Durability lacking
Really liked these shoes. They were comfortable, stylish and easy to slip on and off with the speed lace system. Durability is lacking. Within 3 months of wearing around the house and running errands the tread wear was noticeable. Within 6 months the sides of the mesh are tearing where it meets the sole on both shoes. Rest of the shoes looks in new condition except for these flaws. For a shoes that wasn’t used for exercise, long walks, running, yard work they wore down very fast. My last pair of Adidas gym shoes lasted almost 2 years under the same function and for the price of the On Cloud 5’s I would have expected more than a few months out of them.... Show more

I’m in love with these sneakers
I cannot begin to describe how comfortable these sneakers are. I was hesitant at first because you don’t tie them. What if they’re too loose? What if they’re too tight? Let me just say they are absolutely the perfect fit! OC got it right. I walk for exercise about 15,000 steps a day, either outside on pavement or inside on the treadmill and these sneakers get the job done no matter where I choose to workout. They are supportive but not stilff They don’t have the big, chunky bottom like some sneakers and are so lightweight it’s insane. I love how they look with jeans too! I am hooked on these sneakers and will definitely be buying another pair.... Show more

On cloud 5 are super cute and classic
I received them today and have tried this very pair on several times and can’t for the life of me understand why people keep saying they run large. They definitely don’t. For reference, I wear a size 7 in Nike running shoes and a 6.5 in adidas running shoes. I had to get a 7.5 in the on cloud 5. It took me so long to order because I wanted to be absolutely sure so I went to rei and Nordstrom to try them on since I don’t have a Bloomingdale here. In the 7, my toe was at the very very top touching. I like my shoes just right with just a tiny bit of room so I can run if need be. The 7.5 fits just right. I don’t like roomy shoes either so this helps put into perspective how this shoe fits. I have narrow feet and am very petite, to also paint another picture. My only ... Overpriced for the quality
I purchased these as slip on walking shoes. I do think they run true to size and I would describe them as good for narrow to average width, if you consider your feet wide then you’ll most likely find these to be tight. I replaced the insoles with superfeet insoles which make them a lot more comfortable (I always prefer nice insoles over whatever standard ones come with athletic & hiking shoes/boots). I’m giving two stars for the style & fit, but they definitely are not high quality materials to warrant the $140-150 price tag. I’ve worn them for a month averaging 4 miles a day on concrete roads/sidewalks and they’re already showing signs of wear that I’d expect after 3 months. Another annoying aspect of these shoes is they love to trap rocks in the grooves. It ... MoreI purchased these as slip on walking shoes. Perfect for 12 hour shift
I took a chance after comparing these to Hokas and other shoes that nurses said would be good. I wore these out of the box to a 12 hour nursing shift where I walk over 18,000 steps in that time frame. My feet didn’t get any blisters and didn’t hurt at all. My toes also were not numb. I highly recommend these! A patient had bodily fluid that fell on the top of the left foot of these though but I used oxi clean to clean it off and let it air dry after washing it in a sink. The color is beautiful and honestly I will buy more and just wear them to other things other than my job. I did purchase a half size bigger because I wear compression socks when working. If you wear thin socks it’s true to size.... Show more

Perfect Shoe But Your Feet Will Freeze
I love this shoe! I usually wear 7 1/2 or 8 depending on the style of the shoe. I purchased this one in an 8.The 7 1/2 felt a little tight across my foot, and I have a slim foot. This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever purchased in my life. I had ankle surgery. This shoe is light and sturdy enough to not cause too much movement of my ankle like soft cushioned shoes, but it is not hard so it doesn't cause the bottom of my feet to hurt. Perfect! I will be purchasing them in more colors. The ONLY negative comment I have about this shoe is that the material is so thin. I wore them on a cold day (40 degrees) and my feet felt like I had no shoes on. My feet were freezing. The wind just blew right through these shoes. It would be great if they could make them with ... SIZE UP FOR COMFORT
This is my second pair of On Clouds. I love that it is lightweight and breathable. I can wear these shoes all day and be as comfortable at midnight as I am when just starting the day. ( Think day at Disneyland) The downside is that these shoes run at least a size smaller and narrower than usual. I recommend always trying on in-store as different styles fit differently. If ordering online order several sizes to ensure you get the right size. I'm not fond that because they run small, I must purchase a men's shoe to get a proper fit. I typically am a women's size 11M with no issue. In an On cloud, I have to purchase a men's 9.5M for a proper fit. I remove the elastic laces and use the addition shoe laces to get the best fit. I mentioned this to the sales associated ... MoreThis is my second pair of On Clouds. I love that it is lightweight and breathable. Swiss Engineering did not hold up, at all.
I bought these shoes due to all the hype and talk about their comfort. It was mostly true, they were comfortable but not $150 worth of comfortable. Prior to that I had been wearing a two year old pair of Reebok sneakers that I paid $75 for that were more comfortable and still look better than these shoes that I purchased almost four months ago. I wear them to walk my 13 year old lab (, i.e. NOT fast, at all) and to work in an office. I take them off once I'm home and repeat almost daily. On occasion I have to wear dress shoes but for the most part, I wear these. Not anymore. They are literally, falling apart. As you can see from the picture, they're not even fully laced, which gives the material plenty of room to expand and flex. DIn't matter. I am beyond ... I am beyond disappointed with the quality and lack of durability, especially since I wear these while walking my old slow dog then to my car, a few steps through a parking garage and into a carpeted office. I'm not hiking in them, running or doing anything strenous. Just walking. And this is the result after four months! Granted, I'm a heavy guy at 225 lbs but come on! I cannot and do not recommend these shoes. Maybe a different model will last longer but at the prices they sell for, I'm not taking the risk.... Show more

Used to love OC shoes but not these
I bought the first pair of OC shoes I ever tried on several years ago. Have been convincing people to try them since then. I bought these in an effort to match the pair I used for many miles, and loved. I hate to say it but something has happened to OC, they've gone the way of fashion/ lifestyle shoes to the point that these shoes resembled nothing of my old pair. There is zero arch support, lateral stability, or attention to the tiny quality details that this "Swiss-engineered" brand claims. I tried on almost every pair of OC shoes available at Dick's, and the massive soles with zero lateral stability were concerning. Just disappointed they lost the best part of their brand so quickly.... Show more

WOW! WOW! WOW!
I absolutely love these sneakers! I am a self proclaimed sneaker snob, buying several pair and returning a good majority of them. I will not be returning these sneakers. Pros – they are incredibly lightweight but offer the right amount of support to walk or run in them, they do not have the bulky heel like a good majority of brands out there now, the laces are tight enough to provide the right amount of support, but not too tight, they come in a variety of colors, did I mention they are incredibly lightweight? I have worn these all day and my feet still felt amazing when I took them off at night. Do yourself a favor go buy a pair of these sneakers! You will not regret it!... Show more
