Optimum Nutrition - Serious Mass 5.44kg / Chocolate

I bought this mass gainer after losing a few pounds due to health reasons. I used to try and drink mass gainer before but it never sat right with me, either it tasted horrible or resulted in nausea the whole day. Serious mass has been tremendous. I went from 137 pounds to 152 in a little bit more than two weeks. Keep in mind I was really skinny when I started so I gained fast, now it is much much slower. Also, a few recommendations on how to drink it. I use milk, which adds more calories and has a better taste. I also use peanut butter, Nutella, and a banana. Maybe adding both Nutella and peanut butter isn't the best idea but I was aiming at 4k calories a day so it felt necessary for me. Still, do try and mix it up, the taste gets boring very very fast. Best Shake Ever!!!

Not sure why people don’t like the vanilla I love it!!! Just now as excited to try the other flavours of vanilla is said to be the worst ha! I absolutely love this shake and how much calories I can get from just one drink!! I struggle to gain weight (appetite and fast metabolism issues) and this is THE best I have ever tried. I love how it does not have all of that nonsense thickening agents (guar gum, xanthan gum, etc) that makes protein shakes taste terrible! I hate the slippery and heavy texture it gives so I am absolutely thrilled that I found this one that has none of those nasty ingredients! Please don’t ever change the formulation it’s perfect!!

I switched to this after researching similar powders and mainly because of the ingredients list + it has creatine and vitamins to cover all bases. Have tried banana and chocolate peanut butter (banana bit sickly at the end of the tub, choc peanut is my favorite so far). I'm using this to maintain weight (athletic build), whilst training for a marathon alongside my regular workouts. This has helped to increase my muscular gainz primarily with high weight / low rep exersises (eg push/pull/squat). Great either before / after a workout, easy to mix in a shaker, easy to digest. Good before a long run or cycle as it fills me up without bloating. Great at gaining weight and strength, especially if you are a hard gainer

Serious Mass has helped me to go from 159 lbs. to 167 lbs. in about 2 months, and that is with half a serving a day. I went from 153 lbs. to 159 lbs. by eating more and strength training and then hit a wall. At 55 years and 5'9" I simply couldn't eat the amount of food required to gain more weight and strength. And as long as I still see gains while working out I will continue to go with half a serving a day. I blend a handful of frozen strawberries and frozen sliced banana with 12 oz of cold water until smooth, add half a serving of Serious Mass, blend it and then add 12 oz of whole milk for another short burst. This results in a good tasting drink that is not frothy. I take it to work in a thermos bottle and usually finish it within 5 hours. I have been using ON Whey Protein since I started working out, one serving with 12 oz of whole milk in the morning with breakfast, and then one serving with 8 oz of cold water 30 minutes after my workout in the evening. Serious Mass is a great addition that has been helping me meet my daily protein goals, gain weight and strength at the same time.

Great taste and texture

I got this product a few days ago. It tastes very good, unlike most shakes. When I blended it with milk and water, it was smooth (the thickness really depends on how much water-or whatever fluid-you add to it) and very easy to drink. It kinda tastes and smells like vanilla milkshake. I blended 2 heaped scoops with milk and water. However, I felt bloated and had slight abdominal discomfort almost all through the day. I guess I should have started with one scoop (as suggested for new users). All in all it seems good, I would just need to reduce to one scoop and keep using.

Ridiculously Overpriced Product You Can Avoid

This is garbage. Do the math by reading the label. It costs a ton of money to get less nutrition than the Equate brand. Again - don't take my word for it - READ THE LABEL AND COMPARE. You need 322 grams of this crap to get 50 grams of protein. Read the Equate brand - you need about 1/5th of that amount. $28 to get four (4) servings. Do the math - that's $6.50 per serving. No big value there. You are paying for marketing. I won't buy this company's products any more now that I realize it is only about the money and I stupidly bought this because I was in a hurry.

Serious Mass

I really enjoyed using this product, I was able to successfully bulk up to approximately 230 pounds. However, I do have a few gripes with this product. For the price, I really do wish that it had more servings. 50 dollars and only 8 servings is a lot of money to be paying per serving. There are many more things that can bulk you up for cheaper. not only that but the mass gaining ingredients in this product consist almost exclusively of sugars, which isn't good if your are trying to maximize muscle growth for your bulk. You may find yourself gaining more fat instead. Setting that aside this will definitely help you gain weight fast, and I will recommend this product especially if you have a hard time gaining weight.

Tasted great, especially when combined with full fat yoghurt, milk & almond butter. HEALTH WARNING - soon after using this product, my periodic blood test showed a significant decline in kidney function. 3 months later, similar results. My consultant mentioned that these results are common in younger people who take supplementary weight/muscle gain products. I immediately cancelled my subscription to this product. Fast forward to today and after another blood test my kidney function has returned to normal. not able to check authenticity; causing pimples;

I tried to put the code on the website to check the authenticity but I'm unable to do so. The website responds nothing!!!! also, I've drunk this mass gainer for 5-7 times over a period of 2-3 weeks and noticed that it's causing immense bloating and pimples on my face!!! I'm never going to use it again. health-wise also, I believe it's best if we use whey protein instead of mass gainer. you can have a banana oats smoothie everyday and it gives you visible result!! something like mass gainer is definitely going to be harmful for your body!!! think before you invest your money!
