Product could be cheaper, given it's an online purchase and postage is charged on top of it. In addition to this, each individual box came wrapped in bubble wrap and these were packed with more inflated plastic cells around them?? Why?? Such an unnecessary and irresponsible use of plastic on very non fragile items. Please reconsider both the items you fragile pack and the materials you use to do so. There are many eco friendly options available. I'd probably just buy from store next time.

Well if you want a chocolate mousse packed with protein this is the way to go. It has an edge to it that I don't like in its flavour. Texture perfect. Serving size too big. Usually add to end of meal to finish on something a little sweet..it is not overpowering..they have that right. Because it is in individual packets a bit hard to split it in to 2 servings which I always forget to do..not on a diet..but it adds to the protein level in my meal when I haven't eaten meat.

Confused by the positive reviews of this product. A pre op diet required me to try numerous Optifast products. Unfortunately, I started with the Chocolate Dessert. Despite being hungry, three mouthfuls was all I could force down. My husband thought it tasted like a cross between olive oil and transmission fluid. The Protein Plus Coffee Shake was also truly awful. I would have given up, but I had no choice but to try the other Optifast products. To my surprise, the regular Assorted Shake x 10 pack and Banana Shake x 12 pack are nice. In fact, I still occasionally drink them even though my diet is finished.

I’ve tried a few different shakes and when I saw the chocolate dessert, I had to try it. Well shock horror it was great. I now had a diet conscious dessert, guilt free, being a chocoholic and love sweets this was great. I’ve lost weight and still getting my chocolate kick. Now I have it every morning instead of Milo for breakfast and just by putting a little more milk or water I end up with a great tasting THICK shake. I do hope that Optifast dessert chocolate is continually available and never change the recipe.
This is my absolute favourite product. If you're a choccy fan like me, there's nothing worse than being on a diet and not being able to have your chocolate treat. This diet is different, i look forward to my choccy snack every night. It's absolutely delicious, just like having a mouth watering bar of my favourite chocolate without feeling guilty. Yummy! Got a sweet tooth? Love chocolate flavours? Then this will make you happy - it is a seriously good dessert, nothing about it says €˜'diet'. I find a whole one a bit much so I use half and crumble a bar on top and mix it up, a really tasty and sweet treat at the end of the day for me. It stops me breaking my diet. I brought this today. Very excited. I came home made it up and put it in the fridge and made my Optifast strawberry smoothly. Drank the smoothly and thought awe I will try the choc dessert. 3 spoons in and decided it has an over amount of choc or a very artificial taste. Put back in the fridge and wait until hubby tries it. A bit disappointed
Versatile product Can be used as a whole meal replacement, on its own Or divide into two and accompany with few fresh fruits for a breakfast or dessert. In this way I found it tasty while the small amount (100g) of blackberries or raspberry or blueberries made it interesting while maintaining the calorie figure of 213.The texture and the flavour was nice.I did try to freeze into a ice cream but I found the texture was icy and not pleasent. I totally enjoyed these desserts! I have a sweet tooth so these really satisfied my cravings. The consistency is nice and thick once you let it rest and it feels like a treat. It is a little like a chocolate angel delight just a little less sweet.
