Our family loves this game. Set up is simple and rounds go quickly, so if you have only 15 minutes to play a game, this would be well worth the time (but you would probably want to play much longer). It requires an app on the phone to play, but that was no problem. I have a very old phone that gives me a lot of problems, but the app downloaded quickly, and loads very quickly every time I use it. I have more problems sending a text with my phone than I have using the app.We played this game with all ages, and I would recommend children be at least 8 years old. Some of the things I really like about this game:*Easy set up*Not too many pieces to lose or have children destroy*Easy to learn and play*Quick play (with longer play options)*Easy to use app that does ... MoreOur family loves this game. We already have this game and bought it as a gift for friends. Good choice, they played about 10 rounds the first day! The app makes learning this game easy, although we found it helps if you play the first time with people who have played before.

I bought this game for my husband and 2 boys, ages 10 and 8. It is a fun, game that everyone really enjoyed. Once you learn the rules, the game itself only take 10 minutes or less to play. My kids compared it to Among Us. It has been the game they keep asking to play. Definitely a ni staple for future family game nights

Awesome game with kids 7 and up! Even though game says 14

We bought this game and even though all the reviews are great, I wasn’t so sure it could be too much fun but it is!! My husband and and I played for HOURS with our 7, 9 and 11 year old! We were a little lost at first at what we were supposed to say when everyone woke up but got the hang of it quickly! I also thought there is no way we won’t hear/feel people sitting next to us moving the cards when directed to do so but we must have played about 50 times since last night and none of us could sense anyone moving cards. Definitely recommend this game of deception, so much fun. Seriously exactly what we needed to switch up from our normal board game collection! I highly recommend!

Great Game for Family and Friends
5 January 2019

I had so much fun playing my brother's game that I wanted my own. The rounds are fast so you won't get "stuck" playing this game; Players can rotate in and out for breaks. However, you probably won't want to stop playing. Usually, after a round, my family runs to get drinks and use the bathroom so we can start playing again. This is a great game for adults and children. It take a few rounds for kids to understand the motivations in the game but there are plenty of roles they can do easily until they get the hang of it. You can also pair children with adults until they feel comfortable but they will catch on fast and want to play on their own. This game is still tons of fun even when you don't know how to play. Definitely jump right in and play.Recommendation: Play around a low coffee table that every one can reach across. Large/long tables make it difficult to reach everyone's card and limit the range of play.

Great for Game Night
17 January 2017

Fun game for adults or with my kids (age 8 and 10). Super easy to learn. Getting the free announcer app is a must! Plus the kids think the guy's voice is hilarious. The game goes like this. Everyone gets dealt a character and looks at it. Then everyone closes their eyes (starting the announcer on your phone/tablet). The announcer proceeds to call out individual characters to open their eyes and do a specific task. It could be to look for other werewolf, switch cards with another player, peek at another player's card, swap 2 players' cards, etc. When you open your eyes, you cannot look at your card again. It may have been changed! Now as a group you have to decide who is a werewolf!Fun game! It only lasts a few minutes so be prepared to play it again.

Have always enjoyed Salem/Mafia/Werewolf games since playing 'murder in the dark' at 1980s birthday parties. Downside is the fact that the later (most fun) rounds of these game include fewer of the players & the 'game master' conducts, but doesn't play.Core idea of "One Night" (a one-shot set of claim and counter-claim, about evidence then reset, keeping score across a number of rounds) keeps a lot of the fun, without people 'dropping out' & works better than you might think, with some new moments of comedy cropping up when players turn out to be no longer on the team that they believed, etc. Phone/Tablet app works well to run the game and play length is easily varied by number of rounds. This is a fantastic gateway game. My gaming group plays tons of awesome strategy games, and lots of dice chuckers, and that's a blast. But when I go to visit with family on the holidays, it's difficult to get them to try anything much deeper than Uno or Apples to Apples.Games like ONU Werewolf work great, though! The game is designed around encouraging table talk, and there's always a bit of hilarity when people get accused of being a werewolf because they can't keep a straight face. On top of that, it's a really quick game, so you can get a few rounds in, then play something else, and come back later.I love the app, and I don't think I'd be as crazy about the game if it didn't exist, even though the game would still be perfectly playable. One night ultimate werewolf is a fun role based game for any gamer and even better for new gamers. This iteration uses an app (ios or android) that moderates the game for players allowing everyone to jump in and play within minutes.Your goal is to find who the werewolf is while assuming the role of one of many villagers each with a different ability. Will you be the drunk, the seer, the trouble maker, or the werewolf itself! And soon enough fingers will be pointing as people try to figure who is really the werewolf. There are 2 drawbacks to the game. First is the app, it is possible the app may not be supported in the future. Second is the cost. There are not a lot components and it cannot justify the cost. Simple and fun after dinner party-game
10 December 2016

This is a very fun and simple game! It takes about 5 minutes to play one round, and you can play as many rounds as you like. Great for after a dinner party. Playing with 4 people is OKAY but the more people you have the more fun it is. I highly recommend downloading the free app to go along with the game. This game is similar to the popular "Mafia" party game. Everyone is delt a character card. Whoever has the "Werewolf" card has to bluff and pretend they are another character. The goal is to decide who is the werewolf. It's fun because everyone has to close their eyes and each character does different things (ie: the robber takes someones card, the troublemaker switches two players card). after the mischief occurs, everyone opens their eyes and discusses what they ... MoreThis is a very fun and simple game!
