I've used Optimum Nutrition whey protein for ages. When I noticed that I was starting to experience Eddie Hall -like dehydration levels when working out, I decided to take a look if my trusted brand had anything to offer. I found this Train + Sustain intra workout powder and decided to give it a go. Gotta say this stuff really works as I'm feeling more hydrated and energetic in training. The Apple-Pear taste is absolutely delicisious and I'm not going to even try the other tastes. I'm using around 2 scoops (using the one that came with the container) per 0.5-0.7 litres of water and I feel like I'll get more than 28 servings out of it before it runs out. Pro tip: This stuff is great for avoiding/minimizing hangovers so drink a serving the day you go out drinking and ... MoreI've used Optimum Nutrition whey protein for ages. I always use this as my intra-workout drink during my weightlifting sessions, and basketball games. It mixes very well so you don't get clumps, and it tastes great (strawberry and kiwi). Highly recommended. I feel great when I take this drink, I don't feel too sore after my sessions and I feel like I can keep up with my workout/ game sessions consistently without feeling drained or fatigued. Placebo, who knows, but I want to say that the drink plays some part in my performance.

Great taste (raspberry and pomegranate flavour), not too sweet or artifical, really does taste of raspberries fresh from the field/packet! Nice inclusion of electolytes as well as the essential BCAAs, not sure the inclusion of vitamins worthwhile TBH though in a BCAA drink. Mixes well with water with no clumping. Would like to see the price a little lower, its a small tub (260g) yet almost the same price as Grenade BCAAs which come in a 390g tub and are much better value.

I had Pear and Apple. It tastes ok at the beginning, later it lies in your stomach and refuses to be digested. I kept on feeling the "flavor" of this thru most of the day (drunk it in the morning) , and I was burping of this as well, made my stomach slightly upset. Also day after which is today, I am even more sore than yesterday, so I doubt they work at all. I workout 5 times a week for about 1 hour (mixed strength and cardio). As of now it's 2 stars from me, taste wise it's ok. Will update in about 2 weeks of taking it.
I like ON Amino Energy but, I noticed that I didn't get the same energy as before. Not only that there was an energy crash for a few hours afterward. After using it for about a month (used approx half of the container) I bought a batch a few months ago, and the difference is amazing. Great energy, no crash. Not sure what the issue is, but the quality of this product from MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP is junk sometimes!
I started adding this to my training regime a few months ago, it has made a big impact and contributing to my overall hydration during and post workout. BCAA's are what everyone knows and loves, but the addition of the electrolytes is what is key here, the daily replenishment is what make the difference with hydration. The company I find really good and their supplements I find really good and the quality is awesome. The apple and pear flavour is also my favourite.
I wanted to wait a bit before leaving a review and after two weeks of use, I think it's time. The product is really good. I've never used sustain supplements before during my workouts, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I've definitely felt a difference with it, it helps me to push my last few reps and squeeze out the needed energy to finish. The taste is alright, not the best but after a few uses, you get used to it. Quick disclaimer; a family member tried it as well and said they had a weird feeling in their stomach from it, I personally haven't had any problems with it, just be mindful your body might react differently to it.
I've previously bought BCAAs to help with soreness after working out, and saw this on offer during Express day and thought why not try it. Best purchase EVER! I've been using it for just over a week now and soreness is practically gone, even after leg day. I drink it while I work out and at first the taste is weird (I bought strawberry & kiwi) but now I love it and look forward to drinking it. Definitely will be buying again as I am a wimp and cannot stant being sore after working out, it puts me off. Very happy with this purchase.
It's great to mix and tastes ok, like cheap plastic cola drinks you had when a kid. However, it gives me the worst reaction ever... I mean do not leave the house after taking it like I did! A warm up run could turn in to a nightmare. I kept with it and used it 4 times but my stomach is not getting used to it at all and the day after is like a scene from the 300! Will never buy again, waste of money to me. Might be different to you but I wouldn't risk it.
It is ok ???? if you drink this during the day when suffering from muscles pains and feeling a bit tired . I got recovered quite effectively and managed to head to gym again on the same day . But this doesn't work during the training session to boost energy etc . I prefer pre work out as massive booster . And take the BcAA tablets after my training. It tastes a bit bitter for me too. During the session I prefer to take mineral water rather than sugary drink for my teeth protection.
