The dining room chair I was using had aged and was no longer fit for purpose or healthy for my rear-end. After researching various chair suppliers I settled on this chair from PB Tech after finding they did not have the DXRacer in stock at my local store. Setup was pretty easy and the chair is very comfortable. It is way bigger than I expected once assembled. The upgrade from using a regular dinner table chair was well worth it. I purchased the red and black variant of the GX220 AIR and it looks great and feels pretty solid. The stitching and general build also seem good. The plastic parts also appear quite solid but I would not recommend rocking or abusing the chair. The comfort is a welcome improvement from the old. My only concern is how well the chair will age. ... MoreThe dining room chair I was using had aged and was no longer fit for purpose or healthy for my rear-end. I have seen random reports that ONEX chairs start to go after a few months. My kids now fight for usage of the chair and I am, at this stage, reasonably happy with the purchase.

Have had this product for a little over 12 months. Initially, I felt like the chair was tilted forward, just enough to slide off. After about 3 months 1 armrest became wobbly, but not enough to warrant sending it back. Just after 12 months and the internal steel frame in the seat back failed. Welds have broken and the back now twists when any sort of weight is applied. Even at this price point, I would expect better quality.

It looks great but not very suitable for long sitting periods. The first few months was fine albeit took a little breaking in. But from then on the chair just started becoming an enemy. Very uncomfortable seat cushion, not very much padding to support your underside. Back support could've been better. Always feel like the seat is tilting me forward so I'm actively pushing back with my feet which causes swelling. Regretfully have to say I do not recommend this seat. In the process of getting a new one from PB tech so hopefully that's better.

You need someone to help you if you want to assemble this chair because doing it just by yourself will take you ages. I suggest starting from the base all the way up. For the wheels, just use force to push it inside the base. Try to wiggle and do small adjustments until the screw attached to the wheel gets locked inside. And for the most tricky part, the backrest, you can see that the sides are a bit far apart. It's normal. Just screw the bottom of the right side then screw the top of the left side. Use force to push the metal closer to the backrest so that u can screw it. then screw the rest, top of right then bottom of left. I was on the verge of returning this chair because I couldn't seem to attach the backrest since the metals on the sides where u have to attach the backrest are a bit afar, but turns out u just have to find a way and never give up. Follow my instructions above. And for the recliner, it won't work until you've attached the backrest. So don't panic if you can't adjust it yet. Just attach the backrest first and the recliner will work after. But it's worth the hassle, the chair is pretty comfy. Good luck!

Positives are the chair looks great and was relatively simple to put together courtesy of instructions which were minimal but effective. It has all the bells and whistles of a mid-range gaming chair. But this chair had a major drawback - it's not particularly comfortable. The seat part where you sit is perplexingly thin and within an hour I'm uncomfortable and needing to go for a short walk. Adjusting the chair has helped but only to an extent. I have no problems with conventional office chairs at much lower prices but just can't get comfortable on this chair. Gaming for hours on end is simply not an option.

The chair is overall uncomfortable: arm rests are too low offering no support whatsoever (i'm 176cm- average height), the bottom squab pitches slightly forward, non adjustable, so has no real leg support in fact it seems to want to push you out. The tilt tension doesn't noticeably work and it clunks. The adjustable cushion thing is necessary- kinda feels like an afterthought- for what is basically a flat chair so without them it would be soooo bad. Durable-even though it's a very heavy chair it moves easily and appears to be a pretty solid unit so little chance of breaking. Being 100% covered in vinyl I suspect it will be sweaty in warmer rooms I gave it 2 stars as I don't think it will break easily but zero for good design and comfort- a case of "function ... MoreThe chair is overall uncomfortable: arm rests are too low offering no support whatsoever (i'm 176cm- average height), the bottom squab pitches slightly forward, non adjustable, so has no real leg support in fact it seems to want to push you out. If you want comfort there is better for less, if you want to impress then this is great and not a bad price by any means.
