Clarifying Shampoo Olaplex No.4C Bond Maintenance

I've been using the @olaplex system for a few weeks now. I have super thick, curly, unmanagable hair. I've been looking for a cruelty free line of products that can smooth, handle my split ends, style, and repair my hair from so much past damage. After a huge chop and brand new style, I invested in continuing the repair and nurishment of my hair. And WHAT A DIFFERENCE! By now (a month post hair cut and color), my hair would typcially be frizzy and unmanagable. i would have dry split ends and would get a sleek style. I am amazed by how the olaplex system has treated my hair. It feels soft, it's managable to style, and it feels and looks gloriously healthy! I've even begun to use it on my daughters hair , whom in her 6 years of life has never had a haircut. Her natural curl is restoring, and her tangles and frizz are less as well! I started with the #hairrepairtreatmentkit and added sytling and smoothing products from there. I've struggled with my hair for my entire life, so this recommendation of the product doesn't come lightly.

Best Shampoo for Low Porosity Hair!

I have been using the original Olaplex No. 4 shampoo for over a year now and I have to say, after trying the Olaplex No. 4C I will never be going back! I learned last year that rather than focusing on your hair type, it is actually more important to know whether your hair is low porosity, high porosity or normal. Although my hair is type 3B I found that I had low porosity hair, which is actually not very typical for 3B hair types. I learned how to take care of my hair and choose better suited products which is why I was specifically looking for a clarifying shampoo since low porosity hair gets a lot of build up. I was unsuccessful in finding anything I liked better than the original Olaplex shampoo, so when they came out with a clarifying version I had to test it ... MoreI have been using the original Olaplex No. 4 shampoo for over a year now and I have to say, after trying the Olaplex No. 4C I will never be going back! I was unsuccessful in finding anything I liked better than the original Olaplex shampoo, so when they came out with a clarifying version I had to test it out to see if it was truly clarifying and it is! It is completely clear (this is how you can tell if a shampoo is a clarifying one) and it felt as if I washed my hair with an apple cider vinegar rinse! Squeaky clean! I can’t say enough about this product but if you have low porosity hair, or just like a super squeaky clean feel, this will be your holy grail! Thank you Olaplex!

Delivers what it promises - really clean hair

Delivers what it promises - really clean hair. I live in very hard water area so my hair never really feels clean after rinsing. I also use a few products on my hair - an oil as standard and often a blowdry spray or cream and lamellar water. I also feel these products show diminishing returns in terms of noticable results over time, so I was hopeful a clarifying reset would help them work better, too. After trialling it for 5 washes I'm a fan. My hair is literally squeaky clean and feels healthy. It's not dried out and my usual products are giving good results. I'll probably switch it up with a more moisturising shampoo but keep going back to it regularly for a refresh. I was tempted to knock off a star for the sickly sweet Olaplex scent, which I hate, but I can ... MoreDelivers what it promises - really clean hair. As with all the Olaplex products I've tried a little goes a long way and like their other shampoo this stuff gives a lot of lather. I can even get away with just one shampoo application instead of my normal 2. So although the bottle is small, it should last well.

Great clarifying shampoo

I was excited when I saw that Olaplex had a new product, the No.4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo! I was told by my hairstylist that I should get one and use it regularly (I use once per week) and was happy to find that Olaplex had just released one with great reviews. For reference, I only wash my hair 2-3 times per week and only use hair oil on the ends and dry shampoo, no other product between washes. I was truly impressed with the amount of build-up that the shampoo was able to take care of for me. I applied it to my hair, focusing on my scalp and massaged it in for about 2-3 minutes. I then left it on my head for another 5 minutes to let it do it's thing, then rinsed! The prouct has a slight, pleasant smell. Nothing bad, some people might not even notice ... MoreI was excited when I saw that Olaplex had a new product, the No.4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo! I did use a deep conditioning product after this because I am susceptible to dry, itchy scalp symptoms. I have not used a clarifying shampoo in the past so I can not speak to how it compares against others but so far I like this one and will continue to use it on a regular basis.

Ms

Had an Olaplex treatment in the salon recently due to dry, damaged, prone to frizz hair and the product was beautiful. My hair looked, felt and smelt amazing! My plan is to switch to this product once I've finished my old brand. I had several comments about how lovely my hair looked and I was able to go for the longest I'd done in years before needing to wash my hair. Recently I had to dye the roots which I do in between appointments and have done for years. Never had any issues before. However, this time I tried a new technique to speed up the long process. I had also been advised by a friend to combat frizz to try leaving my conditioner in after washing my hair. I had rinsed out the first lot and then applied a small amount to the ends which I'd left in. I wonder if the combination of that (plus getting lazy and not parting the hair in the way I had previously) and not painting the dye on carefully resulted in the disaster. I believe it was lots of product build up. My normal shampoo couldn't seem to wash it out despite several attempts and my hair was left feeling greasy, waxy and wet. It felt and looked horrible, alien! I started researching a solution and a clarifying shampoo seemed to be the answer. Then I came across Olaplex's one and knowing how lovely the product was in the salon and that it was a trusted brand, I went with that. It seemed pretty pricey but at this point I was prepared to pay whatever it took to fix the issue. Thank you Olaplex. It so did the job! Highly recommend. I have also bought the No. 5 conditioner and will be purchasing the one in the salon once I confirm the exact product! It is expensive but if it does the job and the product lasts (reviews say it lasts) then it is worth paying that bit extra. I've not found a decent conditioner in years so I am hoping I will find it in the Olaplex one. I've only used it once so early to say although it smelt lovely and combed through really easily unlike others. Based on my experience (it is only one go of each product to date so early days) but with these results I will be converting to Olaplex and highly recommend the products...

Repairs Bonds While Clarifying

Everyone needs a clarifying shampoo as part of their haircare collection. I use a clarifying shampoo once every 10 days to remove product buildup and soften my hair. Product buildup is caused by residual haircare products that are not adequately cleansed from the hair such as hair masks, conditioner, hair serums, hair oils, hair spray, etc. It’s important to incorporate a clarifying shampoo into your routine because otherwise buildup can accumulate on your scalp and stunt hair growth. In addition, residual products could weigh down the hair making it appear flat and lifeless. This product goes above and beyond ordinary clarifying shampoos because it uses Olaplex’s bond repair technology for an all in one hair treatment. The best

I’ve been having issues with thinning and breakage for a couple of years now and it really does seem like I’ve tried almost everything. I kept my expectations low but since a lot of friends have used and liked Olaplex I decided that it would be worth it to try and so far it has been. Obviously it can’t cure thinning due to stress/genetics but the texture of my hair has approved tenfold since I started using the No 0, 3,4,and5. Since my hair is quite fine and thin I use the bond building treatment and hair perfecter 1-2 times a week for the past month. Honestly I am stunned at the results. Since it’s not a permanent fix but a treatment, you do have to continue using it. I did read somewhere that there’s no way for it to permanently fix your already damaged hair but ... MoreI’ve been having issues with thinning and breakage for a couple of years now and it really does seem like I’ve tried almost everything. I did read somewhere that there’s no way for it to permanently fix your already damaged hair but it can definitely treat it while the damage grows out. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, there’s no apparent residue, and it felt healthier and looked healthier after only the first try and has consistently improved since. I’ve tried so many products that just seem to sit on top of my hair and reflect light instead of actually improving anything texturally. I was also stunned at the quality of the product, not just in effect but a little really does go a long way in each one of my products. It smells and feels amazing. I could clearly go on. I’m just so pleasantly stunned! I had read some very negative reviews and was prepared to just take a chance and I’m thrilled and impressed with the results. It’s made me finally feel like I can get my hair back to something I love again.

The clarifying shampoo that really does it

I was so excited to try the new Olaplex No.4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo and was not disappointed! I start off by applying weekly in place of my regular shampoo to my wet hair at the scalp working to ends, working it into a lather, letting it sit for around 5 minutes to fully penetrate and process, rinse and follow with conditioner. This shampoo really does an amazing job clarifying my hair without leaving it feeling it dry like many others do because it is pH balanced. It removes buildup, damaging impurities, excess oil, pollution, heavy metals, and hard water minerals which basically covers so many things and what more could I personally ask for in a clarifying shampoo I ask myself? My hair honestly felt and looked dull in all ways and the texture you could tell had buildup and afterwards my hair was was soft, voluminous, shiny, renewed textured, and more vibrant color too which I honestly was surprised by! My hair is also wavy and my waves are more defined and just behave better and style better, I’m so happy! Im so happy and Olaplex does it does again with a amazing and superior product that does not disappoint but only surprise!

Worth a try!

I have used this a few times, and this is my in depth, honest review. I have fine curly hair, and have bleached/ balayaged my hair and use heat on it 2x a week. I use a decent amount of dry shampoo between washes and have tried a variety of clarifying shampoos to help remove build up. The first time I used it, I used it instead of my shampoo, like Olaplex has suggested, and I did not like that. After working it in and massaging my scalp for a minute, I felt like my hair became a big and tangled ball, it also felt like my hair got dry. It was a lot so hard to work in because it wasn’t sudsy. The next time I used it, I just incorporated it into my routine, I used it before my regular shampoo (I use hairitage by mindy) I also emulsified it in my hands before and that ... MoreI have used this a few times, and this is my in depth, honest review. The next time I used it, I just incorporated it into my routine, I used it before my regular shampoo (I use hairitage by mindy) I also emulsified it in my hands before and that helped give me a better lather, massaged it on my scalp for about a minute and let it sit for another minute or so, then I followed up with normal shampoo and a hydrating conditioner (which I normally do.) This helped a lot with the tangles and my hair didn’t feel dry after. I styled my hair like usual, and wow! I had more volume, my hair didn’t get greasy as fast and it didn’t feel as dry either. I definitely think this is “stronger” than the Ouai detox shampoo, and if you use this, make sure you use a hydrating conditioner (I use the banana one from briogeo) and you’ll like the results. Overall I’m pretty happy with it so far. Usually my hair gets reaaally greasy after 2 days, but I got an extra day when using this, which worked out because I didn’t need to use as much dry shampoo, which meant less build up for my next shower!

where have you been my

where have you been my entire life? I have very thick course hair and I love it long. I also have a lot of gray in my roots so it gets wiry, and lets not omit the part where I insist my hairstylist texturized and razors my hair (she fights me every single time) for layers and thinning purposes. It is literally a recipe for hair trauma. I have jumped from brand to brand....some inexpensive but mostly the most expensive trying every one that says "repair, hydrate, bonding". Lets not forget no one really likes first and second day hair so all the products I add to give me third day hair is also added into the mix. Long story short? This is the first time my hair is happy, shiny and NOT weighed down or fly away. I only wash my hair once a week so the clarifying shampoo ... Morewhere have you been my entire life? I will never ever use anything other than this shampoo set again. Well done!!!!
