The Nord features a 48 MP primary sensor, similar to the one found in the OnePlus 8, equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to capture photos and videos without blur or camera shake. It intelligently removes unwanted noise and sharpens recordings in challenging lighting conditions, such as bright sunlight. For clear shots after dark, Nightscape captures up to nine different images in low light with varying exposures, stitching them together for clearer, brighter, and more dramatic photos. The primary front camera of the OnePlus Nord can record in 4K at 60 frames per second, ensuring every single image is a brilliant selfie. The 90 Hz display makes it hard to look at anything else. Scrolling is smoother, transitions are faster, and everything responds better—once you experience 90 Hz, there's no turning back. The Nord comes with OxygenOS 10.5 pre-installed, featuring all the expected functionalities such as dark theme, gesture navigation, and Zen mode. It also includes Google's communication apps—Messages, Dialer, and Duo—for a seamless, convenient, and secure user experience. The display has 2048 automatic brightness levels, providing smoother brightness transitions and increased eye comfort, whether scrolling through social media or browsing a beautifully designed product page. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G, the Nord offers improved CPU speeds and a 30% faster graphics display. With up to 12GB of RAM, the Nord can run all your favorite apps simultaneously without slowing down. While 5G may not be available yet, the Nord is ready to support all the possibilities of 5G as soon as it becomes accessible.

There are many features of the programming of this phone that are annoying. You cannot lock text messages. You also cannot put a time date stamp on a message and send it at that point... You cannot make a phone call if you're in messages app. You have to leave the message app.. go into the phone. Look up the name of the person who you message you were reading before you can call them. Phone does not really get bright enough outdoors in the sun to use. Phone constantly is dimming itself. And it seems to use a lot of data to do simple tasks. It's a long tedious process to delete cached data. Each app has to be done separately.

Look, this is a great phone, and I doubt a usual Android user, and even an iphone user would be disappointed. The operating system is crisp, the speed is fantastic for a normal user (power users may notice a difference, but to me it's fast and crisp), the functionality great. And for the price, I would say it's hard to beat. There are things that could be improved however, which make me rate it at 4 rather than 5 stars. First, battery life. It lasts a day easily (morning to evening with moderate use (4 hrs of screen time). But that's not great. For a large battery, this is rather disappointing. The redeeming factor is that the phone charges from 10-100% in 47 minutes. That's fast! Second, it's nice, it looks great, but it's heavy. Look, it may just be me, but it's too large and heavy, especially with a case on Finally, the cameras are, as the reviews say, not the best. The back camera is bulky, sticks out and is annoying and easily scratched as a result. A case will fix this (but makes it bulkier). And the front dual camera is overkill. One would have sufficed and covered less screen. Overall, yes, great phone, but not perfect.

A phone with a mind of its own.

This is a nice looking phone with excellent camera. But: 1. the flashlight turns itself on all the time and I don't know why. 2. I have had the best luck with them, but I got this one to try a new brand. Not recommended.

I had brought this OnePlus Nord 2T product for regular useOnePlus Nord 2T mobile looks premium & is light weight, speakers are loud , display & charging speed are good.It takes around 43 minutes to charge from 5% - 100% when the device is on.When the device is in switched off mode it charges from 4% - 100% within 32 minutes.Must say Battery life is poor. How much battery optimization do you want your customer to perform ?If only battery optimization is the solution then what is the purpose of buying OnePlus mobile over other brands in the market?Just think OnePlus. Why choose OnePlus over other?

Metro PCS Salesman Screwed me
14 October 2022

As the Title states the salesman at Metro pushed this phone on me. It's easily the worst phone I've ever had and I don't buy fancy I phones or the new galaxies. Every week is flooding me with me fans apps. The texting stopped working or was on the fritz for almost two months until an update kinda fixed it but it's still spotty at best. I have 128 Gs n it runs like it has a floppy disc. Screen sensitivity is too high despite being turned all the way down so I'm constantly calling other people mid conversation or hanging up on them. I could go on but between not fixing TEXTING FOR MONTHS IS SHAMEFUL. this while company should be thrown into the sun.

Phone was a relatively inexpensive upgrade to my previous phone (more memory, better camera,), and it does exactly this. Phone was easy to set up, all the components work as expected, the camera is noticeably better then the previous one. More expensive phones might be better, but this was a good purchase for the money.

Pleasantly surprised!
19 September 2023

Shame I first purchased a Motorola which started having problems within the first year. Never heard of One Plus before, but after much investigation I decided to give the N30 a shot. Couldn't be happier. Price was very good and performance has been stellar. It took me couple days to get used to the OS. Battery life and management is really good. The charging time from around 20% to 100 is phenomenal. Glad I took the chance and now have a solid cell phone manufacturer whenever I'm ready for a new phone. Thank you One Plus for making a great phone.

The signal seemed strong and it has happened twice. Not sure if a phone issue as yet.A final point is the position of the on/off button. It's in the middle of the phone so I am always accidently switching the phone off when in the middle of something. A bit frustrating but used to it now.
