This is my first purchase of this brand. Usually, I stick with Adidas or Columbia Sportswear. I purchase these shoes for my vacation to London, Paris and Amsterdam in May 2023. My Samsung Gear 4 watch recorded 88 miles of walking 180K steps in 13 days on our journey of Trains, Planes and sightseeing. Everything is great with these shoes. Great foot support, lightweight, great arch support, wide footprint to avoid twisting of your ankle and they stay cool in temperature not to mention they also look great with shorts or pants. My color is white & black. Very pleased with this purchase and encourage my wife to try this shoe.

I bought this four days ago and it’s not the shoe for me. It is supportive, although I needed to purchase a different insole to customize the fit. It lacks the power to easily propel you in a faster more cushioned and seemingly efficient way. It made me work harder for a slower pace than my Saucony Speed 3 out of the box. However for treadmill runs and cross training it is adequate. Certainly none of the bounce that I need to get me through even a 10k run without my legs feeling like I had run twice that distance.

Excellent cushion through the heel; does indeed feel more cushion than other shoes! Sparse through the toes and forefoot. This shoe was perfect for me as a narrow foot person who wanted lots of heel and mid-foot cushion for standing at work all day. My heels feel much better and I can shift my weight a little and feel the cushion massage. I think with my running stance landing more on the front of the foot, I would want more cushion there (if I was to wear these running). For trail running in particular, I would want a stiffer sole and more insulation at the front.

Very stable platform without forcing your feet to align a certain way like the other stability shoes. It's protective from all sides and the tongue is thick. I feel the weight of them but for a slow to medium pace they are great and for short accelerations during HIIT sessions I didn't notice that I am slower in them. Probably too heavy for fast pace long distance runs.It fits my style of training - slow/medium pace 5 mile runs and short distance accelerations. Excellent fit and comfort was the main reason for purchasing them but if most shoes fit you well and your feet don't hurt then you should buy a lighter pair.
I have wide feet. Usually an 8 but 8.5 for on cloud. Bought in wide and it is comfortable! Provides enough cushion for my flat feet. With thicker socks, I can see it being a little snug even for a wide but I just loosened the strings and it stretches. I got the all white one, can see the issue with the creasing already happening but so glad for wide shoes that are stylish!
I've bought these same shoes 3 times over the last couple years and they've never failed me. I have a narrower foot but painful bunions on both big toes. This is the only shoe I've found that provides stability through the foot and width in the toes. The only issue is some rocks can get stuck in the bottom of the shoe. I usually use these for 6-10 mile runs, 10k races and ragnars.
I bought these for work where I typically walk around 7miles/25k steps a day in (according to my phone) a day in. The first few hours of breaking them was okay, the discomfort was minimal but by the end of the night I was impressed. I felt like I could go another 10,000 steps in them. The usual heel pain I’d have at the end of the night is gone with these. They’re very cushiony and work well with mid-high arches. Standing up was nice too and I didn’t feel like dragging my feet or sitting down. As far as sizing goes, I went up to a size 7.5 instead of my usual size 7 as they run small. As far as appearance goes, the mesh on the toebox will show your socks pretty good lol so don’t wear any scandalous ones. There’s also reflective font on the shoes which comes in handy ... I loved these shoes, but as others have said- they started to tear and create holes after 5 months of use. I wear these as daily work shoes, and found they were nice for all day use. But at the same time, what's the point if they're literally falling apart? I returned them and the cashier had states they've been getting so many returns, and told me to avoid rebuying them at all costs
I’m not a sporty shoe person but wanted to start walking for extra exercise. These shoes are so comfortable. The name is appropriate bc I feel like I’m walking on a cloud! I want another pair right away. Best shoe!!
I bought this shoes about a month ago and have bought other On shoes from REI or On Running’s own web site. I walk outside for exercise and walk indoors for work on average I walk about 12500 steps a day. I try to have couple different pairs so that I don’t wear out one shoes and compress the soles completely if I wear one pair of shoes but On’s are so comfortable that I wear them out. For the money it is expensive I try to buy them on sale. Only model that I punched a hole in it was the cloud monster 1st gen but wear out mark on the bottom of the soles wore pretty much gone at that point. Brooks and On are my go to for now I tried Altra they don’t last that long and Nikes hurt my feet. I would buy On again.
