Optistart Original Kitten with Chicken 400 Gr Pro Plan

We were struggling to wean him off pouches. He would eat very little dry food all day and we would break and give him a pouch which he would wolf down. Not anymore. He loves The Pro Plan optistart kitten food. His head is down and he gobbles every meal right down in 2 goes at the most. He is eating the recommended amount in only dry food now and this is within 4 days of using it. He also seems more settled. Highly recommended for those lazy fur babies.

I was excited to try Thor on the ProPlan Dry kitten food as dry food seems to always work best for his sensitive tummy. However usual cat food has an awful awful smell and he turns his nose up at quite a few brands, upon opening the pack of food he started meowing as if he was shouting for it, haha. He absolutely loved it! He didn’t turn his nose up to it at all, which shocked me. It didn’t have an awfully strong smell it was more “real” turkey smell rather than processed/chemical strong smell I’ve noticed previously with other foods. My Kitten Buddy will eat just about anything (shoes included!!) But dry food can be hit and miss!! Previous brands he would nibble at however Purina Pro Plan hits the spot. Upon pouring into his bowl, he immediately started tucking in and regularly has empty food bowls. We always make sure he has dry food and water while we're at work so he can nibble throughout the day. This is the first time his food bowl has been empty regularly. The results? His coat is shinier, hes happier and he can't wait for his next meal!! We will certainly buy these again and continue with them as he grows!!

I am sure it is a very good, nutritious food and I have heard great things about it, however, my cat just wouldn't eat it. She is generally very fussy eater, so I can't say I wasn't expecting this outcome. The food, however, is nutritionally perfect for kittens to help their growth, following weaning, so would definitely recommend it to everyone to try.

I have a cat - Siberian breed. And he loved this dry food, he is 9 months old and the size of the pieces involved are good enough for my baby. He seemed eager to eat it and enjoyed it and was always waiting for his top-up! His fur seems to be shinier and healthier too. Also, the size of the pack is great as it is enough for some time.

I got a very fussy cat at home so I'm usually stick to the brand which I know. Purina Pro plan become another favourite food which my fussy cat accepted. The bag is pretty big so my cat will have food for really long time. Also cat's hair looks good and his toilet is not stinky any more which is very important in our case. I'm more than happy to buy another bag of Purina Pro.

Our 10 month old kitten absolutely loves this! She is very much a wet pouch kinda girl so I was pleasantly surprised when she wolfed the kibbles down. It helps fill her up in between meal times. I have tired her with other dried foods in the past and she's not been too keen, they are really small kibbles too so perfect for her little teeth!

From exploring the box to tasting the food our kitten loves it. When the biscuits went down she came over and started eating straight away and hasn't looked back, she seems to prefer this brand to the other two we had tried her on. There are never any left in the bowl when it comes to text feed time and she seems really happy with them. The product looks like a quality biscuit and doesn't have a nasty smell like some varieties. The packaging looks and feels nice and has a really handy opener and one corner that re-seals - great design. Overall our kitten is really happy with the food, we'll be buying it again and would 100% recommend it to other kitten owners.

Tigger absolutely loved the food as soon as it hit his bowl. Tigger eats both wet and dry food before and now he absolutely prefers purina over anything offered. I have noticed his coat is softer, and very shiny. His growth is fantastic and the vet commented how well he’s growing. He seems so content and I will absolutely be raving about this product I will be keeping him on this for the foreseeable future.

As soon as I received my Purina Pro Plan Optistart, my persian kitten Sherlock was very interested in finding out about his new food and was smelling the packaging. Usually, he gets bored with eating the same dry food all the time but not with this one, he has eaten it consistently without any refusals so far and I have so far been trying him on this new cat food for just over two weeks. Sherlock is 33 weeks of age and finds this dry food manageable because of his flatter face, although he still tends to make a bit of a mess with it like he does with all dry foods. So far so good and his fluffy coat is looking slick and healthy, what's not love!?!
