As with all Oofos shoes, these are the most comfortable flip flops I’ve ever worn. The arch is so big that when I walk, I don’t feel impact on my heels at all. All the impact is in the arch. I recently had a hip replacement, but when I had osteoarthritis, these were the only shoes I could wear. I still wear them even after my surgery. However, I prefer the Oolala sandal over the Ooriginal because the Ooriginals are a little too wide and a little loose. The Oolalas are narrower and fit better. But with all the Oofos I’ve ever owned, the tread only lasts about a year before I have to replace them. I wish they lasted longer. Overall, Oofos is my go-to for flip flops hands down.

They were a gift to my friend who suffers from plantar fasciitis, like I do. She said she loves them! She used to swear by Vionics but she says she likes these better.I’ve bought about 3-4 pairs of their shoes/sandals and all of them have hurt my feet. The color was not my first choice but the colors I like seem to sell out quickly and I wanted her to have her gift by a specific date.I myself have already bought 3 pairs of Oofos for myself and I recommend them to my friends.I love them!!The only thing I’d suggest for improvement is the fact that the bed of the sandal (the part the sole of your foot rests on) becomes very slippery when wet. It needs to have some kind of groves or something (I’m no shoe expert) to avoid an accident.I was just in Hawaii and I ... MoreThey were a gift to my friend who suffers from plantar fasciitis, like I do. Love these slides! I have lots of shoes, sandals, and other footwear in my closet from years of searching for the perfect supportive, work-from-home item. Nothing matches these. I run almost every morning, and these are like a breath of fresh air after getting ready for the day. I need some arch support, and these have it. I have had soft foam sandals and hard foam sandals with high arches. Nothing matches the perfection the Oofos offer in between. At 6'1 and over 200 pounds, memory foam sinks too much, but stiff slides like Adidas Adilettes are too hard and unforgiving (something I never thought until wearing Oofos). Keep in mind these will soften and form a bit over the first few wears, likely becoming more comfortable as they break in, especially if you think the ... MoreLove these slides! Oofos fits true to size for me. Size 12 in tennis shoes is a 12 in the slides and Oofos shoes that I eventually bought as well. They may look a little big when you try them on, but I think recovery footwear is designed that way intentionally, so your foot can spread out and relax properly. Unlike the Hoka recovery slides, these stay on really well despite that spacing. I have tried several brands of recovery slides and clogs, and Oofos were my favorite. They truly are wonderful.
