Simply had to get more of these as although I do buy them with the intention of using with drinks I tend to eat them before they can get anywhere near the spirits. Although these are good all year around they are that little bit special at Christmas time. The cherries are flavour and I like to drink the juice when they are finished. Very nice cocktail cherries when they are used in drinks and they also taste nice for snacking on.

These cherries are really lovely and I agree with other reviewers that they have a distinct marzipan flavour, which is great for me as I love marzipan. They are terribly moreish so I try to console myself after I've polished off a jar that they are sort of one of my five a day. There is one problem, the jar has shrunk but Ocado have not updated the product information. This used o be 225g jar (as advertised) but it's now a 125g jar, which was very disappointing to discover when unpacking my shopping. I suppose it's just another instance of paying more for less and it won't stop me buying these cherries, but Ocado need to make clear to shoppers what they're actually buying.

These are so tasty in a trifle. Chop the cherries and scatter amongst small sponges. Add the juice to some sherry and soak the sponges. No jelly. Just top with custard and cream. Yum!
Love Maraschino Cherries. Have used these in delicious fruit cakes which I send to friends and relatives during lockdown - and they all say how they love the cakes! So glad it is so easy to order from this company.

Tasted of Marzipan. Some liked it, some didnt. Others said it tasted chemically. I thought they were alright. I think simple sugar glazed cherries are better. This flavour is strong.
