Omron HEM7600T Smart Elite Blood Pressure Monitor

We need to check BP though my wife was set on a wrist type. I researched the wifi model and its proved to be every bit as good as I hoped. Ease of use, easy to read, compact without annoying connections that shift and leak on other models. I haven't had one failure in reading and that makes me feel confident. We have collected data on iPhone, it appears to be a powerful addition, though we haven't analysed them yet. One small issue that could I think be configured by programming update ... it only collects data from one person. That doesn't really impact on its usefulness for me.

Our old, old Omron A1 was way over the recommended check and recalibration period … readings appeared about where they should be, but … who knows. Get a new one, compare the old and new readings. That new (ish) 7600T looks ‘spiffy’, good (but few) reviews. New toy arrives. Awkward to position and tighten cuff, nothing to ‘pull’ against. Hard to read display ‘in position’, too close to the end of my nose, aging eyes. Off the arm the display is tiny compared to old A1 … display shines through a trendy shiny black (rather than clear) acrylic window … almost impossible to see in direct sunlight. No storage bag or case to keep the dust off, not even the cardboard ‘Pringles’ tube shown by some vendors … just the ‘shop shelf’ cardboard box. Application appears to have possibilities … but it’s available with other Omron BP models … and with enhanced features such as ‘multi user’. ‘New toy’ pressure readings are within one digit of vintage, old A1. Early days, but I suspect this will go back into its box and be pulled out occasionally to check our old A1 is still (as ever) behaving itself. Overall? Usual (nice) Omron build quality, usual (I suspect) Omron quality ‘inside’. But wrong choice for me/us … should have gone for the 7080T.

Has been an excellent device to monitor and track blood pressure trends over the last 3 weeks of use.+ all-in-one device+ appears to be accurate+ pairs to apple health- device screen hard to read when wearing- not rechargeable

Bought this unit after reviewing other models within the Omron range, and bang for the buck this is rated highly. Out of the box it works straight away, just install the batteries (supplied) and away you go.I also added the Omron App, and that was a bit annoying but works fine once you go through a signup procedure. The unit works effectively and quickly and is surprisingly quiet.One thing to note, it is important to follow the instructions for HOW to take measurements, the instructions are clear and accurate and the same as what my GP said, it's really important to be rested, NOT have coffee or stimulants beforehand and the seating position is important also.Highly recommended, just wish Omron would update their app a bit :)

A bit slow but very well designed, excellent app.

Compact, lightweight and elegantly designed, this BP measurement device does away with the bulky screen and pump and is all contained within the cuff. Writing is small but not tiny, the app works very well to automatically import data to my phone and other apps. The pump takes longer to inflate than a normal cuff but not so long that it becomes annoying. I keep in my office as it is small and elegant, but I use a bigger, faster machine for more regular measurements in my bedroom. I have three Omron products connected with my app and they all work perfectly. Highly recommended!

Convenient and easy to use

I have had this blood pressure monitor for about a week and am really happy with it so far. Easy to use. Could be improved if it came with a storage pouch/cover considering the price of item. App is good, although still learning to use the BP diary feature. I havent tested it against my doctor’s bp monitor so unsure if accuracy is right, but seems like it would be very close to accurate.

Convenient, but cannot set up two different users

This product is good, convenient size, fewer cuff errors than on traditional BP machines and easy electronic logging of results. However, I thought we could set up two different users. Unfortunately this doesn’t work and it combines readings into one log. Delivery was slower than expected.

Doesn't connect via bluetooth

IT doesn't PAIR and will not connect. Don't rely on the Apple Health Kit for data storage ( not Apple's fault).CommentIt seems the OMRON product team outsourced the development and maintenance of the applications to a third party who only do what they get paid for and OMRON are not paying because they are not charging enough on their end to pay for the app team. I'd even pay for that!

Quick and Easy Home Blood Pressure Monitoring

A very accurate and convenient way to measure my blood pressure at home. Everything is contained within the unit with no leads to a desktop monitor. Recording go straight to your smart phone. The unit is portable and should be purchased with the optional storage case as it doesn't come with a dedicated storage case.Once set up on Bluetooth it syncs your reading with the Omron app on your smartphone which can be easily accessed for your doctor's appointments. The only drawback with this machine is that the Bluetooth connection can drop out randomly but it it only takes a few seconds to reestablish, otherwise I would rate it at 5 stars.

Reliable and easy to use

Easy to use & reliable bp monitor. The app connect is easy to setup too. Having the diary in the app allows us to see a monthly view.Love that the monitor & cuff are integrated. Would be perfect if there's a storage bag provided.
