Beyond Pleased with Cloudswift
I bought these shoes during the Covid lockdown, so I didn't wear them for quite a while. I am an 8.5 in dress shoes, and ordered a size 9. I do not have a wide foot. My loves on these shoes: NOT ultra memory-type foam cushy. Those types of sneaks make me feel off-balance. Heel box secures the foot nicely. The arches are not high, as other reviewers have indicated. They are a normal arch. The biggest plus for me is that they actually fit in my arch. So many have the arch pressing in at the beginning of the sole of my foot. You can feel the breathability. The tongue does not come up and rub your ankle, as other brands can. I am out with our very active Vizsla on gravel and often times muddy trails 5-6 X/ week. Shoes look lalm8st new, inside, outside, soles. A great ... Never had to break them in. What's a break-in on an athletic shoe, anyway? Should not happen.... Show more

disappointing
I was excited to try On running shoes. I ordered the Cloudswift and Cloud X. The way the swift fits, it’s hard to believe they are the same brand. First, the swift was hard to get on my foot, even with the laces loose. The swift is oddly tight and uncomfortable in the toe box. They also feel stiff and uncomfortable even without standing. If this was the only pair of On I had tried, I would have no further interest in the brand. The Cloud X are fine. They are more aligned with my expectations for On. I will likely keep the Cloud X. The Cloudswift are going straight back to my local store.... Show more

I have been wearing these sneakers for three months with my own orthotics. They are pure heaven for me!I wear a women’s 9 or 9.5. Originally I ordered a 9.5 but they were too small, so I tried a size 10. Perfect fit! Keep in mind I am putting my own orthotics in them.I tried 3 other styles same brand and none were as cushiony and comfortable as these for me. Nothing close. I am going to get these in another color.BTW I don’t run in these shoes. I walk A LOT and use them for gym workouts and around town. Perfect for a vacation where lots of city walking is necessary.... Eh, okay
Lots of rave reviews about ON shoes. I’ve been running for 20 years and have tried everything. So, I was eager to try out this ON technology. My final assessment…eh, they’re okay. Although aesthetically they’re stylish and they do have some shock absorption, everything else is disappointing. The laces are cheap, there is not a lot of arch support for normal size arch, and the back rests low on the Achilles heel. My Hokas and older Asics are better.... Show more

First negative experience
I have owned dozens of On running shoes over the years and always have a few in rotation since I wear them to work, run, weight training, ect. I decided to try the cloudswift since I love the look and colors. I was soo disappointed . Within minutes on the treadmill my feet went numb. I’ve never had to break in a pair of on’s. I had to cut my workout short and take them off. I sized up when I purchased (always do 1/2 size up) so thought maybe it was the socks I was wearing. So I gave the shoe another try and Couldn’t even stand wearing it around the house .I’m not giving up on onrunning shoes. They have done good for me and my bunions over the years otherwise ha ;)Sad to say I’ll be returning .... Show more

I like the design, shape,
I like the design, shape, weight, and general quality of the flatware I purchased. However, I find that there is a lack of consistency in the color of the tortoise-colored handles. Two out of five (40%) of the orignal shipment were much darker (almost black) than the others and not consistent with those pictured in advertising. while the company was quick to replace these two, even one of the replacements lacked the gold translucent quality of the other pieces. I do not know how other colors would be, but not eager to try.... Show more

I live in these shoes!
I have three pair of CloudSwift and can’t walk without them. Last year I tore a tendon on my foot, which made walking very painful and at times impossible. For anyone that has dealt with this injury you know it’s a very long healing process and 10 months later I am still relying on these specific sneakers for the comfort and support I need to walk again. It’s also great for my lower back which suffers from sciatic pain. Prior to switching to these shoes I used to wear ASICS but CloudSwift is a completely different feel and in my opinion far more comfortable. Nike shoes just don’t work for me.I wear size 7 and for these shoes have been sizing up to 7.5 and it’s a perfect fit.... Show more

It's like running on a cloud!
I actually bought these in a lilac/black colour from Athlete's Foot awhile ago. I have had an ACL reconstruction as well as a second surgery on the same knee and was very skeptical of running as I was always in pain. I bought these originally to walk my dog and far out! They're so light, they put a spring in your step and you could literally walk in these for hours without becoming fatigued! What's even better is, I've started to run in these too and surprise! No pain! Gives you good flow/movement in pace and a smooth run. I love them! I tried these on in my usual size 7 but was recommended to go up half a size. I wasn't sure at first because I thought the 7s fit but I have no regrets getting the 7.5 as it gives me more room during walking/running. As I train at the ... As I train at the gym - I find they're not the best for weights though due to the sole. Looking at trying the Cloud x for more that sort of thing!... Show more

Love these shoes!
These shoes are wonderful. I am 76 years old and still work 20 hrs a week on my feet, so I need shoes that are comforable. Prior to the cloudswifts my back hurt every day, but now it does not. I feel more balanced, stronger and more energetic. There is plenty of room in the toe box, great support and I feel a boost with each step. Did I mention how cute and stylish they are! And yes, even at my age, I do not want to wear "old lady" shoes. I love how the tounge is attached to rest of the shoe so that they always stay in place. These are well worth the money.... Show more

Uncomfortable and painful shoe
I tried these sneakers in store prior to purchase. I really liked how they looked and it felt comfortable when I first tried them on. I didn’t take them out of the box until the following year and wore them out to a theme park. I walked in the shoes for about 10 minutes and stood in line for about another 5 before realizing that all my toes went numb. It was similar to the feeling of wearing a pair of 6 inch open-toe Louboutin pumps where the front portion of the shoe is so narrow that all your toes are squished together. I was in pain. I have never had this problem with any pair of high end running shoes I’ve purchased. I don’t wear wide width shoes. And I’ve never had to break-in a pair of sneakers either. I was so disappointed with my purchase. Looks cool but ... MoreI tried these sneakers in store prior to purchase. I really liked how they looked and it felt comfortable when I first tried them on.
