Would not recommend, the aftertaste is not something you want to deal with. I thought that when I bought this it would be the best out of them as the other reviews had suggested. However both the Chicken and this Pumpkin one were disgusting. When I look at the opened boxes in my pantry with one satchel removed from each I die a little inside knowing I spent 20 bucks a pop for something I will never ingest again.

I like this product. It's a good replacement to having just the shakes all the time. By itself it's not great but, adding some seasoned (I love chilli and garlic) stir fry or roasted veges to it, makes it actually really nice.

I don't know any diet soups that are good enough for a restaurant. Strongly suggest, as per instructions, do not use boiling water. I also found it better to sift out the soup into a cup to remove any parsley.
The pumpkin soup is pretty nice (when compared with the VLCD tomato flavour), but also has a slightly over-sweet flavour that can be improved with the addition of herbs, spices and veggies. We sauteed capsicum and zucchini with some jerk seasoning and a dash of white balsamic vinegar before adding the soup and it was great!
Not my favourite of their soups. There is a strange after taste that I can’t quite place. Is filling and a good alternative to a shake on a cold day.
Taste Good. Nice winter warmer cup a soup. Gives a filled stomack feeling. . Unable to measure the health or weight loss capacity at this state.
I just started Optislim this week and I am overall happy so far but the creamy chicken soup VLCD is the worst thing I have ever tasted. Unpalatable. Doesn’t even have a chicken flavour taste. Stick to the tomato - much better (or at least edible).
A surprisingly sweet soup, but a good base to add other approved ingredients, like chopped spinach, basil and garlic.
Was surprised at the taste - didn’t taste like that paste glue like some do. Quite enjoyed it. Still got lumps in it somehow though.
