I bought these in April and wore them for three weeks of running about 10-15km a week. They cannot handle distances over 5km without causing pain. I have never felt a running shoe perform so badly under the ball of my foot. The cushioning collapses entirely, or pinches, or a little of both. Too bad, because the foot upper is lovely and hugs the rest of the foot. But the sole is insufficiently structured to stand up to a 7-10K distance. I have never had soreness in other shoes, and going back to my other model (another brand) was enough to solve the issue -- so unfortunately for OnCloud (and fortunately for me) it is not an issue with my feet.

First time for this brand, never heard of them until the salesperson suggested. I really wanted to like these but after about 5 runs I've decided to return under the 90 day guarantee. I knew that since they are a 4mm drop it would take some adjustment, but there are other factors such as less cushion than I wanted that contributed to my decision to return. I thought that the 'rollers' on the soles would give more cushion than they do, I'd prefer more cushioning inside the shoe under my foot.

This shoe seem to be made for a man (or they shipped me a man's version). The heel is huge - when I take a step my sock is dragged down my foot becasue the heel gap is so sloppy, I end up having to stop several times to untie my shoe/s and pull up my sock/s, which makes for a tedious run. I have tried tieing these all different ways but have not found anything that will help. It's odd that this is the only pair out of 5 other ON pairs I have purchased in the past that this happens to. These are going back to RRS.

I have been wearing various On running shoes for many years for training and races from 5k to half marathon and rate the brand highly. The Cloudflow is definitely my shoe of choice at the moment; I love its light weight and it provides just enough support with great cushioning and acceleration from push off. Current colour choice for women's shoes good too! My only gripe is that changing laces on these shoes to use elastic ones for triathlons is fiddly as the lace holes are small. Also, given that Ons are used by many triathletes, it would be great if they came with optional matching elastic laces.
I purchased these for running indoors and outdoors. The second I tried these on I was impressed with the level of comfort and support. I’d never heard of on cloud shoes before but let me tell you they are my absolute favourite now!!I run 5km’s 4 to 5 times a week. I’ve been running for over 20 years including in the military. I can honestly say hands-down these are the most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever worn. I instantly feel arch support when my foot slides into the shoe and you feel a little propelled forward as you run which is fantastic.I love that they have a little band on the top of the shoe to tuck your tied laces into! I use to walk on average about 20k steps a day in 2019, but due to pain in knees and my right foot, I stopped walking outside. For the record, I wear prescribed orthopedic insoles in all my athletic shoes when walking; unfortunately, it didn't matter what tennis shoe I put on, I would have pain. Therefore; I stopped walking outside and started working out inside my home and doing chair exercises. In 2020, I visited my doctor's office, I noticed he had on these all black beautiful tennis shoes; I asked him about them, and he told me how much he loved his shoes. I immediately ordered me some waterproof running shoes by "ON." Instantly I noticed how comfortable they were, I kept them on all day; I saw a definite reduction in both knee and foot pain. I finally got enough nerves to walk outside again. they are by far the most comfortable athletic shoes I have ever worn. I am ready to order my second pair.
I love my shoes. I only wish I had ordered 1/2 size bigger as they are not true to size. I've worn them once and they feel like I won't be walking a lot in them. Shoes are very light (thought there was only one in the box when I received them). I wish I could afford to order another pair in the correct size.
I highly rate this brand for comfort. This is my third pair of On running shoes. I purchased this particular pair as a replacement for the shoes of the same model that I bought for my first half marathon last year. They are just so comfy, lightweight and don't have the bulky feel that you can get with models from brands such as Brooks/ Asics with the thick soles. Having worn these trainers for all of my training last year (almost daily runs!) they definitely started to show signs of wear and tear especially around the inside of the heel (as seen by the images). Looking at the material of the new pair i think that On have improved this and opted for a slightly more robust material on the inside of the heel for this years model which is great news. Looking at the material of the new pair i think that On have improved this and opted for a slightly more robust material on the inside of the heel for this years model which is great news. Despite the wear on my old pair I would happily continue to wear out and replace these trainers. I personally always use elastic laces with my trainers (these come with regular laces which i replace) which I think helps get that extra snug fit and prevents unnecessary movement which could lead to blisters. Best for road running as on lanes sometimes pebbles and stones get stuck in the gaps on the tread. Overall definitely recommend this brand and this particular model is my favourite. High price point but absolutely worth the money.
I had a running Gait analysis done by my sport physio in January complete with shoe spec recommendations to find the beat shoe for me. I found these On Cloudflow a few weeks later after a lot of searching for the right specs, and they have been a game changer for me. Fit my narrow upper foot very well, while still allowing plenty of room for my toes to splay in the toebox. Just the right amount of light but solid cushioning, and a lower drop than most shoes on the market these days.I have ran various distances between 2- 12km and I love them. So much so that I recently ordered a pair of their new trail On Cloudventure Peak shoes to try for my off-road excursions.
I discovered this brand of shoes about a year ago and now own several pairs. I own a pair of cloudflyers (my first pair of ON Running shoes) and several pairs of Cloud X (my favorite style). I wanted to try the Cloudflow for an every day wear because of the neutral gray color and I love them too! I wore them all day right after purchasing them and just like the other two styles they felt like they were already broken in and so comfortable right from the start.
