Bought this when I bought my pizza oven and love it. It keeps the oven dry from the elements without issue. I was a bit leery about the cover because my blackstone cover was just okay. However the results have been great. I ordered the pizza oven, natural gas burner and cover all at the same time from the ooni website during the Father’s Day sale. So glad I did.

I love this oven! There's definitely a learning curve when it comes to using wood as opposed to propane, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. The propane attachment is very convenient to have if you have less time to babysit the fire. I originally wanted the Gozney Dome because it's so nice looking, but it's so much more expensive for a very similarly functional product. Based on reviews I've read, I'm glad I got the Karu 16 instead due to ease of use as well as price.

I got this in late December and actually love everything about it! It is so large inside that you can make a full sized 16 inch pizza! I have tried steaks and tuna in this oven and they are the best I have ever had! Medium rare steak in about 2.5 min. I bought the propane adapter and use it on very cold days as I am located in Canada! Both the propane and the wood fired work great but I do enjoy the added flavour with wood. Best investment I have made! The pizza is the best with homemade dough using 00 flour. I will be using this all year long and for many years to come. Thank you Ooni!

I replaced my old Ooni 3 (12-inch, pellets, 3 years of usage) with a 16-inch Karu multi-fuel and couldn`t be happier. It has a much easier heat control and a nice thermometer that allows for checking the temp rising/falling at a distance, it has enough room to rotate the pizza inside the oven. With this model, with the glass door, you can now look at your pizza while cooking which is good for reaching the crust you want, plus it's amazing to show off to your friends. The only drawback is that it`s much heavier, so it's harder to bring it along when camping or on car trips (lesson learned: if possible, keep your previous 12" Ooni ;-) ).
My cover broke by the strap of the handle in under 8 months. I live in San Diego, with one of the more mild clients in the USA. I keep the oven outside but in a covered area and not in direct sunlight. Lifted the oven up the other day by the handle of the cover and it broke. Luckily the oven did not break. I do love the oven but the cover is cheap and frankly it is a liability. If It can't hold up here not sure how it could possibly hold up in more harsh environments. I would have expected the cover not the webbing to be the weak link but that was not the case.Now I have to go though a warranty request. Hope that is not too painful.
The cover is great! However, as I contacted your company only 2 to 3 weeks after I bought my oven, the temperature gauge does not work. The oven is about three months old. I contacted you and someone told me to do a couple of troubleshooting things, but it is not working. It is not the batteries and the lead Does not even light up the screen. Otherwise I love it. I would like it if you guys would replace my temperature gauge.
It is a phenomenal value. It works exactly as advertised. I have made several pizzas since receiving it as a Christmas gift. We absolutely love the fresh homemade pizza challenge. Its a beautiful piece of simple engineering that works perfectly. The cover keeps it dust free, as I store it in the garage. The Northeast winters are too harsh to leave it outside. It looks so modern and chic. Although we've only made different varieties of pizza, we are committed to try other foods, when the weather breaks a bit here.
The design is superb and the material does an excellent job of keeping the Ooni dry (even in heavy rain), but the manufacturing isn't so great.I love how snugly it fits the oven, and that there's an adjustable strap to secure the cover. They even thought to include a button loop to hold the chimney cover in case you remove the chimney. We had a popup storm and the oven stayed dry.The only down side is the poor construction. I removed it from the box and noticed the stitching along the elastic band was separating. After I stretched it over the oven, the stitching popped free in several places. Although, cost of commercial pizza is going up and we have family pizza night Friday nights so I leaned towards pulling the trigger on purchasing one. I did TONS of research and ooni wins every time. I didn't want to buy something just because it had the name or was popular, but ooni scores highest in any competition. It has the dual fuel source which makes it easy to switch up at the last minute, it heats up FAST and holds the heat. Making a good pizza takes time to learn, but all of ours have been edible and tasty just some tastier than others as we perfect the process. If you have had this page up for days/months "thinking" about buying - do it. I have finally had some warm days here in Denver and have been able to try out the new oven. This new oven was absolutely worth the money and wait It works great with either wood or gas. No offense to the older Koda model which was my first oven, but this one is way easier to use. The heat is more evenly distributed and I don't have to rotate the pizza as much to get an even cook. I would highly recommend the gas burner if you are only doing one pizza at a time. The wood requires more time to warm up and you have to spend more time cleaning the oven out after, but it can be worth it if you are entertaining friends and want to make multiple pizzas.
