Opinel 6VRI Bushwhacker Knife, Sage
The handle of Opinel Colorama Trekking N°06 is constructed with a coloured handle and a stainless steel blade, providing both comfort and durability for the user. Blade length 7 cm Martensitic stainless steel The stainless steel in OPINEL blades is a high-grade material, offering both strong resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear. With a hardness of 55-57 HRC and European origin, this steel is optimized for durability and sharpness, making it ideal for regular use. It requires minimal maintenance in ordinary conditions, but may be affected by prolonged exposure to aggressive environments like acid or salt water. Yatagan blade The Opinel blade has taken on a classic Yatagan shape, inspired by the traditional Turkish saber known as the toe up. Its unique convex profile provides both strength and ease of regrinding. Handle Beech, from France, is the primary material used for crafting the handles of Opinel knives. Renowned for its strength, longevity, and workability, our beech wood boasts a uniform appearance ranging from pale yellow to rosy pink, with scattered dark streaks. Safety ring The Virobloc safety ring, designed by Marcel Opinel in 1955, is a standard feature on all N° 06 folding knives. Made of stainless steel, it consists of two parts - one fixed and one sliding. This design not only locks the blade in the open position for safety during use, but also allows for the blade to be securely locked in the closed position for safe transport.

The blade is razor sharp but Opinel knives don’t feel great quality if I am honest compared to other knives I have handled. The seller was quick to send and it arrived in short order. No box with this one but that’s fine it only would have ended up in the bin anyway.

Opinel makes a great utility knife for the price (~$20). Throw it in your bag, pack, truck, boat, tackle box, etc.

Exactly what you'd expect. The grey color is one of my favorites. My hands are medium in size, and I have a good three-finger grasp. The blade was just a little sharp, but that wasn't a big concern. In general, I have no complaints.
Took it out camping and the knife has held its edge. The walnut handle looks great. It lock is simple and the knife fits well in a pocket. I just find when it's folded that there is a sharp corner.
These knives are fantastic, especially considering the price. This is something I bought for my mom for Mother's Day because she often asks to use mine. The No. 6 is razor sharp right out of the box, and it's small enough to fit in a handbag or on a key chain without being inconvenient. If you need an EDC knife, get the no. 8 or 9.
Vibrant Opinel knife - great for gardening and small greenhouse work/cuttings etc. perfect gift for enthusiastic gardeners as colour means " its mine" and also noticeable when you put it down and then "cant find it".
This knife is a little stockier for heavier use. I use it in my garden for pretty much everything! Will cut through old raspberry canes...and crush earwigs!
