This phone is a great device, from the screen, camera, storage, and performance they just all stand out. Hardware is honestly some of the best for the price and competes with Apple and Samsung with ease. The biggest issue is software and support by oppo. Android auto was broken for 1 year until recently there was new updates from C.68-C.72 that helped fix these and other major bugs that it had. A quick google search will confirm how bad it really is. But sadly as of today C.72 is now also playing up andorid auto and will work and who knows how long it will take to fix. There are also users having issues with the mic not working in apps such as recording(Stock app), whatsapp, messenger basically most third-party apps. This is the best phone I have ever owned or used, no doubt about it. I had a Huawei P20 Pro before the Oppo and was tempted to keep it and not take my upgrade. My wife had recently gone from the P20 Pro to Samsung S20 and she doesn't like the S20 a lot and I wasn't impressed with it. Then I came across Oppo and saw the specs of it. It's fast. Very fast, does everything very quickly. The camera is exceptional. I have a DSLR and bought a Sony RX100 just before getting the Oppo. The Sony is now for sale as the camera on the phone is just as good, but with a massive zoom. It shoots RAW as well, so better than any phone I've come across. Compared with a friend's iphone 11 and it's far better. Very little editing on the photos, just cropping. Video capture is brilliant as well, the slow-mo recording is something special. Screen quality is excellent. Fast charging is very fast, about 30-40 mins for a full charge, I think. Fingerprint and face recognition is quick and accurate. Speaker is good for music or handsfree use. Very little bloatware Only downsides are No wireless charging Battery life is good, rather than brilliant. It's not cheap, but is cheaper than Samsung etc Basically, if you want a high end Android phone, get it.

Been using this phone for a couple of weeks and am very happy with it. I cannot fault it, I was surprised how quickly updated itself from Colour/Android OS version 9 to 11.The point and click photos are great. The quality of the photos in night mode blew me away, it actually picked up stars that I could not see. The selfie camera is also the best I've ever owned as well.JB had this phone up on special, after I compared then all this purchase was a no brainer. If you cannot pick this phone up on special I would consider current flagships instead.

The smoothest operating and fastest charging phone I have ever had. Boots up quickly. Keyboard is a delight with no freezing and seems to flow seamlessly from one operation to the next. Super Vooc charging is as fast as the manufacture claim it to be and battery life is also extremely good giving up to two days in normal use. There are two optional battery saving modes that can provide even longer use between charging. I first deleted off some of the Manufacture apps that are of little use and just use up storage space and battery power. The speaker quality on my one is superb but I had another with lots of echo with the speaker on and faster discharge on the battery so it was returned. The speaker quality on my one is superb but I had another with lots of echo with the speaker on and faster discharge on the battery so it was returned. Like all modern manufactured products not all are as good as others and the Friday Afternoon versions still exist. It does seem that if you get a good Oppo find x2 pro you get a great phone. Shame it is only single sim but how many of us actually use a dual sim facility? Photo quality seems very good. Easy to use screen shot option. For a technophobe like me the Oppo clone phone was a godsend easily transferring all my data, apps and contacts. Sturdy metal framed construction with edge to edge screen.
So I've owned a Realme phone before so I knew pretty much what I'd be getting, but on a much better scale.Screen is gorgeous, vibrant, punchy and adaptive. You can pretty much do what you want.Camera is very good, taken some nice shots even from the selfie camera!Updates have come through, was initially very surprised that the Security on this thing was dated back to May 2020, but that soon rectified once my phone was in use for a few days. I think I got September 2020, March 2021 and then Android 11/ColorOS11 came through about one week later!I went for the vibrant orange vegan leather option, thought it would be a little different, glad I did as it does look very cool! Using the tpu case that came free in the box, thanks Oppo!Wired fast charging is just ... MoreSo I've owned a Realme phone before so I knew pretty much what I'd be getting, but on a much better scale.Screen is gorgeous, vibrant, punchy and adaptive. Using the tpu case that came free in the box, thanks Oppo!Wired fast charging is just that, 65W. 0-100% in a little over 30 minutes. Pretty stunning! 15 minute charge gives you roughly 60% battery back. I love the adaptive charging, so when my phone is on DnD and plugged in, it will charge slowly overnight (trickle charge) to save battery conditionThere are a few things that I'm not impressed by, the stereo speakers sound a little drowned out. My Realme phone had great speakers for listening to music say whilst cooking!Software niggles, other than the strange upgrade cycle, had two security updates in the same evening, DnD doesn't properly activate which drives me mad! I still receive loud notifications which shouldn't happen!!! Help! I took to Social Media and Oppo support pages, to find there is a glitch in the software, but no mention as to it being fixed?!I believe that this phone may get a couple of years support to keep its security and OS up to date!I give the phone 7.5/10. I did expect just a little bit more for a phone up against the Samsung line - supposedly worth over £1000, glad I got mine on discount!Don't get me wrong I do like the phone I just don't love it.
Not the fantastic phone I expected given it's original price. Fantastic screen, fast performance & stunning design and build quality. But the battery life is absolutely hideous especially if using cameras. Cameras are good but ultra wide is a tad underwhelming given it's 48mp sensor, zoom camera is sharp and detailed but has alot of noise & often takes hazy looking images. Main camera is decent but white balance is often too cool or blueish.
Came from a note 9 and thought I'd miss the stylus but was really excited to see what this phone could do.Cameras are night and day more advanced, not talked about enough is the 512 storage as standard.Charging is *omg* good. So much so I have totally changed the way I charge my phone. I don't like using other chargers as it feels like I am depriving my phone of the good stuff, like putting inferior petrol in a supercar. It also hides the *not the biggest* battery which could be an issue but if the phones getting low after an early start or intense day, literally 15 mins gets you another half days usage. So I don't miss wireless charging at all. Not one bit.Screen is incredible, buttery smooth and fast, great colours and it makes others say "wow what is that?" ... MoreCame from a note 9 and thought I'd miss the stylus but was really excited to see what this phone could do.Cameras are night and day more advanced, not talked about enough is the 512 storage as standard.Charging is *omg* good. Not one bit.Screen is incredible, buttery smooth and fast, great colours and it makes others say "wow what is that?" when showing them content.A few little software niggles at first had me doubting my choice but now they've all been ironed out with smooth updates and the bog coloros11 launch imminent. My only gripe is the use of 3rd party launchers is a little hampered, not a deal breaker, the standard launcher is good it just has one or two quirks or missing features like most standard launchers.Nearly 6 months in, I find myself wanting for nearly nothing, and still haven't seen a new phone where I have thought... I am outdated or I want that. All in all pretty much perfect for the power user and it's nice to be a little individual.
If the lack of wireless charging doesn't concern you - This handset rivals the best of Samsung/Apple. High-end specs, gorgeous screen and 512GB non-expandable storage, is more than ample. Blazing fast 65W VOOC charging is impressive and battery holds up admirably - Especially considering screen resolution, peak brightness and 120Hz max refresh rate! ColorOS UI is unobtrusive and allows for a high degree of customisation. The camera array debuts Sony’s new IMX689 sensor, which I believe provides an exceptional photography/video experience/result (some great Pro settings built in too). Lastly, the phone just looks great - A superb build and refined design. I'm exceedingly satisfied with my choice!
Having not heard of Oppo before, I was skeptical when the guy instore suggested this device for me in my local store. However, after doing a little research I thought I would give it a go and I have to admit to being very impressed. The most important thing for me on a device is Battery and this device has not let me down. I must confess to being a little worried in the first few days as although it charged faster than any device I have ever had, it run down fairly quickly. However, after about a week that sorted itself out and I have never had a problem since. As I said the Charging speed is incredible, the response from the touch screen is razor-sharp and multitasking it handles with ease. I changed from IPhone to Android, and wow what a phone. So fast and the screen and sound is amazing. The camera is brilliant, but I think the software needs adjusting in places. The battery lasts all day and even if you need a quick boost a quick 10 minute charge is all you need. 32 minutes and the battery is fully charge. Looking forward to coloros11 in December. It has been a bit of a learning curve coming from having iPhone all my life but so glad I swapped
