Let me say, without a doubt, that this lippy is my top three favorite now. I use this in combination, with Philosophy's 4-in-1 Lip Serum, and my lips are absolutely luscious on the daily.I've found a good daily combo has been: Applying the 4-in-1 serum first, as it applies a nice plump to my lips, and this peptide treatment helps smooth in my lips, lock in moisture, and also apply a little plump. Don't expect a, "Too Faced Lip Injection Power Plumping" style plump from this product, you're getting a more natural looking accentuation to your pout, and honestly for a daily look? I prefer this over wearing Too Faced's on-the-daily.Also for those who live in drier environments, this works great! I live in Interior Alaska, and in the winter it gets dry and super cold, ... I have tried nearly everything and have been left disappointed by most other brands despite glowing reviews. The only thing that has been working somewhat is Tarte's maracuja line, but like most lip products if I don't reapply several times a day my lips get chapped again... and I'm a forgetful person lol. So far with this lip treatment I can apply it once and it lasts longer on the lips, but not in a way that's annoying or distracting, which I'm kind of picky about. It's lightweight and I can apply it once, yet my lips are soft many hours later.I actually tested out one of those Sacheu lip liners over my whole lip, put this lip treatment over it a an hour before bed, went to sleep, and woke up with the lip liner still on yet my lips are so soft. My only wish is that there were more pigmented shades, but I suppose I'd rather have the option to put it over other pigmented products than be forced to choose a highly pigmented color. I do hope they come out with shades that are similar to Tarte's Maracuja line, but I'm just glad I finally found a lip product that doesn't require several applications to keep my lips soft.As far as the smell, I am not the most sensitive to lip product fragrances, but there are brands people love that I can't stand to wear such as the Cover Girl glosses that are really popular right now or Milani's Fruit Fetish lip oil. I don't know if I picked the wrong shades, but they smell horrible to me and I didn't like their texture, either. This lip treatment in Strawberry Sorbet has a light pleasant smell, though, but I have no idea if the other shades are offputting at all.

This is just an odd product that really, really, really works. I've tried a ton of balms and lip oils, and my lips are still dry (sometimes dryer after using the product.) I love a lot of Ole products, but this is my first lip concoction I've used from them. The big thing, if you're scent-sensitive, is this just smells straight-out like motor oil to me. I don't know if it's different in other "flavors," but I tried this several times, and yep, I feel like I'm changing the oil on my car.But I'm also not an overly sensitive crybaby, and since I bought it, I figured I'd at least try it before I took it back. It's a nice color, not too-too, and the product isn't sticky, which is a nice find. I put it on at night and fell asleep with it on. I didn't roll over, so the ... I didn't roll over, so the product stayed on my lips and didn't smear anywhere. What's utterly fascinating is, I woke up, the product had all been absorbed with no hint of it on my lips. But oh, my lips! I have never, ever tried anything that worked so well! All hints of dryness and scaliness was completely gone! My lips were complete perfection, full and naturally "juicy", and I have never, ever had that happen with any product I've tried. So maybe it's me, and no one else smells the motor oil component of this. I don't care, I can take it, for the RESULT I get. It's really an exceptional product (but please, Ole, do try to at least make it not smell quite so much like I'm a mechanic!)

I am such a huge fan of the formulation of this lip balm, it does genuinely keep my lips hydrated for a super long time. I already have the Cocoa Crème flavour and was really excited to buy their new Crème Brûlée version because the smell sounded divine (other reviews seem to agree with this).I excitedly got it yesterday and upon first opening it, I can’t believe that this is the smell everyone is raving about :( It smells so plasticky and unlike any crème brûlée or vanilla dessert I’ve ever had. It’s a very potent smell, as well, but it does fade once you put it on so in that respect the lip balm is fine. I’m just so disappointed I’ve spent £17 on something I hate. It isn’t even that I just am not a fan of the smell - it invokes some sort of nauseous response ... My boyfriend thinks it smells wonderful, so it could just be my nose. Regardless, I do regret buying it and I think next time I’ll just stick to my favourite scent (and instead of ordering online, test it in store first!).
I've tried Dior and Merit lip oil; Fresh Sugar, Ilia, Naturium, and Jack Black lip balm; and Haus labs lip glaze, and this one from Ole Hendriken is my absolute favourite. The colour (blood orange) is sophisticated, not too sheer, not too in your face--basically the perfect balance for colour payoff for a tinted lip balm. The scent is divine. The texture is not too thin and not too thick and comfortable and non-sticky. It's glossy without being thick and gloopy. It's surprisingly long-lasting and provides outstanding hydration. I just hope they make Blood Orange permanent, and hopefully add some new shades. The only lip product I own that I love a little more is the Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy lip balm, but it costs $20 more and there's too little in the ... I’m actually surprised how much I like this balm. It really caught me off guard how good it is. I just wasn’t expecting to fall in love with it.I love the texture. It’s thicker than most balms on the market, but in a very lightweight way. Like it definitely feels more occlusive than most balms, but it doesn’t feel heavy like a lip mask in my opinion. I would say this is like in between Laneige Lip Glowy Balm (thinner) and Topicals Slick Salve (thicker). The performance of the Topicals Slick Salve with the slip and lightness of Laneige Lip Glowy Balm, if that makes sense. This is definitely not as sticky as Topicals. It’s actually quite similar to Rare Beauty’s Glossy Lip Balm. It has the same kind of slippery occlusive-ness without the heavy feeling.I know I ... I just wanted to give some frame of reference for what this product feels like and why I believe it is a new fave in comparison to those other products. I just really love the feel of this lip balm. I like that this is an actual balmy balm. It’s not oily, it doesn’t just sit on top, I feel it sealing in moisture and melting away/smoothing over my dry skin, all while still feeling lightweight for daytime use.The only downside is the price, it’s a bit much but I’d almost say it’s worth it. Personally, I definitely would repurchase, but I could understand if the price is scaring people away.
I wanted to love this product.I went to Sephora looking for a lip product. Initially, I was interested in something that had SPF to protect my lips, but decided I would buy something that would help rehydrate my lips, before purchasing and SPF product.I spotted the regular scented version of this lip treatment in the store and tried it on while there. It smelled divine and felt good on, but I decided I wanted to ordered the Lingonberry Jam to see if the tint looked good (they didn’t have the lingonberry to try at the store).I tried this product a few times before deciding it wasn’t for me.This product has a silicon-like applicator with a hole that the product squeezes up through.Even though it has a built in applicator, when I’m not sure I’m going to like ... Once the product wore off, my lips felt more dry than before I put it on.I know that consistently wearing products on your lips can make them dependent on it. But, I don’t wear lip products consistently for that reason.Since I bought this to help my lips, and it seemingly made them worse, I decided it wasn’t the product for me.
I am totally obsessed with this product. I bought this almost on a whim to use as a hydrating daily lip tint/gloss and it immediately exceeded all my expectations. Being this is actually a lip treatment she is thick and hydrating and leaves my lips so plump and juicy and I feel like over time it becomes a lasting plumpness even after the product wears off. The color actually shows up on my caramel skin and it lasts well, I find myself reapplying a lot less often than my fav lip gloss. I usually wear this with a lip liner and it gives the perfect rosy natural shade. I also use the clear one as an overnight mask and love. My only gripe it the lingonberry jam shade is limited edition and it’s become such a staple I hope they make it permanent. I’ve worn it almost every day since I got it. Okay I’m done lol. Wearing with a warm berry liner in the photo.
I really wanted to love this and will try to give it another shot in the future for the other shades but the original orange (the one I bought) IS NOT IT.First of all, if you're a woc the orange is not transparent on the lips. It leave a white sheer tint on your lips dulling the natural color and making them look gray. It makes your lips look really unflattering imo. The formula is also very thick so it can be easy for it to goop up on your lips and leave that weird white residue. Just be careful with the amount you put on. This also STINNGS on any broken skin on lips quite badly if theres any type of peeling which kinda defeats the whole purpose to me? For a peptide formula id like my lips to mot sting while repaired... These problems are not worth the price ... These problems are not worth the price tag.The only pros are that while it does sting badly when put on broken lips it did help my lips heal lol and I enjoyed the orange scent. I'll probably just go back to lanolips/summer fridays. Might come back to the other two shades in the future as the stinging and color change seems to be exclusive to the orange. Avoid the orange if you can!
I bought this product with the understanding that it would plump using hydration- not give me crazy noticeable results. The color imo is not like its shown on the models- to get that type of color you would have to use a lot- which brings me to my next gripe. It is so thick and tacky. The color also has an iridescence imo, which I’m not a fan of unless I’m expecting it. I’m a lip product girl, I don’t have fillers, but I like my lips. I’m in my mid 30’s and I’m looking for products to add “youthfulness”. I do not think thick formulas are the best approach to giving a full appearance. I now really appreciate the glossier balm dot com in the berry shade. It gives me exactly what I wanted- I had only been using it as my evening lip balm. I bought this product bcos I ... I bought this product bcos I wanted some “it girl” lip product for daily wear/carrying in my purse- but that’s all this is- looks and no substance. With how sticky this is you’re not gonna want to wear this outside when it’s windy this winter (unless you have a pixie). It’s not the worst- but this product should be 10 bucks and rather than be called a treatment- label it as a peptide lip gloss.
