I thought I would give this product a go when placing my last order along with a few other 'condiments'. I gave it a good shake, or at least thought I did and then proceeded to squeeze it out onto my plate only to find a long drip of discoloured water drip onto my plate. Once this mess was cleaned up I managed to get the 'actual' product out of the bottle and it was actually very tasty. Marking it down because of the initial drip and the presentation. It looks like baby mess.

I am a huge fan of guacamole and love to cook various Mexican dishes at home. Therefore, guacamole is a must for me. I tend to prepare guacamole from scratch with fresh avocados normally. But I decided to give Old El Paso a try as I was in a hurry one night for dinner. I really wasn't too impressed as nothing beats freshly made, authentic guacamole. The contents that exited the bottle tasted artificial and the consistency just wasn't very appetizing. I think I will stick to homemade guacamole from now on.

Bought this on a whim whilst getting tortillas, ready for fajitas. Shame I didn't walk back a few aisles to get fresh... It has a strong herbal/oniony taste, and a MASSIVE ingredient list! However, it's handy, and lasts longer than the fresh stuff, especially as my hubby can't stick his mucky fingers into the tub, lick them and go in again!! Best when partnered with other things, not so good as a star in its own right. But for a long-life product, it's not too bad - just don't expect it to be the same as fresh.

Having made my own guacamole which was a success time was in short supply to shop for all ingredients and make up again so went for Old El Paso brand for quickness along with the soured cream which wasn't great either. What an absolute mistake and one I won't make again. Tastes absolutely nothing like guacamole more like bile coloured curry flavoured mushy peas. So heavy on curry flavour I thought I'd picked up the wrong product. The best review anynof us gave was my wife who said it's not the best which speaks volumes. Needless to say I won't be buying the Old El Paso brand ever again.
Obviously it's not going to taste like fresh guacamole, like guac-a-moaners in the reviews. It's a great for a long shelf life product with flavour, slight kick and great for chip dipping and garnish.
This is nice and spicy but it's more like a green curry than guacamole. I can't taste any avocado at all just curry taste. Nice for dipping crisps in though . I'm glad I got it on special offer or I would have been disappointed
Bought this as an accompaniment to Chilli dish . Chose this specific brand as was on offer. Very disappointed with value and taste. Have had different guacamole products before this tasted like soap and was very unpalatable. Had to dispose of it as nobody would eat it .
This is absolutely fab to have in the fridge. Makes for quick and tasty guacamole without having to cut up avocados, season and mash. Tastes absolutely delicious!
I would say it's about .50p overpriced, but, it does pack a combination of flavours - not the usual bland guacamole.
I usually like El Paso products. Being a fan of the nachos kit, I thought of trying this guacamole but I was extremely unimpressed. You're better of with the Asda brand Guacamole from the fridge, tastes amazing compared to this one.
