this whole process is just a pain and as I said, I didn’t notice a difference. Won’t repurchase and not sure if I even want to finish what I have left. Especially with my love for K18 and the new Amika Dream Routine overnight mask

I've been using this along with no.3 and follow the directions for both to my best ability. I've noticed some improvement in the health of my hair in terms of texture and resistance to the level breakage I usually experience. I've got fine hair with severely damaged ends and planned on using this and no.3 religiously. I'm not usually the one to pay mind to the prices of beauty products but this one is different. A significant amount of of product is wasted as it is in liquid, equivalent to the consistency of water. The standard size bottle contains an insufficient amount of product for that to be acceptable in my opinion. I have only gotten an average of three applications per bottle, to my dissatisfaction, of course. I've gotten some of the splash into my eyes since the stream is so strong. It burned my eyes and smells slightly unpleasant. I have grown to be frustrated with this. I will try applying this in a different spray bottle, possibly a mist bottle and see what happens. As for now, I wouldn't suggest purchasing until Olaplex comes out with a more suitable method of application.

Best my hair has ever looked
3 May 2023

I have seriously been shocked reading the comments from these women that are having major issues using Olaplex. My heart breaks for them because I know how important our hair is to us. I can't believe it's these products causing it because they have drastically IMPROVED my hair. I use this and the Number 3 once a week. I use the clarifying shampoo once a week and in between I use the maintenance shampoo and conditioner. I also use the styling serum so basically my entire routine is Olaplex and my hair has never looked better. I'm a natural redhead and I don't get my hair colored but I do get a gloss treatment every 10 weeks and she always puts the professional formula of Olaplex in my gloss. I feel so bad for the women that are experiencing issues after using Olaplex. It's definitely not fair for y'all to be going thru this. Can I recommend something to y'all? I just want to help in someway. I take a supplement from Advanced Trichology called FoliGROWTH its the ultimate nutraceutical. It says it's designed to naturally provide all essential vitamins and nutrients to the hair and scalp for optimal hair growth and superior fullness. It has 28 herbs, vitamins and minerals which have been tested and shown to provide nutrients that result in thicker, fuller, stronger hair. It's says it's ideal for both men and women with thinning and fine hair, hair breakage, dandruff, hair loss and scalp irritation. I know that it's made my hair fuller and it's so much healthier now then it's ever been. It's shiny, no breakage, no split ends and no clogging up the drain anymore. So try it ladies and I really think you will be happy with your results. Again, I'm so sorry y'all are dealing with hair issues and I hope it gets better soon.

Bond Builder not a large enough bottle
11 September 2022

I really need bond builder for my trifecta hair issue: Gray, colored, curly. But my eyes widened when I saw the small quantity of product offered. I have curly hair to my lower back and that little bottle isn't going to last very long. Please offer this product in a larger size/quantity like you are doing with your shampoo and conditioner. Also, the sprayer shoots a thin direct spray instead of a wide spray, which would make the product apply more easily. As it is, the product is not really getting distributed very well.I should clarify that if I don't love a product, I don't even bother writing a review - but your products - out of all the products available for difficult hair problems - ARE AMAZING and actually WORK. They have SAVED my hair for the first time in years.I'm hoping my relatively small requests reach the powers who can fix the available size offering and sprayer issue.Lastly, when offering people the choice to describe their hair in the diagnostic, it's helpful to allow more than one choice. Like on the review that says "Would you describe your hair as:" Well, mine is Curly, Dry, Frizzy/Unruly, Colored/Chemically Treated, Lifeless/lacking volume, thinnin, dull/lacking shine, weak and damaged. And the products have helped address all of the issues except oiliness, which I don't have.I would be even more enthused if all products would be available in volume to allow a bit more affordability. Thank you.THANK YOU THANK YOU for restoring hope.

Damaged my hair
8 July 2022

I have been using Olaplex products for the past 2+ years with amazing results. I was regularly using No. 3,4,5 and absolutely loved them and the results. I was so excited to see more products in the line introduced.I'm not sure what happened but since using No. 0 I have lost about 3 inches of hair from breakage! Immediately after my 1st use my hair was dry, brittle, and tangled. I could not get even a wet brush through my hair. I was shocked. I assumed I must have made a mistake especially based on all of the amazing reviews (maybe I left it on too long?) I used it again the next wash and was diligent about making sure I followed the directions to a T. Unfortunately, I continued to experience dry hair and breakage. I'm wondering if after using the other products for so long and taking such good care of my hair, maybe my hair wasn't as damaged as I thought anymore...I mean it is now, but I digress. I have very thick, coarse, kinky hair so perhaps this is also not meant for my hair type, despite what the brand claims. I will continue using the other products but I would advise heavily against using No. 0 at home as the results seem to be very hit or miss for people.

Really works to repair & protect
28 June 2022

I use Olaplex No. 0 + Olaplex No. 3 every Sunday. First, I brush all the tangles out of my hair. Then I pour little bits of the 0 into my hands (because the sprayer is hard to use and I don't want to breathe in the mist), and I apply it on my dry hair, occasionally combing through, until all the strands are saturated - especially the ends. Next, I comb my hair straight so it will repair the bonds in a straight line. (Something I made up, but it makes sense to me.) I let the 0 work for 20 min. Then I add No. 3 on top, following the same process. No water, just the 3 added on top of the 0. I let the 0 + 3 work together for as long as I can, at least 20 min. So all of this can cause damage.Straight styles are so unforgiving, showing all the breakage you have, but after several years of using the whole Olaplex system, my hair looks super shiny and healthy.I'm sensitive to perfumes, I prefer everything to be unscented, and this line does have fragrance. But I don't notice the scent in the shower, and I never notice it on my dry hair. Every time I stray to another product line, I see dullness and breakage. So I've phased out all my other hair care lines (Aveda, Davines, Ouai) and now am 100% Olaplex. Not sponsored, no incentives - I buy it all myself. I wish they would pay me, though. This line is expensive!

please Olaplex replace the sprayerI have severely damaged hair from a botched attempt at highlighting at home which has left me with horrible breakage dead center of my hairI am blonde w my longest hairs lol length a couple inches past my shoulders. aside from the damage i have been losing handfuls of hair since 2020 attributed to thyroid & other hormone issues. I was so excited when a friend suggested i try this product i saw what it did for her hair. The first time i used the number 0 followed by 3 i couldn't believe how bad the sprayer mechanism was it comes out in a stream which makes no sense, it should be a mister type of release. the first couple attempts to spray my hair it went straight through my hair hitting my glass shower door, so i finally just ... Moreplease Olaplex replace the sprayerI have severely damaged hair from a botched attempt at highlighting at home which has left me with horrible breakage dead center of my hairI am blonde w my longest hairs lol length a couple inches past my shoulders. aside from the damage i have been losing handfuls of hair since 2020 attributed to thyroid & other hormone issues. For anyone interested in the product it's definitely worth it but i would recommend getting a small spray bottle from cvs or any big box store that has spray options.

Works Great! But Performs Best With Other Products...

As someone with bleached hair that keeps my hair dyed green, something that is color safe and will keep my hair's integrity in shape. I picked this up along with No. 3 and have been using them in combination for 2 months. My hair is definitely a lot stronger than it was before, and I've noticed that my hair is probably at its best state ever even with it being bleached and color treated multiple times. I've had a lot less breakage since using this and putting in the extra time towards my hair. The downside is that it really isn't meant to function alone, since it's supposed to pair with No.3 so you're purchasing two products for the proper results. But if you're on the Olaplex bandwagon, it's easy to empty your wallet on their products.I do wish the bottle was a ... MoreAs someone with bleached hair that keeps my hair dyed green, something that is color safe and will keep my hair's integrity in shape. But if you're on the Olaplex bandwagon, it's easy to empty your wallet on their products.I do wish the bottle was a bit bigger so it would last a little longer (i have very thick hair and only use this once a week to ration the product). The spray nozzle also isn't the best, but I believe that's because of the ingredients in the product. They can cause slight irritation and misting the product can cause a higher chance of irritation, so olaplex will likely never change the spray nozzle from having a straight stream.
