Optimum Nutrition Superior Amino 2222 - 160 Tablets

This product has brought me great joy with the well balanced nutrition the body needs to develop muscle tissue for weight lifting. Been with this product for a few years since the 90's!!!! I recommend keeping this Amino for all to enjoy as it also helps with the endurance of life!!!

To start, I bought these because they were the cheapest per dose of anything I could find. I even bought two bottles because they were half off. I kinda regret that. The bottle says "easy to swallow 2-pill serving" That is like saying Everest is just a small hill in your backyard. These things are huge, and for the first few times taking them I would gag or even cough them back up. I got used to them after a bit and only had issues with them once in a while, until this morning when I went to take some and they got stuck in my throat, causing severe pain. For 15 minutes I was hunched over a bowl in agonizing pain, gagging and dry-heaving, coughing up bloody mucous and just generally not having a good time. The only reason I didn't give these a 1/10 is that they are cheap for what you get out of them. But seriously ON? You couldn't maybe make these pills smaller, and just have us take a 4 pill serving? I'm not about to leave ON for another company but it baffles me that someone approved these things. I can swallow pills easier than anyone I've met, people think its weird...yet these are too much. I wouldn't give these to a horse.

I rated it a 7 because Im not positive they work. I take 2 before my workout with my preworkout. On some days, usually after leg, back, and chest days, I take another 2 the next morning because Im sore. I do feel that I feel pain for additional days when I do not take the pills, but it could be mental. For everyone rating these low for swallowing. I am not a big guy, Im not a big power lifter, Im a smaller leaner guy. I have no problem swallowing these pills. You need to make sure you have a full glass of something before swallowing. Take big gulps to help them go down and you wont have issues.

Get it ON!!

I was given these ON Superior Amino 2222 Tabs to review. I am NOT disappointed. I noticed results within the first 2 weeks of this product arriving. The packaging is super simple to use and states that these tabs are easy to swallow. While I didnt suffer too many issues trying to swallow one whole I do recommend making sure you have enough water in your mouth to coat the product before taking it down. I do feel as though my muscles are developing more but the amount of times you have to take these tabs is a bit much. 4 for a workout and 2 before eating each time came out to be about 10 a day. I ended cutting that dosage in half and still saw results.

Good supplement

This is a descent supplement. It gives added amino acids into my diet. I didn't notice any change while using this product though. I didn't notice increased recovery rate, muscle gain, or less soarness. I guess it's not a product you can tell if it is helping or not. I received this product for free for testing purposes.

Hard to swallow

It works great if you can get it down your throat but, these things are horse pills. I have chocked multiple times due to the size even in haled water because one was so stuck. Please either use less filler if there is some in there and make them smaller and increase the number of pills and daily dosage to match current volume. These are very hard to swallow if I have not been clear enough. The effect once taken is great. I would suggest at least half the size they are now or make them the size of an Excedrin or Tylenol. I can't recommend till size is changed. (See Picture)

My main goal in my workouts is to gain strength. I have taken the aminos for about 8 months now and I can still feel when I forget to take them. My muscles are significantly more sore and tight when I haven't taken the pills. When I do take them, I barely even get sore, no matter how strenuous the workout.I highly recommend these pills! I love the results -

I love the results - I feel like it positively impacts my mood, weight, appetite, energy, workouts, sleep, recovery and muscles! I definitely look and feel better.I do hate that I have to crush them up. It is literally the biggest pill I have ever seen/taken. It feels like a dam in my esophagus. I felt like I had to deep throat it and I literally needed an entire bottle of water to get it down and I still wasn't confident it went all the way down. I initiatially tried cutting them in half but they were super sharp and felt like I was swallowing really wide swords. I recommend crushing them. :)Positive outweighs the negative, for sure.

Sorry for long review.._x000d_I just love this product! and i will buy this again and again. You can use this anytime a day, If you feel hungry and you dont have anything near you, just eat two tabs and for sometime your hunger will go away. you dont even need water, just chew them and taste is also not bad, these are more like amino candy. and main reason why i liked this product because it has enzymes!. They have written Easier to swallow but ignore that! The tabs are biggest size, Ofcourse you can swallow but you might hurt your throat someday.

Too Big

The size is just to much for a person my age. It grates on my throat, causing esophageal pain and discomfort. I often wind up gagging them back up to try swallowing it again. A real pain in the butt. The price is excellent though and I've just read a review where the person said they blend them into their sports drinks, so maybe I'll try that. If they would make them just a bit smaller and allow for say 4 doses instead of 2 that would work also. I like the product - I just hate freaking out that I'm going to choke to death on one of these and that that would be my epitaph, lol.
