This device is so portable. The one I have is a wrist monitor. The illustration here does not accurately portray the device I purchased . I have both . The wrist one is so easy to use, small, good for travelling and does all the bigger one does. I would thoroughly recommend it. And maybe Discount chemist could amend the photo for true representation. BP is the ‘silent killer’. This device can protect you. We are responsible for our own health . This is a great aid for that purpose.

I have recently purchased this blood pressure machine. It’s a great comfort when unwell to check my pressure, especially if feeling dizzy. I would recommend this product but it’s no substitute for a GP visit. It’s only a backup.

So I bought Omron HEM7121 Standard blood pressure monitor. I rarely see a doctor but I thought I had a bit of a high BP so by monitoring it I could control it by diet etc. However now I have the new monitor it seems I had nothing to worry about as on a recent, 1st in about a year, visit to the doctor it confirmed the Omrons' ability as the doc gave me a clean bill of health on the BP front. This product is great for monitoring BP at home. Hubby has been able to keep a close eye on his recent fluctuating BP. Readings from this unit are quite accurate when compared to the readings from the GP & Pharmacy.
Excellent product and very easy to use. I bought this particular one as it’s the same one that my doctor uses. I also bought the bag to keep it in however the tube and pump don’t fit in it which i think is a bad move especially as the bag is bought separately….I feel that should be stated on the product (bag). That’s why I gave the product 4 stars..
I received the unit very promptly and communication has been excellent, even on a Sunday! Please be aware though, the "Complimentary" power adapter that is provided is unable to be used in Australia, due to the overseas plug. You have to purchase an outbound travel plug or an Australian power adapter. It isn't clear on the add that it isn't an Aussie plug, with Australia Post logo and the address being Melb, I didn't check to see if it was Australian compatible. Lesson learnt for future online purchases.
