Ive been using this product for years now. I love that its not sticky and easily absorbed by the skin. It has no scent and it’s in gel form. My skin has greatly improved in texture and elasticity. I have loved having this serum added into my nightly routine and am really noticing the positive effects of retinol on my skin. This serum a very nice texture and consistency and doesn’t feel overly oily like other retinol serums I have tried in the past. I have used Olay creams for 25 years, never a problem until I switched to this new retinol moisturizer. I applied every night for about a week with no issues until I applied sunscreen in the morning. My whole face was burning so I washed off the sunscreen thinking that was the colprit. Skin settled after 15 mins so thinking it was the sunscreen I continued using my Olay retinol nightly for about a week. Getting ready for a night out I applied a heavy long lasting foundation and again instantly the burning skin returns. I have been using this foundation for 10+ years so knew it wasn’t that and also I hadn’t used that sunscreen. A wrinkle reducer.

Ok so I watched the YouTube video to make sure I am using the product properly. I placed a few drops in the sides of the mouth sides of the eyes and on the forehead and temple. Use the product sparingly and be careful around the eyes. With finger tips gently massage the product in sweeping it all over face and down your neck line. At first I was doing it everyday but since I am new to using retinol I will do it just three times a week. It is very strong and make sure you use it at night before you go to bed. I notice my face was feeling a little sensitive so I am now only using it three times a week. I have not seen a remarkable improvement yet but I do notice my wrinkles around the mouth are less pronounced.

On its own, drier skin types may not find this serum hydrating enough and may need to layer it with a seperate hydrating serum or oil.This is definitely a stronger retinol serum, as the name suggests, and requires a more measured approach than some other over the counter retinols; building up use over time so the skin adapts without becoming irritated. Every two or three days at first would be a good rule of thumb!I found that my texture was improved when using this serum, and I look forward to seeing more results over time. I have been using the Olay Retinol 24 Max for three weeks now and I’m really liking it. I have been using it once a day putting it on after I wash my face of an evening. It has a nice texture that goes on smoothly and isn’t greasy, thick and doesn’t leave my face feeling wet. It doesn’t have any strong fragrances and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. I like the feeling of it on my face and will continue to add it to my daily face routine. My skin feels more hydrated than normal and I haven’t had any breakouts, dryness, redness etc since using it, often serum can irritate my sensitive skin. This is a thin, lightweight and milky retinol formula with absolutely no fragrance. I really loved the consistency of the formula. Once applied, it absorbed seamlessly into my skin. While I could see that it was definitely working and quite quickly at resurfacing my skin, I did not experience any of the usual irritation associated with retinol use as a side effect, and this is even when I was using it almost every night and even when paired with the Olay Retinol 24 Max Night Hydrating Moisturiser. I enjoyed using this serum and found it helped my skin feel and look fresh while using it.I used it in conjunction with the night cream, which I also really enjoyed.The serum doesn't really seem to have any scent to it, minimal if any. It applies really nicely, although I did find I needed to use more of this product than I've had to use with other serums previously.Not oily at all, I had no issues with acne while using it. I can sometimes find serums can cause small outbreaks of acne for me if I'm using them every night.
