A huge step up from 1080 but it all depends on your source and what youre using to send your 4k signal. Using a Sony UPB-X700 and Onkyo NR646 with HDMI 2.0 cables(decent heavy insulated) gets an awesome picture on a 150" screen. Using a media computer( i5660k, GTX1080 Ti) and its gets even better with 60Hz at 4k and just using the amp for sound. Far warning about picture quality, if your more than 12ft away from your screen the extra detail isnt noticable and it looks just like a 1080 image.

This has been a massive upgrade from my full HD projector. It is super bright and there is virtually no lag in gaming. The remote seems a little bit flimsy but does the job.

Had been waiting for a reasonably prices 4k projector for the last couple of years, and when this came up for under $2k it was a no brainer! The 4000 lumens is very bright and it means I can watch stuff during the day without having to darken the whole room without issue - Obviously you won't get deep blacks depending on the projector screen you have doing this. The 4k resolution looks really good - It's only a shame it can only do 60Hz at this frequency and no amount of tweaking and manual adjustments with my display driver was I able to get more than 60Hz @ 4k and 2k. The 240Hz @ 1080p works flawlessly, but I wouldn't want to give up on 4k just to hit 240Hz personally. And when I'm gaming through the projector it's pretty casual non-competitive games anyway. At ... MoreHad been waiting for a reasonably prices 4k projector for the last couple of years, and when this came up for under $2k it was a no brainer! The only recommendation I would make is to get yourself a good quality silver/grey projector screen instead of white, or have very dark walls/screen not so close to the walls. As this projector is very bright, light reflecting off the projector screen can then hit your walls and reflect back at the screen again which raises the black levels a bit. I'll be updating my projector screen at some time to get rid of this - But it's not really a big issue.Solid A for projector. Would have been an A+ if it could do 120Hz @ 1440p or something in between. Look forward to upgrading if there is a next revision in the future that does 2k/4k gaming @ higher than 60Hz

I've owned projectors for many years and have been waiting for a bright 4K version to become affordable. This is it and I am very happy! My only things to point out.It seems a little touchy on the HDMI input voltage / current.I bought a new 15 meter active HDMI cable that the projector would not work with ( Source was PS5 direct). My TV would work with the cable , but not the projector. ( regardless of resolution set)Bought another brand of active cable ( Fibre) and the projector worked with that one.Limited zoom and no vertical adjustment means you need to really be careful you can mount the projector in the place it needs to be.

All the google reviews nail it. Extremely bright, very quite on eco mode, simple to operate. A huge step up in picture quality as long as the source is 4k.

This projector gives me 100" screen for $2k. Slightly challenging in summer daylight, but enjoyable after 4pm-ish, absolutely gorgeous once the sun is down even in a well-lit lounge. Very contrasty with realistic black. Fan is not noisy at all, and it pairs with Xiaomi MI box and existing sound system perfectly. Very happy.
