I used the No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner from Olaplex in conjunction with the No. 4 shampoo. I have naturally dry and frizzy hair, and also heat-style it 1-2x per week with an air styler. As a result, my ends are pretty split and my hair looks noticeably dry and dull. While I do colour it every once in a while to cover greys, my roots show quite quickly and the invading grey makes my hair even drier. I tried this conditioner to see if it could help combat some of these issues. I found that it helped soften the look of my split ends so that they were no longer as noticeable. It also made my hair look fuller and gave it more movement, as opposed to before using this hair care routine, when I had either limp individual strands or a dry, straw-like mass. I also ... I also noticed that my hair didn’t react to humidity and moisture in quite the same way as before and managed to remain frizz-free for longer. I personally find the conditioner that I use is much more important than the shampoo for the purposes of how my hair actually looks and reacts to styling. This conditioner really helped my hair look its best, with a smooth, sleek finish with a hint of shine. I tend to use up conditioner at a much faster rate than shampoo, so this can become quite an expensive habit, but I’m planning to keep a bottle of this conditioner on hand for special events.

There was a great promotion going on at our local hair salon supplier store so I purchased both the shampoo and the conditioner from Olaplex in the salon size, which is 2000ml. The great news is that both products lasted me for over a year. Please note I am not a hair stylist, I purchased both for personal use. Now the bad news is, I was never impressed with these two products. I have colored hair and I just don't feel Olaplex in general ever improved my hair in any way, whatsoever. I am still happy to give Olaplex a second try if the brand will be coming out with new products in the future, but I am not a fan of their perfector, shampoo, and conditioner hence the 3-star rating.

Hello, I hope my review will be useful to you💕 So I bought Bond Maintenance Nº.4 Shampoo, it's $41 at Sephora for 250ml but I got it on 50% off for $20.50. The manufacturer claims that this is a highly concentrated restorative shampoo that moisturizes and nourishes hair. The shampoo is light in color, almost transparent. The consistency of the shampoo is very, very thick. This is the most economical shampoo I have tried. It takes literally a drop of product to make one foam. I wash my hair every other day, but even with such regular use, the shampoo is in no hurry to run out. The aroma is pleasant and cosmetic. But it’s difficult to single out any notes separately. There is a slight sweetness and citrus. Interesting, not trivial. . The foam is dense and pleasant to ... It does not cause irritation, which the manufacturer warns about in advance by adding pomegranate seed oil to the composition. The main ingredient is the patented formula Olaplex. This is what strengthens the hair, giving it strength. I have oily scalp, I wash my hair every other day. I generally avoid nourishing shampoos because... I don’t want to wash my hair in the morning and walk around with an unkempt head in the evening. But Olaplex shampoo somehow miraculously prolongs the freshness of hair. Perhaps due to the fact that it gently cleanses and does not provoke the active work of the sebaceous glands. With its help, I can wash my hair in the evening and walk out with clean hair the next day. But is it worth overpaying? In my opinion, no. I didn’t notice any hair restoration as such. I liked the shampoo. It makes your hair look much healthier and well-groomed. If you do not take into account its price, then this is a solid five.

I’ve been a hairstylist for over 40 years and have used so many hair products on myself and clients always looking for the best to use and recommend. I also have fine, curly, unruly, frizzy, color treated hair with dry ends no matter what I use. Quite frustrating, and I was excited when I was sent Olaplex No. 5 Leave-in Conditioner as part of a promotion in return for an honest review. I’m brutally honest and and have no problem leaving a poor review if the product is inferior to others on the market. I’ve used K-18 so was curious how it would compare. This Olaplex product can be used on any type of hair promising to moisturize and seal split ends while mending from cortex to cuticle. Additionally protecting from thermal hair tools.I have mid length fine hair so one pump was enough for me. The leave in conditioner is white in color, has a light pleasant scent, is medium to light in consistency, and spread nicely throughout my hair after shampooing and using a prior conditioner. Since I have curly hair I typically use a leave in conditioner, curl cream, defining gel or medium weight foam, and oil combination on wet hair to keep my hair from being totally wild. I used the No. 5 Leave in with Olaplex No. 10 Bond Shaper Curl Defying Gel and was quite pleased. I omitted two products and my hair looked hydrated and the curls were soft, defined, and not frizzy. So far I’m very impressed with Olaplex No.. 5 Leave-in and am going to continue to use this product. I do like K-18, but if I had to choose between the two I prefer Olaplex No.5 Leave-in. It’s a winner in my mind and can’t wait to use it on my clients!
I purchased this product and began using it two weeks ago, and my hair is falling out in clumps. I did a lot of research and eventually went with this product. I have mid-back length curly hair that isn't super sensitive. I reached out to Olaplex customer support, and they were a lot less than helpful. They tried to blame it on medical conditions (I have none), medications (I haven't started taking anything new, and none of my current ones have any side effects or complications relating to hair), skin conditions (again, I have none), etc. I have spoken to my hair stylist, primary doctor, and my dermatologist, and none of them have found any reason that my hair should be falling out. The only thing all three mentioned that could cause hair loss is switching hair care ... MoreI purchased this product and began using it two weeks ago, and my hair is falling out in clumps. The only thing all three mentioned that could cause hair loss is switching hair care routines, which is the only thing I have also done. Nothing--except the use of Olaplex products--in my life has changed that would account for my hair falling out. I have not changed/started medications, I have not been diagnosed with anything, I have no added stress in my life, my workout routine is the same, my eating habits are the same. This was the worst purchase I could have made.
I'm thoroughly impressed with the OLAPLEX No. 4 conditioner. My hair, which is typically straight (ranging from 1A to 1B when air-dried), has greatly benefited from this product. This was my first time trying it, and it has made a significant difference. My hair has suffered from heat and box dye damage, making it rough and brittle. However, after just one use, my hair felt cleaner, smoother, shinier, and significantly softer. I have very long hair and usually need to use a lot of conditioner, but with this one, a moderate amount is sufficient. It makes my hair feel much healthier and exceptionally clean. Additionally, my hair, which tends to get oily within a couple of days, now stays fresh for longer, as this conditioner helps regulate oil production. I typically ... The manufacturer says that this is a highly concentrated restorative conditioner that nourishes and moisturizes hair without causing weight. What is it really? Let's start with the fact that the consumption of conditioner is quite high, unlike shampoo of the same series. I have an oily scalp and very dry ends, the conditioner really nourishes and moisturizes my hair, I apply it for 5-7 minutes and only then rinse it off, this way you can achieve a better effect. Visually, the hair really looks better and seems more well-groomed and shiny, it seems to me that it works more for the visual effect, because I wash my hair every other day, and on the second day the hair is not so soft. Its texture is very thick, white, with a very pleasant, unobtrusive scent that lingers ... It works well in combination with shampoo, and is perfect for the summer when the hair especially needs nourishment. Will I buy it again? Maybe. But I'll take the full series to see how the entire line works in pairs.

Take this review for what it's worth: this is about *MY* hair - your mileage may vary.Does not live up to the hype or claims. Definitely not worth the price. Actually would not even use this (or the Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo) as "regular" shampoo/conditioner, even for a cheap price.Review:Difficult to distribute so have to use a lot more product than other conditioners for the same amount of hair. Most (but not all) conditioners also do double-duty as detanglers; this one most assuredly does not. In fact, it is difficult to even finger-comb through my hair with this product on (perhaps because of how difficult it is to distribute?). In fact, it is difficult to even finger-comb through my hair with this product on (perhaps because of how difficult it is to distribute?). I have used two litres each of this Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner and the Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and notice absolutely no difference. Granted, my hair is not easily prone to breakage, but there is some frizz from mid-length to ends (see "Context" below) and there has been no noticeable improvement in either the strength or appearance of my hair when using Olaplex products. (I tried several Olaplex products during the same time period and used them *exclusively* to control for other variables and objectively judge whether there were any benefits. There were not. During the trials of 2L each of Nº4. shampoo & Nº5. conditioner, I also used multiple containers of each of the following: Nº.0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment, Nº.3 Hair Perfector, Nº.6 Bond Smoother Leave-in Styling Treatment, Nº.7 Bonding Oil, Nº.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask, Nº.9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum, and the Volumizing Blow Dry Mist.)Context:My hair is very fine/thin but there is a LOT of it, about three times the average number of follicles (according to multiple hairdressers/stylists and one dermatologist) and takes about five hours to go from towel-dry to completely air-dry in ~60% humidity. It's about four inches past my shoulders and is largely straight with minimal natural body waves. It is not damaged but for a few years now it's been mildly frizzy from mid-length to ends. (Am in my early 50s and I, my GP, and hairdresser/stylist who is the same age as me, suspect it's probably hormonal.) Have tried numerous products to reduce the effect and smooth it out. Not found a solution yet. Not prone to breakage easily but will not hold an up-do when clean and dry because it's too slick; it has to be dirty or coated with dry shampoo and/or a sticky product first. But, bizarrely - and impossibly - if you so much as breathe on it the wrong way when it's dry, it will tie itself into knots. Literally tiny knots and no one ever believes me until they see it for themselves. Windy weather is painful to recover from if I wear it down and free-flowing. I have almost no grey hairs; my natural color ranges from medium-light to medium-dark brown hair. I get a professional cut with some lowlights plus a few highlights around my face done every 10-ish weeks. I wash and condition it almost every morning since just one night's sleep causes it to look greasy regardless of pillow type or covering. I blow dry about 75% of the time (with a Harry Josh dryer) but not all the way dry every time.

Olaplex No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner 2000 ml
Olaplex N ° 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner is the only professional conditioner capable of guaranteeing a reconstructing action on the hair. Repairs and moisturizes the hair without weighing it down. Olaplex N ° 5 is the conditioner thanks to which you can take care of the restructuring of your hair even at home, not only during treatments in the salon. The exclusive Olaplex professional products are able to reconnect the sulfur bridges (bisulfide bonds) broken inside the hair as a result of coloring, heat, continuous exposure to chemical substances and various mechanical stresses. Olaplex N ° 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner is a balm with an extremely compact consistency, comparable to an intensive treatment. Apply to damp, clean and towel-dried hair, massage over all lengths and leave for 2-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. For an even more intense molecular reconstruction, use it after Olaplex N ° 3 and after Olaplex N ° 4 Shampoo.
