My cat is quite fussy when it comes to her tastebuds and stomach so when i prepare her dinner and put it down for her to eat, she takes her time. A couple of bites and licks here and there, then she pauses to look around and then continues again. When i opened the Healthy Optimjm packet, its like she knew she was getting something healthy but amazing because she was all around my feet looking up. As soon as i put her bowl down, its like she has never eaten before and just gobbled gobbled and goobled without taking a break! I was so happy! Not only does she love it, but its also healthy at the same time. I ended up going to woolies and purchasing some packets.Happy cat - happy life :)

My big boy loved the chicken in jelly. Being on the larger side it was good for potion control and he ate the lot- jelly first and then the chicken. He licked the bowl clean and continued licking his whiskers for a while after. He often vomits wet food maybe because he scoffs it- but he kept this down. Good it helps manage a healthy weight.

Optimum Healthy Weight Favourites Chicken in Jelly is a good quality product. My cat who is an overweight, fussy, 11 year old cat, cleaned the bowl. Its a good ratio of meat to jelly. Maybe a slighty larger sized pouch if using for weight control. I wouldnt pair with dry food as well. But would recommend this.

I really love this product, it ticks so many boxes. My cat who is generally fussy with wet food loves the taste. She is also getting less exercise over winter so a product which promotes healthy weight and is nutritionally balanced is perfect. The convenient tear pouches makes it so easy at feed time. Great product and quality.

This one though...loves it. The first pouch I actually wasn't too sure about the product because the first time I gave it to her my kitten ate it all, then a short while later vomited it up. I was concerned it was the cat food causing it. Well, I tried it again a few days later and let her have half first, then the rest later. I think the issue the first time was she actually enjoyed it so much she ate it too fast and gorged herself on the cat food and that's why she was sick lol. I had 3 pouches of this product, and fed them to Venus on 3 different days, at different times. She ate most of the first pouch quite quickly, but left some which she finished off later. She usually has fish meals, so the chicken was something new for her. On the 2nd and 3rd occasions she lapped up the jelly, but ate a small amount of the chicken. She finished it off later.
My cat can be a finicky eater, usually only eats fish cat food and normally will only eat freshly cooked chicken. So I didn't think he would eat this but he cleaned his bowl. Not something he usually does. Good size for portion control for the more portly pussy cats. Nice texture, not runny and held together on the plate.
I received a selection of Optimum Healthy Weight Wet Cat Food Chicken in Jelly pouches but sadly it was not enough to give a fully thoughtful review trying to feed 5 cats.However, the pouches were very well received by the kitties and not a morsel was left over in any bowl.I would recommend these for people with maybe one or 2 cats. It would become much too costly to feed more animals these pouches.
Easy release from the sides so none gets left behind. Smell was encouraging from other pouches we have tried. Barely got time to sit back at my desk and cat came looking for more! But NO my little piglet only gets what she is supposed to no matter how many times she meows at me as she is chubby enough as it is.
