Lovely design and build and it works well with the updated App. Although you can still take a single reading, it's not particularly useful without the App. The display on the device is a little tricky to read when on your arm and the bluetooth toggling on/off is tiresome - if using regularly, just leave it on. Can be used by multiple people, but the app will only record one person's data - you have to delete any interim people's readings to keep your data accurate.

The Omron Evolv is a nicely made and an easy to use blood pressure monitor. It seems to be less painful on the arm, for those with high blood pressure, than the conventional monitors. It seems to be accurate, but does not like any arm movement at all, when measuring the blood pressure - it will register an error code and the test will have to be repeated. I found this very annoying. This device would be totally unsuitable for anyone with arm tremors or could not sit very still while having the blood pressure test.

A LIFE SAVER

I purchased this about 5 or 6 weeks ago. I have high blood pressure so need to monitor it regularly. This model replaced the one that I had bought 7 years ago. About 4 weeks ago my wife (apparently perfectly fit and healthy at the time) was suffering from breathlessness so I tried to measure her BP using the Evolv. It kept giving an "Irregular heartbeat" error. I checked her pulse manually and it was indeed irregular. I took her straight up to A&E and now she is still in hospital waiting for a CRT-D pacemaker to be implanted. She has Dilated Cardiomyopathy. The doctors said that her heart could have stopped without warning at any time. THE EVOLV HAS SAVED MY WIFE'S LIFE.

BEWARE - Do not use "upgraded" Omron Connect app

I purchased this device many years ago and have been pleased with its performance. Use of the Omron Connect app provides a very useful way to record and display the measurements. The original app (up to v6,9.1) worked fine and displayed the results neatly. BEWARE - their much heralded "upgrade (v7) is a disaster! Great Quality Blood Preasure Monitor

I bought this item as whilst on holiday recently i found I had high blood pressure. I wanted a monitor that could connect to app to record my results. I installed the Omron connect App on my Galaxy S22 Ultra and was able to pair both with ease. The cuff is a bit small so if you have big arms this might not be for you but it fits comfortably and works a treat. The display is very clear and the results stay on the screen for you read then sync with the app. It comes in a small case and monitor itself looks very hi tech. Would certainly recommend

Great monitor, lousy software

The most fundamental part ie measuring blood pressure works brilliantly. Connection with the software in your smartphone is fair but it is in no way set up for more than one person to use. So, when I do my measurement in the morning the figures sometimes show up on my partners phone and the figures will then will not show up on my record without a lot of messing about! When viewing your figures on the phone the screen often freezes after looking at your graphs, that's a shame as they are great when they do work. Note that when looking at the month view the average shown is for that day, why isn't it for the month? Having said that, it's so easy to use this style of cuff without a tube to contend with, I think we'd certainly buy the same style again.

Omron Evolv

I bought the Omron Evolv to replace a standard BP monitor with cuff & tube which I felt was not now accurate. The Omron Evolv is accurate, easy to use, stylish, light weight & comes with a case. Easy to set up & install the Omron app & pair to your mobile device. The Omron Evolv app is very easy to use, clearly set out with different colours for Systolic, Diastolic & pulse so you can see at a glance the readings. Using the Omron Evolv is extremely easy. The cuff fits on your arm & inflates gently no more pain & having your arm crushed by the old style cuffs. All readings are transferred to your mobile for future reference & held on the device . Also BP results can be read in the form of a graph on the Omron app. I am very pleased with my Omron Evolv.

Smart combination

Very easy to use with the display on the cuff. It is a wireless blood pressure machine with Bluetooth pairing capabilities; smartphone compatible and I am using an Apple wristwatch series 8 and Apple iPhone 13 pro max. It is the best combination of a smart blood pressure monitor, smart watch and smart mobile phone. I am pleased.

Unusable after onlyt 18 months

Bought on January 2019 and the device has been used weekly for 18 months then it refused to register. Every time it is used it shows E4 (movement during test) however it never showed this when testing for the initial 18 months. If it does take a reading then if a second reading is attepted it will only show E4. Its uselessness is the major cause of a rise in blood pressure. After paying £80+ to Omron less than 2 years ago I have now had to purchase a replacement unit obviously not Omron. I guess Omron have set the unit to fail after so many tests in order to try and boost sales. The EVOLV is has a veryshort live and should be avoided.

easy to use

I would recommend this OMRON Evolve to people that want an easy way of monitoring the blood pressure at home. The logs can be exported in excel and shared with a doctor if needed. I like the fact that the arm cuff and measuring device is integrated and can be used with one hand. The app allows you not to upload your data to the cloud but you can share data with the Apple Health app if you want (you decide).
