Returned. Do not buy. I've the 4 device and that's great. On this 6 device the fast forward and fastback will not work - see heaps of bad online reviews. Only really bought as I wanted a remote with the backlight.

Was happy with the unit - do what it says except Rewind and Fast Foward "learn" functions are not working. Support was great but still unresolved
Easy to use, simple button layout, great navigation buttons. Easy to copy actions from other remotes. Great if you only need a sole remote for your TV. Not suitable for multi-use.
I bought this for my elderly, partially sighted father because it was the simplest one I could find and it's just right - it's particularly helpful that the volume up and volume down buttons are different sizes (same with programme up and programme down). Note that there are different models available in this series - I think there's one with two standby buttons at the very top for controlling two separate devices so make sure you get the one with only one button if you want to control only one TV. The other thing I'd mention is that if you use the auto search when pairing it with your TV, the auto search can take a VERY long time because there are hundreds of possible codes to go through - so do be patient and don't give up!
We have Panasonic equipment and set the remote to Panasonic accordingly. While the basic buttons work several common DVD functions are not available and we have to work around. The guidance to buttons given on the Panasonic screen doesn't match the control very well. It's better than not having a control at all, which is our only option since the original failed. I would only recommend it to a friend if they can test it first on their equipment.

Unable to work with our DVD and sound system, was advised was compatible but it was only when we got it home and tried it, discovered would not work.
Easy to hold/grip in the hand. Simple to use (even for "older" people). The instructions can seem a bit daunting at first as they include a long list of codes for all the different makes and models... however they were very precise and the most common code worked for my TV. All the buttons work as they should and actually easier to use than the manufacturers remote supplied with my TV. Would recommend this remote to anyone who needs a simpler, bigger button remote that is easy to hold
