I bought this because it had the same look as a Mistral one I got from the hardware store a year back. It works fine (so far) but it is appreciably louder. Maybe it's the fan propeller since all other aspects are the same as the Mistral version. Even on the lowest setting it's like a plane taking off.

A huge upgrade from my Dyson floor fan! This fan is far more powerful and much better suited to Queensland summers, even on the lowest setting!Looks great too, but is quite loud. I love white noise when I sleep so it's perfect for me, but it does sound like it's getting ready for takeoff on the highest setting so probably not best for light sleepers!

This fan was super easy to put together out of the box, is very sturdy, and looks great. The turn dial makes it extremely easy to use as well. It is a very powerful fan which is great to cool a small area. I would not recommend it for a bedroom at night though as it is quite loud.

Easy to assemble, looks great in the kitchen, provides strong airflow. Stainless steel construction. Could be noisy in closed in areas.
So powerful oh my God highly recommended love it also like that it stands high.
