OPI Nail Envy Samoan Sand 15 ml

This is by far, the BEST nail strengthening product that I’ve ever used. I’ve had thin and brittle nails since I was a teenager. As soon as they grew past my fingertips when they occasionally were able to make it even that long they would consistently chip, crack, rip, peel, and break. I’ve tried carrying a file with me in my purse. I’ve tried keeping them always painted with at least a strengthening clear coat. I’ve tried keeping my hands better moisturized. I’ve tried a bunch of other polishes that claimed to be strengthening or nail repair. I didn’t want to go back to acrylics I briefly had them years ago and they left my nails weaker than ever once removed, but I was tired of always having such weak, short nails and was getting tempted. After some desperate Googling to try and find other options, I stumbled upon an article that recommended Nail Envy and decided to try it. I am SO glad I did. I’ve been using it for about 3 months, and I couldn’t be more impressed. I paint 2 liberal coats on a couple of times a week, either by itself or as a base coat. My nails are now stronger than they’ve EVER been. IN MY LIFE! I’ve been able to grow them out much longer than I ever have, and they look so much healthier! They’ve stopped peeling, rarely chip, and never break. I honestly have never been so impressed with the results I’ve experienced vs. the claims of a beauty product. For the first time, I finally have strong and beautiful nails!

I have always battled with not being able to grow my nails - once they get long enough to look okay, they start getting bendy and flimsy and before long they break off or I pick them off despite not usually picking my nails anymore. If you use this daily, within like a week youll have nice looking nails. The product also lasts a good long while granted, I go through spurts of using it, so Im not using it daily for long periods of time, but I started with a travel size and it took me a couple years and I still havent finished it all the way. Also, I have two screwed up toenails from years of basketball, the nail beds on the longest toe on each foot is wrecked. I never went to see a podiatrist about my toenails, but they always bothered me and sometimes they hurt. Just recently after 6+ years of just living with the nails like that I peeled most of the nail off disturbingly, it essentially peeled down to the nail-bed, not like any normal nail would have, coated it with this product, and decided to wait. Surprisingly, it actually started growing back after zero growth for 6+ years, and, while its still not like a normal nail, it definitely looks a little healthier. 10/10 recommend this product.

Im anemic, have hypothyroidism, and have a long history of chronic nail biting, but I think my nail problems were primarily from my medical conditions than the damage Ive most likely done to my nails over the years. My nails were extremely flimsy, you could bend them all the way back over themselves, if they dried out they lost the flexibility and became brittle, breaking off if you so much looked at them wrong, my toenails are pretty much still that way because Im not interested in showing them off but I have started moisturizing them because it feels good never realized how awful extremely dry nails felt!When the polish is removed, my nails are still pretty flimsy but not to the degree that they were before, like nice thick cardstock vs regular paper. With the polish on, especially the more coats I do, they are super strong and resist damage like crazy! Ive accidentally bent my nails opening bins get them caught on the lid lip and doing various things involving my hands, but they didnt break and while they looked damaged initially they looked completely fine and normal the next day, I was shocked! Like it never happened! In all my life Ive never had that happen with my nails, ever. With one coat I can flex them a little bit, right now I have 3 coats on and I cant flex them at all. Ive done maybe 2 weeks of application now, will update with how things have progressed with more applications, interested to know if my nails will continue getting stronger or stay as they are!I also use a Vitamin E serum on my nails/nailbeds and try to moisturize my hands regularly to also help things. Im also OCD and a chronic hand washer I touch anything slightly, I wash my hands and Ive tried to lessen the amount I wash my hands as well around the house, if we go out Im using sanitizer and washing due to covid!

Overall a great product. Great quality, it doesn’t chip easily, longer durability compared to other brands and has a fair price. That is already enough for me. I can go closer to 3 weeks if I want to. This also dries very quickly. Now, the only cons… this is a very watery nail polish so you need to apply a few times to cover everything, but I can live with that. From all the brands that are currently in the market with a fair price, OPI has been my go to.

with this product ,if it wont bend itll break turns into if it wont break, itll bend painfullyi recommend this if you dont like very long nails. my nails grow quickly and thus get very long, but they are still as prone to snapping as the next healthy persons. Great and lasting results for peeling nails

Really struggle with ordinary polish as my nails peel at the tips. Usually last a few hours before chipping/peeling. This just does not happen with this polish. Lasts for days with no peeling just the usual bumps scraps and bad washing loss. My nails even grow well when it’s on. Highly recommended and a great shade of pink/tea rose. More colours in this range would be great

Not what it appears

Firstly, my nails are definitely longer and stronger but I have been taking Hair Doctor capsules and Zooki collagen for about 5 months now. Next, I find the colours streaky on application and more coats worsens the effect rather than improves. I have observed that the last quarter becomes so thick it is impossible to apply properly so wasted. Finally, my belief is that any nail polish would have the same effect because a) nails are being protected from water b). if you are applying a product you are consciously taking care of your nails.

OPI is good; but......

This product just wouldn't dry! I applied a coat and waited 20 mins and applied a second coat. After 30 mins my nails were still tacky to touch. I removed it and tried again waiting over an hour to apply the next coat. Once again it didn't totally dry. I removed it and applied the original formula and that dried... totally!! Returned this "slightly " pink... which I didn't see any pink in; besides the color in the bottle. Stick with the original formula!

Obsessed - one of the most beautiful nude shade

I started with the nail Envy the matte one and omg it's such a beautiful product. My nails grow 2x the normal length and with some additional care maybe one can grow more. This is just as good as the original with my favourite nude shade. now i don't hv to compromise on colour❤️. Best part is it drys quick. I will repurchase this when my bottle is empty and repeat for ever. In the images i hv 3 coats of nail Envy in samona sand.
