Oral B Glide Pro-Health Deep Clean Floss 40m

I always felt that "regular" floss cut up my gums. At one cleaning, my dentist gave me this in my goodie bag. I will never go back to another floss. It's incredibly gentle on my gums. It doesn't have the sharp edges of other flosses. It cleans extremely well and the mint flavor isn't overwhelming, either. I don't hate flossing now like I used to. I highly recommend this to give your gums some TLC along with a good clean.

Excellent!

Flossing is definitely a must to maintain healthy gums. I have been using this and like it coz the floss is broad so it is gentle on the gums. Unlike those thin floss that caused my gums to bleed. This floss is very efficient in removing stuff stuck in between the teeth keeping my gums clean and healthy. I have also tried other floss that frays and it was really frustrating. This floss does not fray. Great quality and value for money.

Flossy

I'm trying to get into the habit of flossing regularly. I was hoping trying something new would help. The first thing I noticed with Oral B Glide was how wide and shiny it was compared with my other floss. I was unsure if that would make a difference. It did! The floss went smoothly between my teeth and did the job. I didn't have to struggle hesitantly and I wasn't really sore later either. This will be my go to floss for dental hygiene from now on!

If you need dental floss

I wish I had experimented with this floss years ago. Tried a dentist sample floating around my bag for over a year when I suddenly ran out of my usual Reach floss. All flosses get stuck in some of my teeth and then I am negligent about flossing them again. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly the Glide floss functioned without shredding. It gave me new confidence to go where I hadn't gone before; and I rushed out to buy some. The down side was a shocking sticker price about $6. This is the most expensive floss I have every bought and no special discounts were available. I absolutely love this floss (prefer original without mint flavor) and will continue to buy regardless of the cost.

Love this floss!

Every time I go to the dentist, I always ask what floss they use. It's always a thick, durable floss and I get disappointed when I buy floss only to find out it's thin. I don't feel that kind does a great job of cleaning my teeth and the thinness ends up hurting my gums. Well, I finally found what I was looking for! I've never tried the Glide brand but I definitely should've been using it! This floss is fantastic. It's a thick floss and feels very strong and durable. Overpriced—declined in quality

This used to be my favorite dental floss. It glided through the space between my tight teeth and it was sturdy while comfortable. Lately, this dental floss shreds as you are trying to tear it from the container. It doesn’t glide as well or hold up and the cost is ridiculous. I’m going back to a generic or Reach brand dental floss for less than a dollar a container. Nine dollars for dental floss is nuts.

He wants me to tell you all that this is the best floss he has ever used, and I agree with him. We are avid flossers. Floss aficionados. Classically trained floss sommeliers. There is some seriously crappy floss out there. Floss that's too thick and can't get between tight teeth that can't afford braces right now, floss that shreds and breaks. Very high PFAS in this floss

This dental floss has 250,000 parts per MILLION of PFAS (that’s 25%), chemicals with known linkages to endocrine disruption, reproductive diseases, obesity, diabetes, and a decreased immune response. This level of PFAS is higher than any other known consumer product (by comparison, the worst sparking water has 9 parts per TRILLION). I am disgusted that I used this for a decade without knowing the harm I was causing to my body. Target should remove this product from its shelves.

Warning: Contains PFAS ("Forever Chemicals")

I’m a health and science journalist. So imagine my disappointment when I found this floss — my longtime daily floss — cited BY NAME in a study in the Journal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology. This floss contains PFAS, toxic “forever chemical” plastic compounds that can accumulate in your body. Once they’re in your body, they can take many years to break down. The study listed 6 other big-brand dental floss products that also contained PFAS. Floss is something we put in our mouths daily, so we end up getting a more direct exposure to PFAS than from, say, nonstick cookware (another major culprit). Do your research and proceed with caution.

After using this, try scraping your teeth with a fingernail or a toothpick. All the plaque is still between your teeth! I curve my floss and saw up and down the sides of my teeth! I'm thorough! It still doesn't work. NOT AT ALL. I wasn't sure why i kept having problems and stains until my dentist said to tie a knot in my floss to pop between teeth. BOOM! THAT GRABBED THE PLAQUE! yuck! I hadn't been flossing right in a few years! Seriously, I wish i could sue and if i could find anyone else like me, I think we'd win.
