I have had this toothbrush for a couple of years now, it's the best electric toothbrush I've ever owned. When you press too hard the red light comes on which to me is great because I always use to get told off for being 'too aggressive' when brushing but my dentist has noticed this isn't an issue anymore. The numerous settings are an amazing feature, if you want your teeth feeling extra clean there's the option, there's a setting for cleaning your tongue too. I cannot recommend it enough, when I first got with my partner he had a manual brush and saw this and got himself one and hasn't looked back. Even having this brush for years I only have to charge it every 2 weeks. Toothbrush heads are also easy to purchase online any most oral b heads fit.

Brilliant electric toothbrush! Several settings including whiten, sensitive, deep clean and tongue... all have different vibrations. I've been using this for over twelve months now and my teeth have never felt or looked cleaner or whiter! Brush twice a day and the toothbrush still lasts a week on one charge. Super easy to use, and clear charge notification on the bottom, every time you turn it on. Handy storage case and charger stand if more than one user, to swap heads. I'll be honest, never used the app or the phone holder!

I've had this for a while now and I can say that it is absolutely brilliant. The vibrations are not too powerful so there is no pain in your mouth. There are various brushing modes like sensitive cleaning, ultra cleaning and even extra sensitive plus many more. I can confirm that the battery does last a good while and only need to re charge just after over a weeks worth of use. The colour is really lovely too and is very sturdy. You can download the app and use Bluetooth, you can explore al or ore on how often you brush, your brushing pattern and so much more. I have already gotten over half of my family to use electric brushes, even my own kids. This is a definite recommendation.

The Pros - It has several different brush settings such as daily care, sensitive, etc., a two minute timer to keep you true, but most importantly it has a pressure sensor that lets you know if you are putting too much brush pressure on your teeth/gums. As many dental hygienists have said, excessive pressure on the gum line in time will lead to receding gums. The Cons - the unit is more noisy than the Phillips and vibrates much more. The brush head is much large than the Philips sonic-care so getting it into the sides of the cheek is a little challenging. Also the brush head that comes with the unit was not soft enough which made me have to buy a replacement head right off the bat which I found are not cheap. Genius 8000 electric toothbrush POWERFUL

I have had top of kine electric toothbrush which lasted me 14 years with probably, after thus many years, 70% power charge I decided it was time to buy a replacement and didn't want to spend hundreds. I decided on the 8000, as my other family members have the lesser power models which are a bit cheaper. Well. Wasn't I surprised. It is so powerful and has a Red light cine in whilst brushing to warn you, you are brushing to hard,. I ended up ditching my 14 yr olds $80 brush, and spent the money in her also. The cleaning to her teeth within a week shows, as she's wears braces, so very visible.

Love the toothbrush. It is by far the best toothbrush I have owned. However, it has lost 1 star due to how the “Position Detection Technology” works. This feature requires you to set up your phone in line with your face and video yourself brushing your teeth in order for it to see which tooth your brushing. If you’re like me, this made me slightly uncomfortable knowing that I’m being recorded half naked brushing my teeth. Because of this, I don’t use this feature. It’s a bummer, because the app does have some nice features, recommendations and programs to enhance your oral hygiene. I believe the top of the range iO series brushes don’t require you to video yourself so it may pay to check those out if you want all the features, without the invasive recording.
