Oral-B Cross Action Pro 600 Electric Toothbrush

I bought this item from Chemist4U on 13th September 2023. The toothbrush does not fully charge and switches off mid way through brushing, the charger light is continuously flashing . I rang Oral B customer services and they inform me the product is faulty, they also mentioned that this brush (from the serial number) was manufactured in the in 2020 so it is no longer in warranty! They advised me to contact the retailer to remedy the issue but Chemist4u have denied responsibility and want me to sort it out with Oral B. Obviously they do not accommodate consumer rights. and I am left with a supposedly new but dud item

Changed the condition and way I brush my teeth

I purchased this toothbrush last August, having an electric toothbrush was on my bucket list, so I thought I would splurge. The best purchase I have made; my teeth feel, look, and are a lot cleaner. My dentist Is not pointing out as many flaws as I did when I was using a manual toothbrush. This really does get into the small crevices of your teeth. Topped with oral B toothpaste is the best thing with this. Totally would recommend getting one.

Disappointing timer

I bought this toothbrush because of the timer function. I was disappointed with this fiction. The toothbrush doesn’t stop after 2mins as with my previous brush. The sound it makes is barely audible above the noise of the brush as is the vibration every 30sec. The brush itself works well but no better than others on the market.

Forget rarely used brushing characteristics

There are a plethora of OralB toothbrushes in their extensive range. For straight forward everyday brushing you really don't need to have a number of different brushing characteristics which makes this one a really good value purchase. They will virtually all have the same everyday brushing capability but this one won't have the variety you rarely/ never use.Great price. Works very well. Charge lasts for 2x 2 min brushes a day for nearly 2 weeks. It twitches after 30s to judge you to move to the next quarter of your teeth.Highly recommended

Good toothbrush - works well

Good toothbrush bought at a good price. I charge it every now and then and it always works when I need it to. I had not had an electric toothbrush before so this one is working well for me. It meets my expectations.It has a charging light on it to show when its charging which is handy. I got the blue one which looks nice. It charges well in the shaver adaptor in my bathtroom.

I liked it enough to buy it again.

I bought this model of toothbrush over 5 years ago. Since then I've used it twice a day every day, and the battery life has worsened (now lasting about 2 brushes per charge), and the vigor of the brushing action has somewhat reduced. The worst issue, however was the blue rubber grip going soft like blue-tac and disintegrating (disgusting!). Though it hasn't affected usability, it has compromised it's waterproofing.Despite this, the tooth brush is inexpensive, simple and effective, so I'm happy to pay for another one that'll last another 5 years!

Okay product

This is my first battery chargeable tooth brush . However I wonder how it is different than the normal cell charging one I have used previously . Except that the brush head is small and reaches easily everywhere. O wish they had speed settings , my teeth r sensitive n I use softest of the brush n that's why I stopped previous oral b electric brush's as it made my teeth more sensitive n it felt like being attacked under a dentist chair . N same is the feeling with this new one I m scared to touch it to my teeth as it feels like I m sitting for cleaning service with a dentist . Very harsh . I wish they had some speed setting to modulate . Hence I feel not great for sensitive teeth . Sensitive - questionable

Pressure sensor bit of a joke - jysf doesn't rotate if you press diwn but that is because you are basically stopping the head, not because there is any 'sensor' built in. This sensitive model doesn't have the sensitive clean mode. My gums are not enjoying the experience so far so would suggest looking at other options if you need something gentle. I am giving this a go but so far miss my manual brush. I last used an electric toothbrush some 20 odd years ago and as far as I can see they have not moved on, still noisy and through vibration it is hard to tell what is being cleaned.

Terrible toothbrush

I got this toothbrush in December. I was really hopefully at the start with it. The adapter wasn't even a UK plug, it was a German one. So I had to spend an extra £6. When I bought the toothbrush adapter from argos, it wouldn't even hold in place properly and kept falling out. So I had to balance something strong against it just to keep it charging. Secondly I charge it all day for about 13 hours. It takes forever! When I took it out, the battery only lasted me 2 brushes, then a big red flashing light stops it. So it definitely does not last 2 weeks

Waste of money

After my dentists advice to try an electric toothbrush I bought this Genius 9000 in October 2018. The Bluetooth connection & the associated app were a big attraction despite the very high price. It worked well for about 2 years. A few months ago the connection stopped working - despite a long (and patronising) correspondence with the support people nothing could be done and I was advised to "wait for the new app" which was imminent. In the interim I just used the app manually as a timer (as an aside the sync with Apple Health is beyond hopeless - recording 4-6 sessions when there had been only 2).
