I bought the Banana flavour shakes because there were good reviews and I normally like banana flavour... but these taste absolutely horrible. Luckily it’s only 200ml of water mixed with it so it can be drank quickly enough. They are quite filling which is good, but need to improve the taste.

Same feedback as with the caramel one. Should just titled be LCD not VLCD but again this one also tastes delicious and can easily be mixed in 400-500mls of water with it still tasting fantastic and making you feel filler for longer. Also HIGHLY RECCOMEND mixing it with i scoop of Vital Strength Mango flavour pre workout. The 2 flavours together are absolutely delicious. Tastes like a tropical milkshake.... its the bomb! But dont mix with milk, just water!

When added to 200ml of water it is too salty but has a bit of a banana taste. I had to add an extra 200ml to make it drinkable but then it doesn’t have much of a banana taste. Still kinda salty though. I’ll make myself drink it now that I already have it but I wouldn’t recommend or repurchase.

This is my favourite so far out of the 3 flavours I purchased: banana, strawberry and salted caramel. I just wished the VLCD range also came with a variety pack so I can try all the flavours. I found that this also dissolves better than the strawberry and salted caramel flavours or maybe I just bought a bad batch of those two. It works as long as you stick to the diet and I'm losing 1 kg a week on average with the steady weight loss.
I haven’t bought shakes for well over 10 years but I was browsing when my daughter was at Chemist Warehouse and just happened to look at this one. Initially I thought how could 40gr fill someone for a meal ? But they were on special for $25 so I thought I’d try it and bought the Banana one and I use it in my Ninja. 300 mls cold water, some ice and shaken for around 90 sec produces a frothy drink that has a lovely taste. I’m onto my 3rd Box and the thrill is when someone says to you “ wow have you lost weight?” 1 st week lost 3 kg. ! I do 2-3 shakes a day, after all when it is hot is the best time to do it.
Amount in each sachet of 43g is not sufficient. After mixing with water/milk it doesn't seem to have enough body. The 60g sachets of 10 are a better option, even though the cost is higher.
Tatse is okay, powdery. Best combind with very cold water and I liked to blend it in my nutribullet for a couple of seconds. As a meal replacement It does fill you up, i'm not hungry afterwards. I also like how packed it is with vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Paired with a professionally approved VLCD this product does work. Excellent results, worth the higher price point.
Loved the taste, it became addictive and when I stopped taking them I missed the taste. I drank 1 milkshake per day for 20 weeks and I lost 10 kg over that time. Great product
Immediately regretting my decision to skimp and buy the cheaper brand. My advice would be to spend the extra money and buy Optifast. The Optislim is watery and gross and seems to have about half of the powder than the more expensive brands. I’ve taken to adding milk powder to these shakes so they’re not so watery but the taste is still foul :(
When made with icy cold water these meal replacement shakes are quite nice; and they are doing the job.
