Almost perfect
Fit was perfect since I 1/2 sized up as suggested. My foot is slightly wide which can usually be remedied by skipping some lace holes towards the forefoot. No need for any skipping of lace holes with this trail runner! Reason for 4/5 star is secondary to the back heel of this shoe. It's slightly higher than I'd like so it did create uncomfortable friction along my Achilles. I just need to remember to use ankle height socks to prevent such discomfort. Will be keeping this item!... Show more

Excellent trail shoe
I'm loving these shoes and would definitely purchase other On Clouds. They are comfortable, with good support and excellent grip. I am not a trail runner, but I wanted something for light to moderate hiking that would be lightweight, waterproof and flexible. These are exactly what I was looking for. True to size.... Show more

Fit is different than previous version
I have worn the Cloudventure WP 2.0 shoe for 2 years, which were the best trail running shoe I've ever worn. When they started to fall apart, I bought these new v3's. The build quality looks better, and sole construction is a significant improvement, BUT the fit is so different that I get horrible arch pain within the first mile of my runs. The midfoot and arch area seems have a narrower fit than the previous version. No good for me, need to keep looking for a different shoe.If you are upgrading from the 2.0's, I recommend trying these inside on a treadmill for a few runs to make sure the fit is still right for your feet!... I SO wish these worked for me...
I love this brand SO much. I actually own two early styles (sorry, I don't know the names), but the LOOK of them caught my eye immediately and I ordered them from another vendor a few years ago. Sadly, they sit in my closet because I have several foot issues (among them arthritis, neuropathy & plantar fasciitis. Initially they felt OK but because they're just not wide enough in the toe box. I was SO hoping this one would work, I LOVED the colors ('ruby). This particular pair was cut SO small, I couldn't even get my foot into it! (OH and I did go up a full size!) So SADLY, they went back. I hope SOMEone bought them 'cause they are just the epitome of *cool*. O.N.--PLEASE if you're listening (or actually reading), please, PLEEEASE make these beauties in WIDE WIDTHS! ... MoreI love this brand SO much. I wanted to love these shoes
I bought these shoes on a recommendation of a friend who is a runner. I need a pair of waterproof shoes that would be comfortable to hike and tour Peru and Columbia and I needed to pack lightly so I was looking for a double duty shoe. I ordered these in the pink (cute color not obnoxious) in a 9.5 which is my usual size for adidas, hokas. I took them to a trip to Disneyworld to break them in and it rained while I was there. I only brought these shoes and flip flops and my feet were killing me!! For these shoes, especially if you are wide foot, go up a whole size. I’m not sure that’s true for all the on cloud shoes. I’m looking at the Cloud swift and it doesn’t look like I need to size up. These shoes just have a very rigid material for waterproofing. Similar to ... I wear these these everywhere.
I have too many pairs of shoes. Let’s be honest, how many of you can say the same? I finally cleaned out multiple pairs that I’d been hanging on to, thinking I’d wear someday. I know I won’t wear them now, because I wear these everywhere. They are waterproof as advertised. Style matches my “leisure athlete” attire or when I add a little bit of leather grunge to my Lulus. Held up well after 9 months of constant wear in a variety of climates. Now that I’m done fawning over them, the bad….rocks get randomly stuck in the deep tread.... Show more

love...but my pair arrived flawed
Ordered my 8.5 normal size and fit like a glove on the left foot. Tried right and it felt more snug across the top of foot. I also noticed the layer of Grtex was rippled there. See photo. I am sending back with the hopes there is another one in that size. These were drop shipped and didnt come directly from RR.LOVE these shoes. Substantial and supportive for wintry wet mix. I also have the ON regular slip ons in 8.5 in 2 colors. ( I also tried them in the GT model but they ran 1/2 size big and made a weird tissue paper sound when walking) Its a trade off for me. Ease of slip on vs more stability in the CloudVentures.... Show more

Not my best pair
I currently own nine pair of on cloud tennis shoes. These shoes are indeed, waterproof, and fit similar to my other tennis shoes except the strings are too thin and I have difficulty getting them tight enough. The sizing is not quite the same. When I wear my no show socks they seen a bit short. Need to go up half a size.... Show more

Slim Foot and Size Up
Size up! I'm a 7.5 and an 8 was almost too small. The sides are very stout and shoe is heavy. I'm not a trail-runner, so I will assume this is normal in a trail-running shoe. Even so, I find the shoe comfortable for everyday wear. If your foot is a bit on the wide side... I wouldn't recommend this shoe unless it comes in a wide. It is very tight around your feet (very much fits like a glove) with a relatively normal sock. I kind of like the snugness, but some may be a bit more uncomfortable with it. I have never before owned a pair of shoes so snug as these, but still comfortable. Also, you may want to consider going up a whole size instead of just a half size with this shoe. I also got the On Women's Cloud walking shoe in the same order. It is not nearly as snug or ... MoreSize up! I'm a 7.5 and an 8 was almost too small. The sides are very stout and shoe is heavy. It is not nearly as snug or heavy and a half size up will be appropriate. I will say that neither shoe feels like you are walking on a cloud. This trail-runner is like walking on...a very hard temperpedic material. It will keep your feet quite stable on the trail (I believe) and avoiding too many stone bruises on the bottom of your feet. But again... I'm not a trail-runner.... Show more

Unsure of quality
Wife works at a Florida youth camp with sandy, generally flat, ground. Purchased these in late October 2021 and by the end of January, the plastic sides of the toe box have separated from the cloth toe cover. She chooses shoes that specifically state they are waterproof as Florida does get a lot of rain and she will be outside for a good amount of the rain. She enjoys the shoes, and this pair could be an isolated malfunction. This is her first pair and after about 4 months of regular wear the bottom tread still looks good, but the sides are the main issue. It is recommended for the Waterproof shoes to go one size up from normal pairs, which is what we did and they do fit a little snug on the sides but are not uncomfortable....
