I purchased the Ooni Koda 16 - blown away by the quality - top notch. 14" perforated peel, and the speed peel - both great, and really happy with them. So based on these items, I have come to expect quality products from Ooni. This cover is a sad disappointment. If the material were any thiner or lighter you could see through it. It looks like a rain guard you put on a backpack. It adds zero protection to the oven. If they had charged $15 for it, fair enough, you get what you pay for. But in this case, I feel ripped off by Ooni.

This is an attractive way to lightly protect your oven from the elements. One criticism, I have the NG setup and the cover has a snap-strap to retain the regulator. If it was more robust you could coil the quick-disconnect hose and retain it as well but the tension would eventually tear the strap at the stitching and the strap is super short so it won't retain much of the coiled hose as it is designed. I would make the material of the cover twice as thick and add a pocket to house the retained hose ideally, perhaps adding some sort of strap handle to carry it and set the oven down while covered. The cover does have an strap that goes under the belly of the stove so that the cover stays on very securely, however, no ability or intent to be carried.

I can't tell you how much fun we have with our Ooni Koda 16. We were already fans having eaten pizzas out of an original Uuni wood fire oven thanks to my sister-in-law. When we bought our new house, I pre-ordered the Koda and upon arrival put it to work.Out of the box and after the initial seasoning burn, we made pizzas that instantly rivaled our favorite pies in NY. Having just recently moved from Brooklyn to San Diego, having access to killer pizza was a must. The Ooni Koda does this with ease and we maintain at least 1 pizza night a week since its arrival.The hidden surprise was cooking other foods inside the Ooni atop cast iron skillets. I'm glad we got the cover because the oven is kept outside on our back porch and the cover prevents pollen, bugs, small animals & birds from finding their way inside. Upon receiving it though it took some time to figure out how exactly it fit on the oven because the one we received did not match any depiction we could find anywhere for which way to put it on. It's not a universal fit and didn't come with a useful instruction manual. Once we finally figured it out it was fine, and I am glad we have it, but the fit orientation shouldn't have been that difficult to figure out.
I bought this cover to protect my Ooni oven during the winter season. Once it’s installed it fits very snug, which is good.Things I am not a fan of:1. It has a latch design that requires hooking material on to a buckle. Velcro would be much easier and much quicker.2 I have a natural gas model and this cover does not cover the gas line, which I do not leave connected to the gas hook up. I end up cooking up the cable and hiding it underneath the oven.3. The cover does not come off very quickly. I now store my oven inside my garage and the cover is in a cupboard.I might consider using the cover again when the snow is gone but as it is I regret my purchase and would not buy it if I knew then what I know now.
I love its functionality but just wish it was more durable. Mine lasted only one season before literally falling apart. First the loop broke, then the entire strap fell off. It was stored inside over the winter so I think it was degraded by the sun and heat. It lives in Reno, NV which isn’t even the hottest or most sunny place in the world. I’d like not to have to buy a new one every year.

As I type this we've already had a few heavy rain storms and the cover seems to be waterproof.The only reason I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is price. When i took it out of the package it was a lot thinner than I expected. For $50 I thought it would feel a bit more "heavy duty" than it did. For comparison I paid $30 for the cover for my gas grill, which is significantly bigger and has much more material, while also a good bit thicker.I have no worries about the quality or durability of the Koda 16 cover, I just think it's a bit more expensive than it should be. If it were in the $25-30 range, I'd have given it a 5 star rating no problem.I understand the Koda 16 is a newer product, I just hope accessory prices like the cover eventually go down as the popularity of the oven goes up.Overall I'm very happy with the cover, I just think its currently a bit pricey for what it is.
It is mediocre at best. The oven cooks ...just ok. When folded up the legs don't stay in place. It should come with a "carrier" cover but it cost another 50 bucks for a cheap cover that isn't suited to carry the oven. It is awkward to move and or carry as a result.It is certainly way to exspensive especially that it comes just as a oven. No cover, pizza peel or pizza turner paddle or thermometer.As a results its way way to expensive. I plan on returning mine.

I got the Ooni as an alternative to the indoor oven, and as an easier option from the wood fired oven.Overall, I like the Ooni. It gets to temperature quickly, is easy, and I get a good result. However, there are a few issues that one must overcome to make a truly great pizza. The biggest design flaw is that the low flame setting is not low enough. On low, you'll end up with a burnt crust and an undercooked center.The small dome is also part of the problem, but that's what makes the Ooni so convenient: it's small.I have to get the stone to max temperature, put the pizza in, turn the flame off, cook it for a few minutes, rotate a lot, turn the ...
