Comfortable shoe with a couple of issues

Comfortable shoe, but tongue could be a little longer. Hard to snug up. Shoe is a little bit unstable due to height of sole in the heel area. I purchased theses shoes as I suffer from neuropathy and edema and needed a wider shoe. These work. If I had bought these shoes for running, I would be disappointed.

I’m far from an avid runner but getting back into it. Past shoes I used for running were Nike, Brooks, and recently Hoka. The Brooks were like concrete blocks on my feet, Nike never fit my foot right and my Hoka were for trail running. After reading about the stability on these shoes I couldn’t pass them up. I have about 16 miles on them so far and I can tell a huge difference from my Nike/Brooks. They roll nice from heel to toe, have great stability, not super soft on the sole so good feedback, and the upper is nice and toasty yet breathable. Only downside is they are heavy but definitely not the heaviest shoe out there. If you are starting back up in running or a beginner I would recommend this shoe.

The on cloud go is super comfy and not as firm as previous models. I personally didn’t mind the firmness of the other models but that’s been a common complaint by reviewers. These fit me true to size and were comfy out of the box. My only complaint is the strange color pattern. To me, the pattern makes the shoe look more like a hiking shoe than a running shoe. I wish On would venture into vibrant, fun colors! I personally rate these shoes a 5 for their comfort and performance but overall 4 due to the color choices.

Impressed Newbie

First time trying on and purchasing this brand. Had tried purchasing competitor brands and nothing compares. These are lighter and comfier. I had size up. Normally a size 11, but I went with a 11 1/2. Best shoe decision ever. Will have to come back to purchase more colors.

On Cloudgo Review
6 March 2024

I love the comfort and texture of the On Cloudgo shoe, but the heel width poses an issue. Consequently, my heel tends to slip while walking in them. To avoid potential blisters during extended walks, I've resorted to applying a bandage on my heel. I anticipate that the inner heel may wear out before the overall shoe starts to deteriorate.

One of my favorite shoes... Ever! - Please make more Wide styles and colors.
28 June 2023

I bought a 10.5 Men's Wide direct from ONs website. Arrived fairly quick, and were extremely uncomfortable. Processed an exchange for the next half size up, changed my mind and called to have it refunded. They said they were going to, but ended up sending a size 11 Wide. I'm glad I didn't send it back, because it's my favorite shoe. I don't run much mostly just walking.I usually use New Balance, but have also tried out plenty of other shoes... I'm limited being a wide foot, but the quality and comfort on these far surpasses Asics, Nike etc...Only CON is the price, Is it worth $150? No, for that price they should be made in the USA.Is it a nice, well designed shoe? Absolutely!ON, if you're reading these; Make a 4E, make more styles and colors for wide feet ... MoreI bought a 10.5 Men's Wide direct from ONs website. POOR QUALITY/DURABILITY
8 June 2023

Upper tore after less than 60 miles of road running. The quality and durability is lacking. The black color started to fade to a reddish/brown. The support seemed to give an uneven ride with a much softer support through the arch than the outside of the shoe , imo. For context, I have put a few hundred miles on similar min-mid cushion, neutral, ~10mm dropped shoes.Avoid buying without testing first. Buy from a place with a generous return policy in case the quality misses the mark like my pair did.

Shoes are right ON, with an important exception
29 July 2023

I have purchased four On Cloud 5 shoes and they are wonderful on my daily five-mile walks on the boardwalk in Huntington Beach. Love the comfort, love the style, love the weight.Problem is, each lasted three to five months before the mesh material shredded and my small toes stuck out in the wind. Granted, I walk 100 miles a month, so we're talking 300 to 500 miles, but it's usually the bottom of the shoe that should wear out.I gave up on the Cloud 5 and went with the Cloud Go because it seemed to have a heavier mesh. It's been two weeks and there is a separation between the mesh and the rubber-like material in the toes. Two weeks! And I have no option - even as a Road Runner member - because I got the shoes as exchange for just-less-than-three-month-old Cloud 5 shoes.

THE BEST SHOE EVER
18 September 2023

I bought these shoes after hearing about them from my sister, and at first I didn’t think I would be able to find a pair because of my wide feet. Thankfully CLOUDGO has a WIDE option! Yesterday I tried them out, and after being on my feet all day I was absolutely AMAZED at the quality. I was in a motorcycle accident about a month ago and I fractured my vertebrae. Usually my back would be killing me after being on my feet 15 min. but I had zero pain all day!!! in fact my feet didn’t even hurt till that eve when I sat down.I am hooked!!! MY ONLY suggestion is please make more options in the WIDE available.

Very comfortable
1 May 2024

These shoes are lightweight, but provide great support! I’m 27 weeks pregnant and was staying to have issues with my feet hurting. I started wearing these and my feet don’t hurt anymore. I feel that the shoes are true to size. I wear an 8.5/9 in sneakers and I went with a 9 in these shoes.
