I purchased this floor fan a month ago and am so happy with it. It is perfect for a small room, for when walking on the treadmill, and can easily moved from one place to another.

Pros: Fantastic fan! Great for when I'm cooking or washing up. My pups have also taken a liking to it. It's super strong and I use it almost everyday.Cons: Sometimes I do wish it would oscillate but I think it is amazing.

Pros: Really powerful airflow and really easy to adjust.Cons: Quite loud; limited speed settings
Can't stand AC/Coolers they make me sick with nd other fans barely circulate any air. BUT THIS FAN OMG ON SETTING 1 THE AIR IS AMAZING BLOWING AROUND AND SO COOLING. ON SETTING 3 IT'S BETTER THANANY AC AND THE STRENGTH OF IT PUSHES ALL THE HEAT OUT. LOVE IT!!
The power is great, the volume of air it moves is prodigious, it's reasonably quiet and I really, really, really like the semi-industrial build quality. The generally solid, all-metal build is definitely it's best feature. It's running really well at the moment and I love it.The case design for the switch (one of the few plastic bits), while it currently works perfectly fine, looks a little ad-hoc and fragile. I strongly suspect that this will be the most likely first point of failure in the future life of this appliance. If the switch had the same build quality as the rest of the fan then this machine would not be just good but amazingly, all-round awesome.
Fantastic fan really powerfull not very loud which is a plus really a great purchase
Not a long life span - Altise floor fan would not recommend
It just stopped working within 2yr of purchase. Several online reviews of this product also show the same fault. The motor sounds when turned on but blades fail to spin. Outside of this disastrous fault the fan worked so well when first purchased. Design flaws include annoying dial at back of fan to turn on/off and change speed as well as first click on the dial is fastest speed so having to click through a few times if using lower speed or medium speed (mostly use low/medium as fastest speed is extremely strong and not used as much). I also wonder if going from off to extreme speed to off is what is causing motor/rotary burnout/damage! It's fairly quiet compared to most fans but I haven't tried it on wood/tiled floors. Altise have a 2yr warranty on most/all their ... MoreIt just stopped working within 2yr of purchase. Several online reviews of this product also show the same fault. Having said all that I'm not sure if similar products last longer than 2yrs with the current "throw out" quality products these days.
Got the fan, and it did what it should, move air. Was not as 'high velocity' as expected, but still did the job. In about 2 months, it just died! Turn it on and nothing! Sadly I purchased 3 omega altise pedestal fans since. Customer service was great, had to send it back and they sent a new one fast! Left it sit since I had the other fans, then one of them died the same way too! Bought a dimplex fan as well and it is HIGH velocity and has not died yet. This time on the omega no send back option but they are arranging a service call to fix it... I wanted to pay more and swap it for another dimplex as I feel it will probably only die as well, with a 2 year warranty I expected way more from the omega altise fans. Now I just see it costing them a fortune in repair send ... MoreGot the fan, and it did what it should, move air. Was not as 'high velocity' as expected, but still did the job. Buy a Dimplex or other fan, anything other than omega altise!
