Based on the reviews of Rosy Future OPI nail lacquer I was excited and looking forward to receiving my new nail polish. Wow! What a shock it turned out to be. One coat looked good and I should have stopped right there. Thinking it would look even better with two coats I eagerly added a second as it was easy to apply. One coat gave a beautiful sheer iridescent shimmering look. Adding a second coat gave me neon nails that resembled fluorescent lights. I will continue to use the Rosy Future but only one coat. I am disappointed because I think a manicure with two coats of polish lasts longer. But, the look with one coat is acceptable with top coat layers. This polish is not the winner that I expected but at the same time it is not a total loss either. It has become my favorite light-neutral pink.

This OPI Start to Finish is a different story. From the first moment I used it, I knew it was a winner and I’ve been using it since then. Since using it, my nails don’t chip as easily and also my nails are definitely stronger. It makes the nail polish last longer so if you don’t like painting your nails all the time, this can be the one for you. I’m currently wearing the shade Happy Anniversary, it has a similar effect to the Bella Hadid nail trend that’s still going on. I painted my nails about four days ago. Two coats of polish and no topcoat to test it. So far only my index finger on my right hand has chipped slightly. The polish itself is sheer you can definitely still see my actual nail beneath the two coats. It’s nice if you like that kind of effect, if not I recommend at least one coat of an opaque color beneath the shimmer coat.

OPI is my go to nail polish when I do my own nails at home. The color options are fantastic and this shade Throw Me a Kiss is so pretty. You have to see this shade in person. It's an iridescent light pink. I tested it without a base coat so even with three coats I can still see the whites of my nail underneath. Next time I try this I will put a base coat underneath. I work with my hands everyday and nail polish does tend to chip pretty easily for me. I tried this without a top coat and it did chip within 2 days. This transparent nail polish is the worst I've ever used. Even after extra applications, the next day saw the first signs of chipping and peeling. is meant to last one week. A couple more times were tried, and the longest it lasted before peeling was two days. The finish is also subpar. OPI is meant to be a good brand, thus this is rather shocking. My previous OPI top coat was excellent, but because this one is a three-in-one, I thought I'd give it a go. Big error. not also inexpensive. Never going to purchase

I like how smooth and fast this product dries. The brush is a more thicker, softener which is a plus I like that. I'm not used to using a brush this good when purchasing a nail polish.The brush really makes a difference when you're applying this. I am using this brand for the first time and i will be purchasing in the future. Normally I use more of darker colors then lighter . I would use this color for my granddaughters nails. I like the shine it's beautiful tinted light pink with sparkle glitter. I prefer more of the Matt style when it comes to my nails. The product itself dries fast so that's a plus too. On to this basecoat/topcoat combo. I don’t know if it’s even truly fair to rate it average because to a certain extent, you’re definitely getting what you pay for. If you’re looking to skip steps and use a two in one (vs. Individual base coat topcoat) you probably have to expect slightly lower performance. After all, does anyone really like two in one shampoo? Is a Spork ever as good as a fork or a spoon individually? Anyway, this will protect your nails somewhat from color, and it will also somewhat seal That color in as a topcoat. Discontinued color is well worth buying!

This color (An Affair in Red Square) is a discontinued color, so it's only available via 3rd party sellers. The bottle I received in March, 2023 was manufactured in 2017. That being said, the polish was still liquid and just like new. The color is fantastic. It is a deep red with a glimmer of foil. Let your toes be extra fancy! Additionally, OPI polishes are worth the extra money. The polish rarely chips, and this color is no exception. Your polish should last as long as you want, until you remove it, and this definitely does just that.

I remember glossing over 2 colors for the holidays...they weren't exactly what I had in mind for Christmas/New Year's BUT with St. Valentine's Day around the corner...I remembered these 2 colors and they are perfect for the design/colors I have in mind...I have natural nails, base coat, 2 coats of color-maybe a topper then top coat to seal. I do them myself but do get professional mani's too. I do 1 or 2 accent nails. So I remembered Happy Anniversary. It's a great color made up of tiny tiny micro silver and white. Awesome depth, shine & sparkle. On my olive complexion it wears white w/silver undertones depending on light. My opinion of OPI Nail Polish, specifically Hollywood & Vibe

I have noticed that stores where I used to buy OPI Nail Polish are very low on stock. For instance, Sally's Beauty has a very low supply. When I find a color that I really like, I can no longer find it there. Also, I feel like the nail polishes don't cover as well as they used to do. It takes several coats of the polish to really cover. I really like the color that I ordered from you, Hollywood & Vibe. It is such a light pink and not flashy. I don't like the dark colors as much.
