Post op my best friend gained 6kg, but having started on the second bag we're starting to see his waistline again.He must be the fussiest dog on the planet when it comes to kibble, but he loves Purina Pro Plan OBM.I know that it's a bit more expensive than regular dog food, but if your dog is overweight don't let them struggle with it.

Our 13 year old Staffie has had your Purina Pro Plan for the last three years since she came to live with us, plus vegetables with it in the evening. She loves it and licks the bowl completely empty all round the kitchen! I think that will tell you what she thinks of your product better than I who has not as yet tasted it!

My Jack Russell was obese due to me getting him neutered and failing to control his diet. 3 months of this and a normal walking routine dropped 2kg wish was a remarkable difference in my dogs weight. He’s starting to look leaner and he got a lot more energy. The food is a bit bland so I spiced it up with a low salt chicken broth and he loves it.
This is the only dog food that helps my small dog loose weight. I have tried feeding her less normal food and other food balanced for weight but non work. She recently got down to her best weight and after 7 months on Purina OM and because she suffers with her annal glands, I put her back on a quality grain free food. Within 6 weeks she had put 75% of her weight back on. So back on Purina. I have marked the quality down by 1 only because a grain free diet product would really help my dog.
Currently Animed is selling this product cheaper than anywhere else .Product recommended by the vet for my elderly lab x collie who needs to lose weight before surgery .Weight loss has been slow and steady as vet wanted and my dog appears to enjoy eating the food .No problems and no unpleasant side effects for her so all very positive so far .
This was recommended for my dog by my vets when the poor fella was Obese, he is a Black Lab (and he used to fart a lot and people didn't want to look after him in their house). From the day after we started on this food, the farting IMMEDIATELY stopped and over the next 6 months he went from 46kg with joint issues to a 9 year old running around and playing like a puppy weighing in at 36kg and fitter than ever before. Our pedigree Cocker Spaniel Loves it and she has lost weight with it. Cant ask for a better product. We will be sticking with this food for her.
I wanted to write a review after seeing another review for this food. My dog has always tended to be a bit podgy and has also been prone to soft motions and anal gland trouble. My vet said that this food should help with all three problems but that I would have to be careful to measure out the correct amount and not give too much. Well in every way my Lab is doing very much better. His motions are all solid, he has no trouble with his anal glands and he is looking a much better shape. It is true that he is hungry all the time, but I suppose that is all part of losing weight. I am sure he is much more healthy and I think this is a great diet.
