I was so excited when I was given the opportunity to test this powder!Firstly, I think the price makes sense as the product is a lot, literally Ā£1 per g.I love the packaging as it prevents the powder from getting everywhere, although it is quite bulky so not the best to carry for travelling; I like to use it with a powder puff or a small/medium powder brush.I loved the fact that the translucent powder does not really release any colour once applied, it just gives a nice illuminating effectThis is a product for the ULTRA MATTE LOVERS like me, I like to have a shine in certain areas but in general I need my makeup to be set since I have a quite oily t-zone and watery eyesI would say it does what it claims: long wear, shine control, mattifies makeup, and has ...Ā MoreI was so excited when I was given the opportunity to test this powder!Firstly, I think the price makes sense as the product is a lot, literally Ā£1 per g.I love the packaging as it prevents the powder from getting everywhere, although it is quite bulky so not the best to carry for travelling; I like to use it with a powder puff or a small/medium powder brush.I loved the fact that the translucent powder does not really release any colour once applied, it just gives a nice illuminating effectThis is a product for the ULTRA MATTE LOVERS like me, I like to have a shine in certain areas but in general I need my makeup to be set since I have a quite oily t-zone and watery eyesI would say it does what it claims: long wear, shine control, mattifies makeup, and has no flashback luckily. My makeup and face looks blurred, and I love the fact that it sets without going into my under eyes lines and clinging to the dry patches created by my acne scars, it also does not make my pores show.I would recommend this powder to an oily combo skins, apparently it’s not acne safe but I did not notice any new spots although I’ve been using it for the past 2 weeks, and you might have to touch up throughout the day.It is not the finest powder ever (hence the 4 stars, although I would give it a 4.5), but you can make it work quite easily without having a cakey effectI used it to go clubbing, despite the sweat and the drinks my make up survived quite well, and I even forgot to use setting spray

I've been using this for a few days now especially with this hot, clammy weather we've been having and as a standard loose powder it works for what I require from such a product: reduces shine, sets my base nicely, doesn't feel heavy or cakey nor does it leave my pores looking like concrete that's been left out in the baking sun for months with no relent. As far as the blurring effect I didn't notice any difference no matter how much I built up application. The formula is lovely and light due to its finely milled processing and is better applied to my skin using a medium sized fluffy eyeshadow brush to buff it in - I don't tend to use a lot of powder so a smaller brush is ideal.I would appreciate more of a colour choice in the shade range personally. The shade I have: 01 Translucent is good enough for my skintone as it blends well and leaves no white cast but a shade or two darker would be ideal for the summer months when I may be more tanned or just want to add a little colour to my skin.Packaging-wise, as much as I like the casing with it's flip-up inner lid I have trouble releasing any powder through the provided shaped holes and when I do release some it can get messy therefore wasting product which is a shame.P.S. Alongside cruelty-free and vegan, I adore the fact this setting powder is gluten free! for those of us whom, in many different ways, cannot tolerate gluten it is appreciated that a cosmetic brand is bearing this in mind and being proactive. I would put on primer, set the primer with powder, apply foundation, spray a lot of setting spray on the foundation as I’m blending it, set the foundation with a beauty blender with the loose powder, bake my entire face with powder, and then finally end with more setting spray and more powder on top after baking. Even with this, I would still get a little shiny around the 9 hour mark (which is still impressive), but I wasn’t fully satisfied with it. The shine was most definitely manageable, but I wanted it to be bulletproof matte. However, this powder + the On ā€˜Til Dawn setting spray I think has helped me get to the 12-14 hour mark with virtually no shine at all. In the corners of my nose, I can see it getting a little oily, but everywhere else is almost perfect. I gauge shine level by seeing if touching my face leaves a matte mark of where my finger/hand took off the oil on my makeup in comparison to the makeup around it, but this powder still feels powdery to the touch even at the end of the day on most of my face except for the corners of my nose and maybe in between my eyebrows.I will say, I still do set my primer with a little bit of powder and set and bake my face + setting spray, so I am aware that most people don’t prefer to put this much makeup on and that this might cause a difference in results. But for those who do a full beat face and don’t mind being able to ā€œfeelā€ the makeup on your face throughout the day, I HIGHLY recommend this powder. My results probably improved with the usage of the setting spray as well, but undoubtedly the powder has it’s own merit in keeping the shine at bay.I forgot to add that this does blur your pores as well, so you’ll be staying matte and smooth all day :D So if you’re looking for a powder that will help you stay matte throughout a full day at an amusement part, this is the one.

So for me it really does deliver on everything it promises! This powder will now forever be something I hold in my kit, no other translucent powder performs like this & I’ve tried them all from high end to budget friendly. This one hits all the marks! The packaging is beautiful, it feels sleek & smooth in your hand, when first opening it, it had a clear sticker which I went ahead and removed, the powder itself is kept in place by having a inner lid, which clicked into place. I love the lid as it stops the powder from going everywhere! I’m loving the red on pink packaging.I am so impressed with how well it wears & how long it keeps my make up looking perfect. With no creasing or cakey look!Top marks & I can’t wait to try more from this range!

I was sent this as a Test and Review product from the Sephora Community. I haven't used any One/Size products before this one, but I had seen a lot of hype on social media.I love a full coverage, powder foundation and I have really pale skin. I usually use a very famous translucent setting powder, though I feel it's never given totally smooth coverage so have often switched to using a pressed eye powder to set my makeup - obviously not the most cost effective - so I was really over the moon to try the One/Size setting powder.I absolutely LOVE the One/Size packaging. It's so pretty and the contrast in matte and shine on the logo are really beautiful and feel lovely to touch. The powder has its own extra little insert lid, which helps stop it going everywhere when you're on the go. My only two criticisms would be that the sticker is almost impossible to get off in the first place to use unblock the product - you may want to ask someone who hasn't just painted their nails! The O/S logo also makes the product a little difficult to get out - I've overcome it by tapping the open product against the side of the sink and it pops out through the "/", but isn't the easiest. However, it wouldn't put me off, because the actual product is fantastic! The powder works really well with a small brush for undereye baking; a beauty blender for all over application or a soft kabuki brush for a fine layer. All three methods give a fantastic blurring effect, it's like I have a filter on my skin. The most notable points are that it keeps makeup from needing to be reapplied during the day and doesn't settle in fine lines - in fact, it's helped stop my 11 lines from appearing. It's also great that it doesn't settle in pores on the nose throughout the day and it doesn't react with setting spray (I've tried three different ones, and it's perfect with all of them!). It also doesn't show up using flash photography, so it'd be great to use for events. The colour looked quite pigmented in the pot, but even with my super pale skin, it came up translucent. It's great at blurring dark circles under my eyes - even the kind that need a ton of coverage but still won't go away - and has magically helped blur an intolerable section of acne scarring which has driven me crazy for years. Even with sensitive skin, it's not caused breakouts, which was a main concern for me with talc so high on the ingredients list.Overall it's a fantastic product and one I'll definitely be repurchasing!

I did my makeup as though I was performing for a show (we had rehearsals and I also went for a run today). I also used this yesterday for a daily routine. It lasted the entire day both times and so is definitely a long-lasting product that you do not need to keep reapplying, like some setting powders I have experienced. I was really impressed with this aspect, particularly as I try to be quite active and this can mean reapplication is needed. However, this stayed on really well and I loved how it still felt light at the same time. One would expect some grease or oiliness after being active, but this kept my skin soft, smooth and light. I am very impressed.Additionally, it definitely has a lovely matte effect, which was perfect today, but also amazing for everyday use. My skin feels really soft and smooth, and not cakey or overly dry at all. I love the lightness of the texture, as it is so fine and easy to brush across the skin without feeling heavy. I was really intrigued by the ā€œblurringā€ description, but as soon as I used it I could see what it meant - my skin looked so much smoother with no visible pores! This is genuinely something I have been struggling with recently, as I wanted to find something to minimise their appearance, and this did that wonderfully. I let a dance friend try some over her makeup too, and she was really impressed by the blurring element - think she’ll be asking to steal it more often!I used a brush for the application, which worked really well as it is fine and loose in texture, so I could easily sweep it over my skin. However, I think it would work well with a sponge or pad too, depending on preference. The packaging of the tub is really nice and sleek, so would also make a perfect gift. I love the size of it too, as I can see it will last me as you do not need to use too much at a time to get the desired porcelain-like effect.Overall, I am extremely happy with this product and am very excited to add it to my daily routine after trying to find a great setting powder for so long. It’s cruelty free and vegan as well, which are great points.I would recommend to anyone who wants to achieve that blurring, soft and smooth effect, whilst keeping makeup secure.(My honest review through Sephora Community - thank you.)

[Rewarded Review] Lovely setting powder

The last couple of weeks I've been testing the ONE/SIZE Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder by Patrick Starrr. The powder comes beautifully packaged and the pot is designed to be hygienic and mess free. It has a flip cap underneath the lid and just allows a small amount of product through at once keeping the rest fresh and tidy underneath. This won't be for everyone as at first I thought it was a bit messy and then I come to look Ike the design. The pot is a generous 34.5g so although I feel this is expensive; it will last you a decent amount of time. The powder is easy to apply with with a brush or a powder puff. It is very finely milled which is so nice when applying. It claims to Visibly blur fine lines and improve the look of textured skin. I was apprehensive before trying as I have large pores and fine lines but it went on beautifully and didn't look cakey and did make my skin appear much smoother. I have combination skin and this product absorbed excess oil and hid shine. The universal translucent is amazing for my skin tone and I imagine will work well for most skin tones. It did hold my make up beautifully for around 9 hours before I cleansed my face. I didn't need to touch up my make up whilst out. Overall a great product but marking down one star as I think it's not good value

[Rewarded Review] ONE/SIZE Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder

I'm completely obsessed with the one/size blurring setting powder. It really does what it sets out to do and delivers on its promises flawlessly. Among powders in its price range, none come close to achieving the same level of blurring perfection. It gives an almost airbrush finish to the skin. It doesn’t disrupt anything underneath it, which makes it easy to work with. This is a finely milled loose formula, so I can easily apply it using a brush or beauty blender to set specific areas of my face. I am happy to note it doesn't crease under my eyes. The key is apply less and add more if you need to. As the name suggests it is indeed ā€˜colourless,’ or translucent, and so it doesn’t leave any trace on the skin. It leaves a soft and blurring type of finish wherever you ...Ā MoreI'm completely obsessed with the one/size blurring setting powder. It also mattifies my skin. It lasts very well throughout the day without any need for reapplication. I have combination skin with drier patches, and it doesn’t cling onto any dry areas. The packaging is not only visually stunning (like all One/Size products) but it is also practical as it features a secure flap closure that prevents any mess. As someone with sometimes sensitive skin, I had no issues using this product. This product is vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free. I am seriously impressed at the price for the amount of product that you get here. I highly recommend checking it out! It's hard to find any negatives about this product. I received this product from Sephora in exchange for my honest review.

i have to split this review into two parts:formula: this setting powder is pretty meh. for context, huda beauty is my "perfect" loose powder. this one, on the other hand, offers no seamless airbrushed blur. in comparison to the laura mercier powder, it definitely looks less powdery/cakey and doesn't dry out the skin as much. super soft. however, it does not "lock in" products as well as the other two powders mentioned.colour: i heard a lot of people saying this is awesome for cool-toned skin, and saw some super positive reviews on social media where it added a very subtle blushed look. i'm very pale, and this looked terrible on me. i could compare it to a rash. it goes on like an uncontrolled, highly pigmented light pink blush. so it definitely can't be used as ...Ā Morei have to split this review into two parts:formula: this setting powder is pretty meh. for context, huda beauty is my "perfect" loose powder. this one, on the other hand, offers no seamless airbrushed blur. in comparison to the laura mercier powder, it definitely looks less powdery/cakey and doesn't dry out the skin as much. super soft. however, it does not "lock in" products as well as the other two powders mentioned.colour: i heard a lot of people saying this is awesome for cool-toned skin, and saw some super positive reviews on social media where it added a very subtle blushed look. i'm very pale, and this looked terrible on me. i could compare it to a rash. it goes on like an uncontrolled, highly pigmented light pink blush. so it definitely can't be used as a powder for general baking or setting, particularly on my skin.
