One/Size Ultimate Setting Powder Ultra - Pink - 24-Hour Shine Control & Blurring Matte Finish

My makeup and face looks blurred, and I love the fact that it sets without going into my under eyes lines and clinging to the dry patches created by my acne scars, it also does not make my pores show.I would recommend this powder to an oily combo skins, apparently it’s not acne safe but I did not notice any new spots although I’ve been using it for the past 2 weeks, and you might have to touch up throughout the day.It is not the finest powder ever (hence the 4 stars, although I would give it a 4.5), but you can make it work quite easily without having a cakey effectI used it to go clubbing, despite the sweat and the drinks my make up survived quite well, and I even forgot to use setting spray

I've been using this for a few days now especially with this hot, clammy weather we've been having and as a standard loose powder it works for what I require from such a product: reduces shine, sets my base nicely, doesn't feel heavy or cakey nor does it leave my pores looking like concrete that's been left out in the baking sun for months with no relent. As far as the blurring effect I didn't notice any difference no matter how much I built up application.The formula is lovely and light due to its finely milled processing and is better applied to my skin using a medium sized fluffy eyeshadow brush to buff it in - I don't tend to use a lot of powder so a smaller brush is ideal.I would appreciate more of a colour choice in the shade range personally. The shade I have: 01 Translucent is good enough for my skintone as it blends well and leaves no white cast but a shade or two darker would be ideal for the summer months when I may be more tanned or just want to add a little colour to my skin.Packaging-wise, as much as I like the casing with it's flip-up inner lid I have trouble releasing any powder through the provided shaped holes and when I do release some it can get messy therefore wasting product which is a shame.P.S. Alongside cruelty-free and vegan, I adore the fact this setting powder is gluten free! for those of us whom, in many different ways, cannot tolerate gluten it is appreciated that a cosmetic brand is bearing this in mind and being proactive. I know that it’s hard to meet my expectations of virtually no shine by the end of the day *without* touching up, but this powder is by far the closest I’ve gotten to staying perfectly matte all day without worrying about touching up.Before this powder, my routine consisted of the e.l.f Poreless Putty Primer, Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder, and the Milani Make it Last Setting Spray. Even with this, I would still get a little shiny around the 9 hour mark (which is still impressive), but I wasn’t fully satisfied with it. The shine was most definitely manageable, but I wanted it to be bulletproof matte.However, this powder + the On ‘Til Dawn setting spray I think has helped me get to the 12-14 hour mark with virtually no shine at all. In the corners of my nose, I can see it getting a little oily, but everywhere else is almost perfect. I gauge shine level by seeing if touching my face leaves a matte mark of where my finger/hand took off the oil on my makeup in comparison to the makeup around it, but this powder still feels powdery to the touch even at the end of the day on most of my face except for the corners of my nose and maybe in between my eyebrows.I will say, I still do set my primer with a little bit of powder and set and bake my face + setting spray, so I am aware that most people don’t prefer to put this much makeup on and that this might cause a difference in results. But for those who do a full beat face and don’t mind being able to “feel” the makeup on your face throughout the day, I HIGHLY recommend this powder. My results probably improved with the usage of the setting spray as well, but undoubtedly the powder has it’s own merit in keeping the shine at bay.I forgot to add that this does blur your pores as well, so you’ll be staying matte and smooth all day :D So if you’re looking for a powder that will help you stay matte throughout a full day at an amusement part, this is the one.
