I recently received this Optimum Nutrition Gild Standard 100% Plant Protein in Chocolate. The product is easy to use. I like that it comes with a scooper to get the exact measurement needed for a serving. I like that it contains 24 grams of protein per serving. My experience using this product was that on its own, just the powder and liquid; it was not flavorful. I preferred using the powder blended with almondmilk, 2 dates, and a teaspoon of cocoa powder. I would prefer if this product didn’t contain brown rice syrup and “natural flavor.” I’ve used this product at least six times and I personally didn’t notice any differences at this time. And that’s using the product just powder and liquid three times and blended with addins three times.

This protein is easy to drink with a blender bottle. The chocolate tastes really good and the texture when mixed in water is rich and creamy. The benefits of this for the short time period I have been taking it have been helpful for me. Building more lean muscle and feeling more energized through my day. 24 grams of plant based protein and I’m feeling like I’m on the right track to get my health and fitness in line. Zero sugars in this so that is a big win. The bag has an easy to operate slider on it that is easy to open and close. The scooper inside the bag is helpful for accurate measuring. Enjoying this after my workouts for refueling.

I also appreciate that Optimum labels this as gluten free, which is something I like for.
