This knife is well balanced and has a great handle making is easy to hold. I am replacing a lighter weight knife that did not feel safe when being used. I love how this knife feels and performs.

I currently own 2 Opinel paring knives and another that folds up and I bring to pare apples for my lunch. When I found I needed a new chef's knife and saw this one on Food 52, it was a no brainer. So glad I pulled the trigger. The knife is lovely, well balanced and scary sharp. Love Opinel products!!!
