bungy cord laces and it helped a little but not enough. Also they smelled horrible right out of the box, I had to leave them outside for close to week before it was weak enough

walking the dog and they offered no support so running was out of the question pretty quickly. They're fine if you like the look and do not exercise in them but if you're looking
for a good running/exercising sneaker, do not buy.
