Omron 7 Series Wireless Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor Black

Must say I was really how accurate it was. I had taken this 7 Series Wireless Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor into my Dr office to see how accurate it was...They were within points of each other. So I feel very confident in this. I purchased the OMRON blood pressure wrist band monitor and I am very happy how easy it was from setup to use. Very simple to operate and understand. Very good quality so I’m a very satisfied customer. I ordered this wrist version because I had difficulty with the arm band style BP machine. I find it much easier to handle with my arthritic hands. I have been doing both to compare readings and the wrist machine is equal to the arm band reporting. Great choice on my part

A BP Monitor That I Can Use on My Own!

I have several doctors, all of whom take my blood pressure with each visit. My pulmonologist introduced me to the wrist cuff monitor and it seemed very simple. I mentioned this device to two other medical assistants who routinely measure my blood pressure with the old "squeeze it 'til it hurts" arm method and they claimed that the wrist cuff was not as accurate as the arm squeezer. I happened to have two appointments with two different doctors one hour apart. I tested my CVS cuff monitor against the arm monitor of my second appointment and the results were very close to similar. I recommend the cuff monitor for easeof se and accuracy for home use.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE

Seriously, do not buy this piece of trash! I thought I did a lot of research before buying this and, honestly, ended up relying on the brand name as a big part of my decision. I paid more based on that brand name. HUGE mistake! No matter what position I'm in, AFTER downloading/syncing, it says, heart zone error! Readings are all over the place... sitting in the same exact place! Garbage!! The app is ridiculous too. Unless you pay more money, you can't even edit/delete the bogus readings it gives you. Going forward, I don't care about the app that probably limits you anyway. I won't buy this brand again for sure! The app feature is useless if it doesn't even remotely measure BP accurately. In one setting, I was Low, Normal and High!

Delivery issue

The package was left between the two double doors at the front lobby entrance of a building with over 150 apartments in it. Not MY Apartment door. If you punch my apartment number into the door buzzer box my phone rings and I can let the person into the lobby, so that they can deposit the package in front of our mailboxes.Secondly, the shipping box was approximately 6 times the size of the blood pressure monitor that was in it with no packing. The corner of the top flap of the monitor box was crushed probably from bouncing around inside the bigger box.I have not set the new blood pressure cuff up yet so I don't know if it's been damaged.I could have sent photos, but my phone takes pictures that are larger than 5 MB.Those are two of the reasons why I hesitate to ... MoreThe package was left between the two double doors at the front lobby entrance of a building with over 150 apartments in it. Disappointed how awkward it is!

Monitoring my BP is important to me. Time came to replace the device used for 15 years and decided to get a known brand at mid-range price. Disappointment followed: the wrist wrap is very awkward to both tighten and position at the same time. If there is an unexpected reading I want to confirm by repeating the process…device, per instructions, will not immediately repeat a reading right away. Sure wish my old monitor had just kept going…or even wish I could have bought an identical new one! Easy to use, used whenever I chose!!! No hassles like this new one! Oh…I assume this is accurate, hence giving this many stars!

Great little BP monitor

So far I really like this Blood Pressure Monitor, I need to check my blood pressure everyday and this is small / compact, so it’s easy to travel with. Using the monitor with the app is easy and I like that you can add notes to each reading (I’m diabetic, so I add my blood sugar readings in my notes). I haven’t tried this yet, but looking forward to being able to export my results so I can provide to my doctor at my next appointment (should be easier and more detailed than trying to write down in a log book).The one thing I feel that is missing is a backlight on the monitor so you can view results in low light conditions. I’m sure this was done to save the batteries, but would be nice to have the option of turning on a backlight if you wanted to.All in all, I’m pretty pleased with the monitor and the associated app. Was easy to pack for a recent trip, especially with the included case. Just dropped it in a small bag with my diabetic supplies and medication organizers.

I used to love the Omron cuff I've owned for over 30 years and it saddens me to report that BP cuffs manufactured by Omron, once the platinum standard and #1 choice in personal BP machines, read inconsistently when readings are compared to BP readings Omron asked me to perform at my MD's office and the local Fire Department. As a result of this mis-readings, I've had to exchange my Omron wrist cuff several times. All I can say is, I thank my lucky stars that I I purchased my Omrons at Best Buy because of Best Buy's exchange policy. Thank you Best Buy! One feature I do like about the new Omrons is the Omron app! Just love how it graphs the readings, and related activities that might have occurred prior to a reading

I chose the OMRON 7 Series wireless wrist blood pressure monitor because I needed something simple to use and fairly accurate. This device surpassed all expectations. With the free downloadable app, I now monitor my blood pressure ups and downs and can share it with my medical team.I love the travel case that comes with because inside it shows a diagram of the correct cuff placement. But sometimes I find the clasp on the hard plastic travel case difficult to open.Inside the app I can see the log of my blood pressure readings. It shows a red error symbol if I had the wrong placement of the cuff in relation to my heart, or if I didn’t have the strap tight enough, as I tried to show in photos.I have had this monitor for a month now, and it’s been a game changer.

Simple and easy to use single user blood pressure wrist cuff. Surprisingly accurate as both systolic and diastolic levels were within two point of doctor measurements the old fashioned way with manual cuff, etc.; this is noted as doctor’s readings with auto arm machine on forearm were 10-25 points higher, which is why we went with the wrist cuff design. App is simple to download and use; syncs with wrist cuff to maintain a longer history (unit hold ~90 readings then drops old data, sync and all data retained. App provides good insight to reading, tips and trends, has a report feature, and more.

Instructions are poorly written. Warnings are extensive. Screen isn't backlit and has icons that aren't available on this basic model. Must be registered and account made to use the app. Scan code doesn't link to registration or app. Company is very invasive and shares personal info with 3rd parties. Product site lists my phone and tablet as incompatible to app, but Google Play listed as compatible. App is a battery drainer. As my first BP monitor, it works and was purchased as a quickly needed item. I'll replace it with a less information selling, power draining brand.
